Location is unbeatable. Attached to Gare de Lyon where you can reach by the Air France bus for 16.50 Euro from CDG Airport and from Gare de Lyon you can travel by train, metro or TGV (superfast train). You have to pay for WIFI internet access. Rooms are rather small. |

service, price, and proximity to Gare de Lyon. Although on 6th floor, I could still smell cigarette smoke at entrance and bathroom. I am very sensitive. There must be a common ventilaytion system. |

We got upgraded and had a free mini bar (no alcohol), which was nice, but the room was still quite small and no bath, just a walk in shower. |

Very convenient location adjacent to the Gare De Lyon. Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was superb for my overnight stay. Impossible to fault for a short term stay and convenience to the Gare and City icons. |

Location, coach from, access to trains without need for transport. Access to restaurants. Good rooms, great bathrooms. lobby feels a little impersonal. |

It is central and the room was clean Your reception staff do not have a clue about the needs of a tourist and gave us wrong information. The beds are rickety and dilapidated. |

Absolutely nothing The room needs a new paint, the refrigerator stink, the toilett was leaking, water from the tap spit in all directions, at 12:30 am (just after midnight!!!!!), constructions started with percussion drills and hammers. By 2:30 am I had to use toilett paper as ear plugs. All in all an unacceptable hotel. And why does every 60€/night country hotel offers free wireless internet while a hotel where you have to pay 180€/night charges you extra. Once again ... for me, never ever Mercure again! |

The staffs are very helpful and nice. The location is excellent if you are using TGV. On the first floor there are baggage lockers that you can use for free, so you can leave your baggage after checking-out and go out to the city, and you can retrieve the baggage anytime you want, without asking at the reception. The rooms are old-fashioned, but apparently there will be reconstruction in 2009-2010. They did not have an instantaenous water heater for teas/coffees. |

The staff was very friendly. The location was alright. The carpet in the room and the hallways was old they looked dirty. The room was quite small. No decoration whatsoever. Not worth the 175,00 Euros I paid. |

excellent location, very friendly staff, the receptionist was so kind to upgrade the room free of charge because we asked for an extra bed for kid. nice breakfast and mezonin bar. old beds. |
