I liked the fact that the hotel was close to the city center so getting around was farely easy.the breakfast buffet was just amazing.
there was no real room service because the hotel doesn not have a actual kitchen.
The hotel is very well located, close to the old port and to a shopping center. The property is clean and fairly comfortable, while the staff is professional and efficient.
The windows are small and cannot be open, which is a pity because the view from the upper floor is nice. The furniture is standard, but the room is in need of some refurbishment to update its look and brighten up the room, which doesn't get too much light from the small windows. The bathroom is clean but everything is made of plastic, which makes it look cheap.
I couldn't have picked better in terms of its location. And the bonus was from our room we had great views of the Notre-Dame De la Garde particularly when light up during the night. And from the hotel, make a right hand turn and you literally walk into the main shopping complex. In fact everything is at your door step so to speak. The French are renown for their nonchalance so when we discovered that the staff were ever so friendly and inviting it was a relief.
I unfortunately was bitten by bed bugs and as a result I had an allergic reaction. By the time I got back to Paris I ended up having to seek medical consultation by a local English speaking GP who had to prescribe me steroids in order to treat the symptoms. He at the time was not clear of what had caused the allergy/reaction which I found unsettling. It has been two weeks now, arriving back in Australia I have seeked further medical advise/assistance and am on a course of antibiotics. My spots are just starting to fade. This also occurred to my brother whilst we were staying at a hotel in Paris, hence it's an issue that needs addressing!!
Very well situated, close to old port and close to train station.
Room was smelly, carpet needs heavy cleaning.
Location, easy parking and door exit to shopping mall
Hotel interior was well maintained and the staff pleasant. The bar was fine.
The location is the worst of any hotel I've stayed in, in recent memory. Walking to the entrance requires going through a gauntlet of homeless people, mostly drunk. There's graffiti on walls all around and in general personal safety was a concern. I would never stay in this hotel again because of its unsavory location.
location was perfect for us - a few blocks back from the waterfront and awayd from the tourist hordes, but close to the railway station. Good breakfast. Plenty of good eating places around.
The STAFF is professional and friendly The great view of the Notre Dame Close to Old Port
Breakfeast is too expensive
Breakfast, comfort, cleanness
Great location and very friendly and helpful reception staff!! Fantastic value for money.
Although excellently located for tourist attractions, just outside and walking there from the train station, found us wondering through a dirty uncomfortable area.
Location to the old harbour and the restaurants is great. The room was of acceptable size Bathroom fittings are of excellent quality Underground parking makes it so easy
One lift was out of service and this caused a major wait to get to the ground floor A while the directions to the parking was ok and easy once you get there it can be confusing. Just drive in until you see a Mercure sign and then quite simple.
Well located for the Old Port and shops. Large bed and room, good shower. Reception staff very helpful
The "Down and Outs" drinking and sleeping on the approach to the hotel. Each morning the Breakfast room was a sea of used plates, cups etc. No attempt to clear up. Difficult to find a table to use. Most of the breakfast staff were surly
The room was very comfortable
I lost my sunglasses in the leaving room and the stuff didn't care to watch the security cameras to see the person who took them and also when I arrived in the hotel they gave me a room which was not ready yet, of course they gave me an other one which was ok.

- Staff didn't make any effort to explain hotel facilities such as parking. - DON'T PARK on the street in front of this hotel. You might wakeup and see your car has a broken window and anything left inside is gone! - Dinner at this hotel is a joke, don't try it, unless you like airplane food.
Location fantastic, Porte Ville area. Great tourist maps showing walks through the markets, artist/craft quarters and the old fort area of the city. Port area a beautiful place to walk, great sculptures and in a great setting. Good to see buildings sympathetically restored.
The new museum in the shopping centre......well it was closed for days due to technological difficulties. Guess that's what you get when you rely on audio visual displays. When will curators learn that a museum is about the collection not the gimmicks. Do they think the general public can't read.
The bright and welcoming decor, warm and friendly staff, the central and convenient location.
The immediate neighborhood was somewhat stinky and shady.
The staff and Facilities
English speaking channels
Breakfast, localization and friendly staff. Cleaning of our room was good.
Everything was good!
Everything Good except wifi service
Staff Rooms Service
Spacious and comfortable rooms. Nice architecture. Stay pool side if possible.
There was cigarette smoke coming into our room from neighboring rooms! Not a great area to be around, you have to drive to get to anywhere nice.
Good car access from a7 to the underground parking at Bourse (Mercure hotel has its own gated section within the parking complex). Hotel is very central, 5 minute walk to Vieux Port and 20 mins to Panier district. Hotel is very quiet at night.
Breakfast is too expensive at Euro18.90. But nearby Starbucks is open on Sunday and Bourse shopping centre adjacent to hotel has cafes (closed Sunday).
Reliable Mercure quality
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best we have encountered in 10 weeks travel around Europe.
Whilst the location of the hotel was very handy to port and shops if the shopping mall was closed one had a few undesirable streets to contend with.
