The room was really tight, but very clean, romantic, excellent location and spotles! Everything what you need when you're in Paris for few days to see the city. |

It was clean, the room was comfortable and it is on a quiet street. There is a thermostat in the room so temp is easily controllable. Room is rather small, but okay for a couple of days. Breakfast room is below ground level so there is no view or natural light, so we went to a brasserie. The shower curtain tended to drain water onto the floor and the shower head fitting could not be tightened properly, so it had to be held. |

Newly renovated, good quality fixtures/fittings/bedding. Room very clean. Reception nice, staff friendly. Room .very small but normal by Paris standards. A bit further out in the Latin Quarter than I would normally have chosen to stay at, on the Metro Line 7, which is not as convenient as Line 4. Couldn't get my laptop on to the free WiFi... |

The neigbourhood around this hotel is great, real Paris, so many shops and all kind of restaurants. Very near from metro station. The hotel, in spite of being quite small, has a very charming facade. |

Loved the room, a bit small but everything you need. Very well laid out, which has been decorated recently. We were right by to Metro which is 2 minuets away from Hotel also restaurants all around. This Hotel was 5 minuets walk from Les Goblins. For UK people visiting, Not enough choice for Breakfast! |

A nice, small, recently refurbished hotel located in a wonderful (very parisienne) neighborhood. Very close to mertro, restaurants, etc. Walking distance to Notre Dame. Internet did not work during my 3-day stay, despite some efforts of the staff. |

It is well connected by the metro to all the major attractions in Paris. The neighbourhood is clean and safe. There are plenty of shops all around, and one can go on foot to the Pantheon and an old mosque. |

It was elegant for the price, air conditioning was useful, great amenities (TV, wireless internet). Small room, but that was fine for me. Great location; right around the corner was the metro stop (for route number 7 I believe). Got to experience a different part of Paris, more neighborhood than tourist areas. The bathroom is tiny, but that didn't really bother me (comes with most Parisian stays). The shower did tend to get water all over the floor immediately next to it. No big deal, just a warning. |

A very good surprise for a two star hotel in paris. Clean room, nice design, great location. The wifi was almost unusable, very slow and unreliable. |

Although small, the rooms were recently remodeled and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was rather meager for 9 Euro and the wireless did not extend all the way to the top floors. During my stay it stopped working altogether. When I suggested that perhaps there might be something wrong with the wireless as I was able to get a weak signal Wednesday and nothing Thursday, the staff at the front desk told me my computer was broken. As I was able to connect to another pay-for-service wireless connection from my hotel room, this was obviously not true. If you need to work while in Paris, I would not recommend this hotel. However, it would be fine for the casual tourist. |

The location is excellent, very close to Rue Mouffetard but in a much quieter neighborhood. We booked this room because of the balcony, which is indeed excellent for relaxing at the end of the day enjoying the view over Paris, with or without a glass of wine. The hotel is honest in warning that the rooms are indeed small (however, if the weather is nice, the balcony more than makes up for it). While the window in the bathroom is nice, the glass door to the room is not, particularly if your sleep is disturbed by morning light. |

The location was great. The hotel has recently gone through a major renovation. However, the mattress in my room was too old. |

De staff at the Hotel Maxim was very friendly. Rooms were clean and freshly decorated and renovated. Bathroom was very clean. Nice, small and friendly hotel. Rooms are a bit noise, so if you plan to be loud try another hotel..... |

The room is large, comfortable and quiet. The bed is good and walls are covered with a white soft covering, and a large mirror. Ideal for comfortable sleeping, and romantic nights. The bathroom is isolated from the room only by a opaque glass. Hot water takes a while to pour from the shower. |

I liked the politeness of the staff and I also enjoyed the proximity to numerous good restaurants and to the train station. The room was clean. The room was a bit small, but I expected this from the review I read. |
