Mercure Nice Promenade Des Anglais

Su situación en Niza es estupenda, en la misma Promenade des Anglais y cerca de las calles peatonales con tiendas y restaurantes. La caja fuerte de la habitación es gratuita.

Nos dieron una habitación interior (habitación 337), muy minimalista y poco acogedora. Sin embargo, la cama era estupenda. La bañera presentaba dificultad para entrar en ella por su altura. Es preferible un plato de ducha. La dificultad para aparcar el coche se soluciona pagando el aparcamiento público (forfait de 100 Euros para 5 días) que tiene acceso directo por escalera al hotel.

No sé indicaba en la web que el hotel tiene acceso directo desde el parking público del casino Rhul, y aunque no hay ascensor, este acceso facilita bastante la llegada

The closeness to the beach, restaurants and shopping area

The bath tub didn't close properly when pushed in, and the lights didn't work. The TV control also didn't work, and the cleaner indicated we have to use the buttons behind the TV! So much for a modern hotel.

The hotel is in a convenient central location, and the rooms we stayed in had just been redecorated (incl the bathroom), and were clean. The buffet style breakfast was alright as well.

The long dark corridors smelt quite musty, and the carpet in our room felt a bit damp in front of the bathroom (which we mentioned at reception before we left).

I liked the colors of the room and the air conditioning. Also, the bed was comfortable.

I did not like that you had to pay for wifi.

convenient to everything. the hotel was in an excellent position. we especially loved waking up with our sea view.the room was excellent. really clean and modern.

there was only one baby chair in the breakfast room

The location was excellent, virtually on Promenade des Anglais, close to the old town, pedestrianised streets, and adjacent to the Airport bus stop. The breakfast was very good (part of a 'breakfast included' tariff).

Our room was a little dark (overlooking the patio at the back, surrounded by high rise blocks), but the only rooms with twin beds were overlooking the patio. On the other hand the room was very quiet!

The staff were pleasant and helpful. The main plus however is the location. On the seafront and close to shops, restaurants etc.

There was a fumes-like smell in the room.
