Mercure Atria Arras Centre  

La catena Mercure è sempre stata all'altezza delle aspettative. Siamo stati benissimo e desidero ringraziare perché, a causa di un malessere, mio marito ha dovuto riposare fino all'ora di pranzo e avevo detto alla cameriera che non era necessario sistemare la stanza, dato che saremmo rimasti fino a circa le 14. Siamo usciti alle 14 e al rientro nel pomeriggio abbiamo ugualmente trovato la stanza perfetta.

Hotel was very clean room was excellent clean and spotless, Internet speed good and mighty comfortable bed , would recommend and stay again , I did not eat here so can't comment on food but from what I saw it looked good !

The hotel is in easy reach of the centre of Arras but is in a quiet area. Parking underneath the hotel is very convenient.Plenty of coice at breakfast.

It would be good if there could be a swipe key to the hotel entrance from the car park to save having to go out and come in again especially in wet weather.

The bar atmosphere was good for our group then we could move into the dining room for dinner at leisure, It is close to the city night life.

I felt it was a bit expensive compared with other motels as we travelled around. The hair dryer was hopeless.

Staff are always welcoming. Cleanliness of the hotel. It's closeness to Arras Square. The value for money. Always peaceful in the hotel.

On booking the hotel months before i had requested a room over looking the front of the hotel. We were given a room overlooking the back of the hotel & a car park. I explained i did not want that room because of the view, after requesting months in advance a view over the front. We we offered another room but this was no better, so stayed with the original room. I appreciate that any requests cannot be guarenteed, but a room over looking the front of the hotel would not have been difficult to achieve. We were told we were being given a room on the quiet side of the hotel, but we did not want this. We have stayed 3 times at this hotel, and like the archietcture of the buildings facing the front of the hotel & the buildings leading to the main square including churches are visible. Having said all this the hotel is a favourite of ours, and this would not put us off stopping here next year.

Can't fault the hotel. Location excellent for us - one of our group is a wheel-chair user and the hotel staff were very kind and facilities were ideal. Car park next door also helped. We hope to return in the future and would certainly recommend to others.

Traffic noise was our only issue and guess not much could be done about this.

It's a good hotel for a reasonable price, ideally located next to the railway station and close to the city center and the Carriere Wellington. The TV could have some more international channels, but the free wi-fi compensated that.

The room was basic but functional. We weren't on a luxury weekend. There was a seperate toilet / shower room. There was a very strong smell of urine in the WC and an unpleasant smell in the shower room when taps were running. Seems to be down to bad plumbing as opposed to the room not being cleaned.

Easy and cheap parking, good central location

Might be a low 3 star hotel, certainly nothing more. Rooms spartan and a little worn. Its a conference hotel really. Poor breakfast, and expensive at 15 Euro

We liked the hotel very much because it was good value for money, clean, smart rooms, good food in the restaurant, good location, helpful staff

The maid forgot to replenish the milk so we could not have a cup of tea in the morning.

Beautiful square and nice shops.

Too quite in the evening, especially on Sunday when most restaurants were closed.

The location and overall cleanliness was excellent. Everything we required. My Son and I were only staying one night and the hotel was perfect for our requirements

Reasonable price for good quality and clean accommodation. Staff very friendly and cheerful. Comfortable bed. Basic hot drink making items (kettle, sachets and paper cups) were good to have and not that common for France. Good breakfast buffet with plentiful fruit, cereal and pastries (also some cooked items). Location just a short distance from the picturesque squares and Saturday market.

Did ask for a slow draining sink to be seen to, but this did not happen during our stay. Did not try the restaurant as the wine prices seemed to be very expensive.

Excellent menu for dinner. Good service. Friendly staff. Comfortable bedroom. Good central location. Parking availability ( at cost of €10)

Other visitors were given a key to our room after we checked in but we were given a free drink when the staff realised their error
