This hotel is in the heart of picturesque Paris, near the Butte Montmartre, Sacré-Cœur and Place du Tertre. It has comfortable accommodations and free Wi-Fi access.
Score from 344 reviews Wonderful
Hotel Mercure Paris Gare De Lyon is right next to train and Metro connections at the Gare de Lyon. It has rooms with free Wi-Fi, bottle of water and tea and coffee-making facilities.

Located 320 yards from Moulin Rouge and a 20-minute walk from Basilique du Sacré-Coeur, ibis Paris Montmartre features a snack bar and air-conditioned, rooms with private bathrooms with a TV.

Location is perfect for night life and exploring Paris. Fridge in room was handy and room was nice and spacious.
Our rooms air con was really poor, asked at the reception and they said they'd look into it but nothing changed, had to sleep with window open and no covers as we were so hot. Also there was some inconsistency with the shower, boiling one minute freezing the next. Despite this I would stay again purely on location and room size.
It was a nice hotel to stay in for the end of our holiday. A bit expensive if we had of paid full price but we got a deal so it was value for money.
Breakfast was not included in the rate. The gym equipment needed weights and there was no water in there for quite a stuffy room.
Everything....great location....clean and comfortable. Would definitely be returning to Mercure next time I'm back in Paris.
The breakfast is excellent. The rooms are very quiet and look to be newly renovated. The room is also large for Paris.
The location is close to the metro which is easy to use, but the neighborhood isn't that interesting.
Location to all the Montmartre highlights. Great Eateries at your door step. Metro Place de Clichy 2 min walk.
Bedroom doesn't have enough facilities no where for luggage in most rooms. Left on floor to trip over.
The staff was excellent very helpful Olivier was very helpful, thank you
The check out at 12 pm when you have a privilege room, as othere hotels from Accor offer a 2:00 pm check out
I booked Privelage Rooms at extra cost but found we were misled into believing we were given such rooms. We were supposed to have a large room but ours were much smaller than in photos. We were promised free soft drinks from mini bar but were actually told by housekeeping that we were not in a Privelage Room so we couldn't have any (bit of a giveaway!). The promised view of Paris rooftops was never going to happen from the 1st floor! No iPod stand. Not bad rooms but not what I'd paid for
Location & facilities
Street noise after 1 a.m.
Very good hotel, clean and modern.
The staff are very helpful and pleasent -
Lack of drawers/wardrobe space. Wifi did not work
already sent review.was very happy
location of hotel
Room at hotel, as it was shabby and smelled of stale urine. towels paper thin-in need of replacement
The location - close to all the restaurants and bars in Rue des Abesses, from where you could walk up a series of steps (past more restaurants) to Sacré Coeur. Hotel had almost everything I needed. Clean room, good free WiFi internet, great shower/bath. Wonderful selection of beer in Clichy Tavern just down the road. Could buy an adapter to fit my UK plug in Castorama next door.
Hotel had no character - and was ugly on the outside. How did they get permission to build something so ugly in such a beautiful district? Having said that, on the inside, the hotel was everything I needed. Coffee and beer inside hotel was rubbish, but who cares when Elysium was available outside!
Many thanks to all the personnel at Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré Coeur who made our stay a pleasant and unforgettable experience! We will recommend Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacré Coeur to all our friends a) Great Location b) Friendly personnel c) Comfortable, quiet and clean room d) Crisp, clean and high quality bedding and pillows e) Stunning view of the Eiffel Tower from our room (834) f) Fantastic to enjoy the free soft drinks from the noise-free fridge g) The Nespresso Coffee Machine and selection of coffees are stunning! Because of this outstanding treat, we went shopping at the Nespresso Boutique at Opera, and bought a Nespresso Machine and the full range of the coffees.
Friendly staff Quick check-in/check-out Good breakfast Good internet connection
The toilet is in another small room(it's not in the bathroom) Not much to see on TV if you don't speak French(not even a music channel)
Big bed Wifi was good Friendly staff- spoke English Clean Good service Lovely views
Couldn't change the language on the tv Not many vegetarian options on the menu
Modern, silent rooms. Good fresh breakfast Near Metro Place de la Clichy Parking nearby many restaurants nearby
Location is good, hotel modern and clean.
Staff at reception were slow and inefficient. Having to use IPads instead of proper computers slowed down the whole process. Food and service on the terrace was poor and the beds were incredibly hard. !!!
Very close to the metro and a lot of restaurants and the famous Moulin Rouge.
Noises in the bedroom from top floors.
The staff was very helpful when we had any questions regarding tourist sites. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The wi-fi worked very well.
I would prefer a shower with an enclosed door.
The room was well decorated and kept very clean, everything worked, coffee machine, mini-bar, TV hairdryer etc. Staff were friendly and helpful, great views, although we could not see Eiffel Tower. No trouble booking in and out, lobby was welcoming.
Although was clean, was a little dark, grey walls, red curtains. Did not feel bright and airy. The bed was hard as well, had a backache in the morning and tired from lack of sleep. The breakfast was a little busy, with queues for tea and coffee. I had to make several trips for toast, drinks and I felt quite greedy making several trips.
The staff at Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur were good but we found Olivier, Myriam and the Bell hop (who assisted us when we arrived August 11) outstanding. They were always helpful, kind, patient, smiling, courteous and caring; they ensured that as guests we were well taken care of. They are a credit to the hotel and in our opinion the face of the hotel and superstars! The hotel is centrally located and is ideal for touring Paris via walking or using the bus or trains. Parking is very close to the hotel and so are the bus stops and metro. The hotel is close to a mall, shops and stores, literally door steps away. We are English speakers and found many people willing to help whenever we were in doubt. Touring Paris was absolutely fabulous! We had a fantastic time. When next in Paris we will definitely book Mercure Paris Montmartre Sacre Coeur as we have already told our family and friends about your fine hotel.
Breakfast was good and the food tasty but we only ate there once because of the price.
The location was excellent The room was great (after we got the room we paid for) The breakfast was great (although there were some routing issues on Saturday morning)
I got a room that was not the one I booked (superior instead of privilege) on the first night. We noticed when we woke up some things we expected was not in the room and went to reception to ask on which they let us know this was a privilege room. They also told us it was not possible to get another room. After calling with the Booking.com Customer Service team the hotel was willing to give us the room we booked (privilege). So in the end all was fine although I felt cheated by the hotel in the first place as they thought we were dumb enough to believe this downgraded room option was the room we booked and paid for. Besides that there was a line of people waiting for breakfast on Saturday morning which we luckily passed as we were OK to sit outside. I did not expect a line for a breakfast that is quite expensive (18,90 euro).
