Staff helpful - situation chosen for practical reason, near main line station. We did not know but situation in road with fantastic range of restaurants.
Except for lobby not very warm or cosy - bar dreary - had just stayed at Hyatt Regency for same price and Mercure compared very poorly
Impossible to get a taxi so nearly missed Eurostar despite allowing 2 hours to get from Montparnasse to Gare de Nord...!
This hotel was clean, modern, and with a good price that we found here on this site. We were looking for something near the Montparnasse Train Station, the night before taking off from CDG. They even upgraded us. The bed was so comfortable. The towels could have been a bit fluffier, but they did have bathrobes and slippers, which was nice.
Needs fluffier towels. But, everything else was lovely.
Location to train station and hair dryer very good!
Expensive for size of room
The beds were comfortable and location good. Very close to the metro and to nice restaurants. Relatively cheap considering the generally high prices in Paris.
The hotel, both room and other areas need some renovation. There was also a loud noise from the bathroom ventilation. Generally prefer hotels with a bit more personality and higher standards.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious (for Paris) and comfortable. Location is good for metro access and close to Gare Montparnasse Bienvenue
Only 2 very minor points: I was given a disabled room (presumably it was all that was left) which had a wet room shower - unfortunately the whole shower room floor was soaked when having a shower. Also, I couldn't borrow an iron but the receptionist gave me the code to get into the laundry room where I could iron my clothes.
Location was good. Room clean and a good size for Paris. Not too easy to find if you are lugging suitcases. Also no where near main sights. Monparnesse tower is nice lit up at night, and many good bars close by.
Room size especially bathroom and price
Location Good Staff
Room Facilities Limited Breakfast variety Not catered for Asian travellers Limited value for money
All of it.
Had stayed in hotel in 2013 and found it good, comfortable and clean. Hence decided to stay there again this year. However, the room that was first given to my wife and i was very small and tucked away in a corner. Being upset as i was a repeat guest who had chosen to stay there because of my previous experience which was good, i requested for a change. Happily a change of rooms was made.
Why was such a very small and unappealing room given in the first place? Couldn't we get a better room when they were available, without the hassle of having to ask for a change?
Great location, great staff, very clean rooms, clean hotel.
don't buy breakfast... very expensive.
Their baby crib was broken. We asked for another one but they didn't change it.
we asked the staff to book a dinner cruise for us on seine as it was a birthday celebration. we arrived for our dinner prior to the cruise to find no reservation and the restaurant/cruise fully booked. apparently they booked us for lunch the next day instead of dinner.
Efficient and friendly check-in in good English, room was big enough, especially so for a capital, clean, good bed, as we had a room that was at the back of the building it was also quiet.
Bathroom a bit on the small side, shower very nice however.
Even a standard room is enough large and comfortable. It is only 5 minutes´ walk from Montparnasse station. It is very easy to buy something to eat around this hotel.
Convenient location at walking distance from Montparnasse Railway Station. It is ideal for a night halt if one has to catch a train. Pleasant walk to Luxemborg garden on a summer afternoon!
Liked everything about the hotel.
Close to 2 Metro Stations and well located in Montparnasse, Rue of Theaters, restaurants and nice atmosphere. Confortable beds. Good TV and Wifi.
We booked a room for 3 people and so we paid more for that but when we entered into the room, it was only ready for 2 (third bed was neither opened nor prepared, only towels for 2, ...). No advantage for having a ACCOR Gold Card. The bathtube is too high and slippery. It can be dangerous for certain persons.
THE LOCATION - - THE RECEPTION STAFF - -THE ROOM SERVICE - - -
THE ROOM WAS SOMEWHAT SMALLER THAN MY EXPECTATION.
Easy walking distance to Gare Montparnasse
Hotel very ordinary for 4 star hotel. Mattress was foam on top of base. Bathroom very small, a big man would have trouble sitting on the toilet and not touching the wall in front of him with his knees..
Very helpful staff, we opted for express breakfast at 8.50 euros, comparable with local cafe's. On departure it was free because we are over 60. Very easy to get to from CDG. We would use as base again.
Good, clean hotel with plenty of restaurants nearby. 2 different metro train stations a short walk away.
None to mention except that breakfast got boring after staying there for 5 nights.
Location plenty of good restaurants close by and a very vi brant area.
Not the largest of bathrooms and why such small towels!
location was brilliant
- very good location, 5 min from Montparnasse train station and a number of metro stations - many dining options around - good value for the price compared to other hotels in Paris
- nothing to complain about
