This Mercure hotel is located right next to train and Metro connections at the Gare de Lyon. It offers soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee making facilities. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to the Gare Lyon and that allowed us to catch an early morning train south. The room was very small, a bit like being on a boat!

Good location Had to pay the hotel for the booking on checking out eventhough I had thought it was already paid through the booking.com website - hotel are claiming it was never paid through the website due to a software change.

The Hotel is 3 stars not 4 as mentioned in Booking.com website, the floor corridors carpets are dirty, the rooms smells very bad so I had to leave the window open all the time when I'm out, the house keeping team makes a lot of noise in the upper floor since early morning, Having a question about directions I had to wait at the reception for more than 5 minutes while the guy at reception was speaking on the phone and once he finishe he just left to inside without even looked at me!

Perfect location directly next to the Gare de Lyon, with connections to TGV and Metro. Good baggage storage system for day of departure. Sub-optimal design of walk-in shower in superior/privilège room -> wet bathroom floor. Rather stale air in room -> frequent airing needed.

Good location for arriving / travelling in Paris. Stayed here 2 months earlier and made a comment about the mess due to the tramps around the station. This was greatly improved. Pleasant rooms and an upgrade meant a proper coffee machine. Few complaints - tv had very few english language stations.

It is very well located, by Gare de Lyon, near metro, bus and train station. Free and good internet connection. There aren't hair conditioner and shower cap in bathroom.

The hotel is adjacent to the Gare De Lyon train station (useful for Eurail passengers) and there is a wide range of nearby restaurants. Good room facilities such as king size beds & bath/shower, however there is limited floor space to unpack two suitcases. Friendly & helpful staff.

Hotel worthy the 3 stars. Minuses in number aren't present, except the sizes of a room, but for Paris it is normal. In rooms cleaned every day. The bed-clothes were changed by time in 3 days. In difference from 4 stars there was no only a dressing gown and slippers. But it was possible to prepare hot tea or coffee. Smell of the Parisian underground. But it not hotel problems)))

Convenient location by the Gare de Lyon with good public transport connections to the center of the city, to and fom the cdg airport etc. The hotel staff was friendly. The buffet breakfast that included in the price of the room was really appreciated! The size of the room did not allow much space for keeping clothes, luggage etc. neatly. We stayed at the hotel for almost a week, which is apparently more than a usual business stay, when the lack of storage space would not matter too much.

Great location and great rooms. We were given free drinks and use of great products. We did stay there twice within a week for a total of 5 night stay. The first room we were in was small and the bed was broken. The next time we stayed there I spoke up and was given a large room and the bed was great. Very modern!

Clean, efficient, very convenient location for Gare Du Lyon Room was a bit small, nowhere to put suitcase other than by the side of the bed and wardrobe space non existent. Breakfast too expensive but no alternatives on a bank holiday

Next to Gare de Lyon train station. Room was clean and tidy.could not expect more . It served our purpose. The breakfast was very adequate.And enjoyed the various type of breads. Wifi was free and fast. The door knob of the closet door was not fixed even though we notified the housekeeper on checking in.
