Mercure Nice Promenade Des Anglais  

This hotel is just wonderful, the location is perfect right on the Promenade de Anglas. Rooms are spacious and very modern, and bathrooms to die for. I believe it has recenty been renovated and it shows. Our room was not ocean facing but had a balcony with Ocean View from the side street, double glazed windows block out all noise. Location was excellent with all sights, restaurants, bars within walking distance. I would highly recommend this and will definitely be staying again.

Location is very central to Nice and the rooms are new and modern.

This hotel has only the first three floors of the building making the sea views limited. The bedroom balcony is not a true balcony, very small and not big enough to sit in - standing room only. This, and the traffic noise from the promenade, makes the balcony unusable. The hotel has no lounge or bar (or any facilities) so no late night drinks!

Very nice hotel with a very ,very good localization. The room & bathroom are big and nice. I can't say a bad word about this hotel.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful reception.All areas of the hotel are extremely clean and freshly decorated .Contemporary , well designed bedrooms - go for the luxury option with a wonderful view to the sea and promenade.

Tv channels very limited. No outdoor sitting areas but not really a problem as the hotel has the beach on its doorstop.

It wasnt clear here that its a small part of le meridien building not a big hotel. The breakfast variety was limited. We didnt enjoy the sea breeze as our balcony was closed due to construction or for safty!! Im not sure. Inside the hotel the temperature was extremely high, i couldnt sleep from the heat and the ac was turned to a heater, no option for cooling.

Its the best place in Nice to be, right on the accessible beach and so close to central Old Nice and so beautiful. I loved the stay there but there is no variety or offers for extra value even when off season as there is not much competition as all nearby hotels as also Mercure owned. This kills the competition

The staff and service were excellent, the room was comfortable with new furniture and appliances. There was even an electric kettle in the room which was very handy for us since we were traveling with our 20-month daughter. The location was also very convenient as for the modern city and the old Nice.

The staff were friendly and all spoke english which assisted us greatly given our french is extremely average. The hotel room was probably the best laid out of any we stayed in during our 3 week trip through France and Italy. Very comfortable. Good breakfast selection.
