Hôtel Médicis

The staff was very friendly. The rooms were quite clean, and I liked the way that the bathroom was separate from the hotel room, but still en suite. The balconies were nice. Many people reacted negatively to the elevator in the hotel--it was not a big deal, I've been in European hotels that have a much worse elevator set up. It was nicely located for the Nice Ville train station. In other reviews, it made it sound as it was just across the street. It's a little further than I thought, but within very easy walking distance. It is across the street, but actually down a few blocks to the right when you exit the station, then around a corner and a bit down another street before you arrive.

Many hotels have wifi these days, so I was surprised this one did not. If hotels do not have wifi, they at least have a computer you can use in the lobby for email or confirming trip details. This hotel charges 9 euros an hour to use their computer in the lobby. Out of 7 hotels on my trip, this is the only one that charged for that--and the cost was outrageous. The twin beds are significantly smaller than an actual twin bed. I nearly fell off several times in the middle of the night because it was so small. I've never seen anything like this in any of the many hotels I've stayed in while vacationing in Europe.

Nice an near the station plus it was not far to walk to the town and seaside

It was good. The hotel is a budget hotel, with really small rooms (as are in all of France) which are really clean. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The cafe next door has with good coffee and croissants (that's all I had..) and nice waiters. Also, the area around the hotel is great, a block from the train station and a 10 min walk from the center.

Not much. Do remember it is not a fancy hotel. It is ok for a 3-night stay.

senza infamia e senza lode, buona posizione rispetto alla stazione (meno buona rispetto al centro)

Tristesse de l'accueil, manque de luminosité à la réception, mobilier vétuste et surtout mauvaises odeurs... peut être dues à la moquette qui ne m'a pas parue récente!! le parquet serait plus approprié pour du grand passage. manque crucial d'équipement audio visuel;

La qualité dus ervice est certain et le rapport qualité prix est plus qu'excellent. Notre séjour a été meilleur que dans la chaine de l'hotel Ibis.

simplement changer le rideau douche qui est le seul point négatif.
