Mercure Paris La Défense 5    

We thought the hotel was very comfortable and good value for money. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was in a good position near a small shopping centre. It suited our needs perfectly.

The restaurant was closed at the weekend but there were plenty of restaurants in the immediate area.

They are close to Charras Commercial Centre Rue Baldin, Courbevoie 92400 - France There are few better places to go shopping in the suburbs of Greater Paris than this big commercial centre at the heart of this district. The centre has something to cater for every taste and budget, combining the traditional French boutique style of shopping with the more modern warehouse district style stores.

Full of low-rate travelling groups from india and cabin crews from cheap companies. Breakfast is much less than standard. No shuttle to airport. Difficult to find from La Defence as no one knows the place even taxi drivers unless you ask them to take you to Charras commercial centre. Bedsheets were dirty and they didn't refill the coffee for the second day of stay.

Good views from top floors, safe quiet area

Ten minute walk to nearest tube and rooms on small side.

- Price was good - Breakfast was good and was included in the price

- Far from Metro - 10 minutes walk - even if there is a free shuttle. Should not be in a rush. - Not much to do around but in 15 minutes in Paris by Metro or by car. - Cannot come back easily to the hotel from Paris late night - except by Taxi.

The staff at the reception didn't speak very well English. The staff responsible for the shuttle were not so polite.

Love the beds, eco duvets, the dressing gown and small minibar ...

your towels are still too small - typically french...

Room decoration & furniture very basic, cheap... It's not a 4 star standard.. Bath room really minuscule... Dinner with limited choice. Old elevators with long waiting time

It's 10 minutes walking from La Defense business center. Free WiFi works very well. Rooms are comfortable.

No major problems.

Staff at the reception were very friendly and we even have a choice if we want a room on the upper floors with a view toward Eifel Tower or on other side. Good breakfast!

About 9am on sunday morning staff who clean the room woke me up to ask when we'll leave the room. However check out was till noon. It is certainly not for a hotel with 4* plus if at the door was do not disturb. In the breakfast hall, the woman who cleaned the tables did not pay attention to the fact that we have breakfast so we had to move us few times, like thah she was able to pass... There is no time schedule for shuttle bus...

The proximity to the office in La Defense

Air conditioning wasn't working. Hard pillows. Shampoo and Body Wash wasn't replaced after the first day. Room was small and cramped.

The facilities were great and the rooms were nice too. One of the best things was the free shuttle to the La Defense train station. This was helpful as this was the easiest way to get into Central Paris. The mall right next was handy for quick dinner/lunch. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

The room had a bit of a smoke smell when we walked in but it was fine after we left the windows open for a bit. Apart from that, all good.

Stupid hotel with out mini bar n worst services, airconditioning doesnt work, no room service after 11 pm, very far from metro station, dont book this hotel for cheap reasons, you will lose in paying for taxis, ofcourse you dont get taxis from metro to hotel in night time, you land up walking all the streets for more than 1.5 kms..overall waste of staying, spoiled the complete tour mood of paris.. Fucking hotel

The breakfast was huge, even if it wasn't so clean.

Staff wasn't so nice, they have 3 lifts, but you need to wait at least 5 minuts to have on of them on your floor. It is a 4 star hotel but there isn't the frigobar and the rooms (at least ours) are very small. There is not the aspiration in the bathroom (it has not a window). It is not so easy the way to the parking.

Mix feelings, at times amazing service...superb staff during night shift...snobbish...rude staff during day ....Spcly a gentlemen called Jonathan.... rude ..impolite...definetely not a person from hospitality background. barring the experience with this fellow...i liked it....far from city attractions but every 10 mns service to nearest metro station running till midnight. taxi would cost 15 euros from hotel to Champs elyses..good restaurants nearby...

Polite & helpful staff. Good location, close to the shopping gallery and 10-15 min walk from metro line. No big traffic and noise on the streets near the hotel. Big plus for speakers in a bathroom

The room was not clean enough thoroughly - I stained my shirt with a food stain when leaning on the desk in my room just at arrival. The breakfast room is a big too small. During morning rush hour it was difficult to find a free and covered table.

Excellent hotel. Free shuttle for Metro station. In minutes you're in Paris downtown. quite and efficient. Price very good. To be suggested.

location, its a 5 minutes walk from the main la defense plaza. its quiete and clean, pretty good business hotel

showers - they were really bad, impossible to regulate and as a result cold. other than that, no dislikes

Big room

хороший номер, чистый, без запаха, уютный. вода есть горячая и холодная. из окна вид на париж и небоскрёбы курбевуа. кровати не пролёжаннные. телевизор плоский. в номере вода эвиан, чай, кофе в пакетиках, сахар, чайник, 2 печенюшки. завтрак - европейский, вкусный.

WiFi в номере был только в туалете и то постоянно слетал. нет тапочек, шапочки для душа и на ресепшене тоже отказали (отель вроде ****). пришлось два раза спускаться вниз и просить выдать гель, шампунь и мыло. с персоналом на этаже обсуждать это бесполезно - делают вид, что не понимают.

Le room service le soir quand on arrive tard c est appreciable de se faire porter le diner en chambre. Le calme j etais cote "cour"
