air conditioning did not work properly. It was too hot in the room. I slept with the window open - in late November! :)
Room was very stuffy
Good location for train transfers and overnight stays from Gare de Lyon with helpful staff.
Very overpriced for quality, size of room and facilities. Room looked clean at first glance but carpet very stained and build up of dust on headboard light fittings. Tea and coffee tray consisted of paper cups with only 2 sugar sticks, 2 milks and 3 assorted teas. Restaurant closed at 11pm so if you arrive after this time as I did all that was on offer was overpriced sandwiches and drinks from the M shop.
Location is fantastic, arrived and left from Gare de Lyon and you couldn't be closer. There is noise from the station, but it's bearable and stops at night. Rooms are a good size compared to other Paris. hotels I've stayed in. Good choice at breakfast. Excellent wifi. Would definitely stay again.
Comfortable but very squeaky mattress on my bed, woke me a couple of times when I moved. Shower could not be adjusted high enough (and I'm not talk). Although breakfast was good, it was too expensive.
No free wi-fi
You can smell a stench of old tobacco which can not be cleaned.
Location, particularly for major train connections. Very quite in rooms. Modern facilities. Good breakfast
Very helpful and friendly staff. Good service, room was nice, clean and confortable, not so small. Good value for the price and very convenient location
Poor house keeping: My was not made up, and despite, did not get the appropriate apology from the management! Heater was so high, that made the room very hot!
Comfort and efficient
Mini bar lacked alcohol
- The location is right next to the train station. - Room is nice and always clean. - Stocks are always replenished (though they are minimal as they don't have toothbrush and comb) - Our requests prior to arrival are well taken care of, they maintain constant communication.
- Reception staff sometimes are grumpy and makes you feel you're disturbing them when you ask questions. Being a tourist, I once asked something about the train tickets and she answered me that she doesn't sell tickets and I should go ask the customer service at the train station instead. - NO AIRCONDITIONING on the first 4nights of our stay. On our 2nd day, they told me it's because it's already winter but apologised since they are not expecting that temperature would be high so will ask the technician to fix. The room only got cold on our last night. Our child wakes up sweating and crying, in fact he even had a fever, as we informed the reception and the manager that day, all they did was send an electric fan and said the technician will come fix the aircon. Only our fourth night and checkout day was the room cold enough.
I cannot fault the staff at all. The location of the hotel was perfect and the bed very comfortable. Wefound some items broken when we arrived and they were sorted immediately. The rooms are quiet, even though next to a train station, however they are extremely hot too with no real ability to turn the temperature down (we put air con on 10 and still it was warm!) Also, be aware they require a card as a guarantee which they take more than the cost of your stay from temporarily. They say they don't, but I had money remover/held from my bank without warning. Maybe confusion, but highly irritating when assures it would not be taken and insufficient funds to cover said removal
Asked for late checkout and this was confirmed. However, on the checkout morning, the reception called me twice to ask when I was checking out and both the times I had to explain that I had recieved an ok for late checkout. The point of the late check out was to catch some sleep after a long day/night. This was definitely disturbed!
- Very close to Gare de Lyon Station - Friendly staffs - Room is clean and quiet
Closed to metro (RER A). Nice location, breakfast is varied. wifi connection is excellent. restaurants are around. A halal Turkish Restaurant is down the street about 300m. Airport shuttle is available with fee (36€). Very good Staff with spoken English.
Expensive. No sound proof, you can hear the train when it departs (3rd floor). Zero view. Basic amenities. French Channels only. I wont stay again if the cost remains the same (230 € per-night)
The hotel was next door to the Metro
Airconditioning was not functioning properly
This Hotel was overated ! No Iron or ironing board in room . Small rooms . No ! I cannot recomend this hotel to anyone .
Location and staff
Air conditioning and the view was terrible
location was good, close to metro, and walking distance to places to eat.
it was hard to communicate with staff, after filling in a form for breakfast for our departure in the morning when we was departing nothing had been arranged for breakfast and we was hanging around whilst they sorted us a biscuit and hot drink. also at 5am there was a group of people outside hotel drinking alcohol and approaching my fiance and doors to hotel was locked and she couldn't gain entry back in.
Great location, at the train station. Very Friendly staff. Nespesso coffee is provided.
Got off the train and the hotel was right there. Despite my fears, sound-proofing was indeed excellent. Appreciated the coffee machine and the free cold drinkss.
Couldn't find any decent restaurants nearby. Pity the hotel doesn't have one.
We arrived late at night from Milan and the man on reception was not very helpful. However next morning the manager who happened to be checking us out apologised for the inconvenience caused and insisted on giving us croissants and orange juice for our onward journey .She had offered a free breakfast but we had declined as we were travelling on and didn't have time. She was extremely helpful. A pleasant stay.
When we arrived we were late and asked if we could pay extras in sterling as the website said we could, but the man on reception said no and we could not get anything without euro. There were complimentary water and minerals in the room and coffee making facilities so it did not matter too much. However he was not very helpful. The manager next morning was lovely.
Location was excellent as we were travelling to & from Gare de Lyon. They kept our luggage until departing time so it was most convenient. Staff were kind and helpful.
Rooms have been renovated but not completely: it is strange to see the mixture of a brand new bathroom with an old broken door, and details of the kind. The breakfast is a rip-off: there are good places for breakfast directly at the street.
the little café near the meals room and the kind staff a nice 2/3* hotel... good location near the station RER and metro
too expensive (265, without breakfast!) for a small room, far, noizy (train down) , no shampoo, etc in the toilette... a good 2 stars instead of a 'so called 4 stars'!....
The location was right next to Lyon station which is convenient if traveling by train to Spain or South of France.
