The position and the Tour Eiffel view from my room. The waiting to have the room after the check in time.

Its location was very central, and a walk from the Eiffel Tower. Endless list: The staff were blank and unresponsive; not to mention had no urge to serve guests. Our room was aweful - the bathroom was not cleaned well, the last visitor had left some foul things behind and it was not cleaned. It wreaked. It was overpriced for what it is. Also due to a delay in my flight I tried to shift my booking (72 hours in advance) for one day due to a change out of my control - the Mercure wouldnt shift my booking and preferred to charge me for a night I did not stay. Needless to say for my extra night in Paris I sought out a different hotel.Above and beyond I booked a room with one bed and upon arrival I was asked if I wanted one bed or two and I said one, I still received a room with two beds!

great location, just a 3 min walk from the Eiffel Tower. even less to the nearest subway stop. Also very cheap for what you get in a 4 star hotel. rooms were very quiet (except some construction above us in the morning, but I guess that does not happen regularly). the construction was slightly annoying once you woke up and noticed it. the breakfast for 19.50 per person also seemed a little expensive so we did not even try it (some great little restaurants between the hotel and the Eiffel Tower offer breakfast for about 9 euros from 7 until 12).

Great location near the eiffel tower which makes it very easy to access the tourist buses/boats. In the evening's the location is suprising quiet, so a relaxing stroll around the tower is a great way to end the day. The nearby Ribe resteraunt an excellent place to have a meal or coffee and soak in the Parisian atmosphere.

Like the name states, the hotel was close to the Eiffel Tower, but I couldn't see it from my room. It was just an okay hotel for the price, not impressed.

Only the location. We were treated badly just because we purchased the very least package via booking.com. I would have thought we at least get the minimum of Mercure hotel standard. We assumed that it's cheap because we have to pay upfront but we were shocked to see what we paid for. The bathroom is filthy with mildew and the room doesn't even come with coffee/tea facilities. After that, they came and gave us paper cups, first time in my life to get paper cups for coffee/tea. Dissapointed to say the least.

The lobby and main areas of the hotel were clean and modern. This changed dramatically once on the room floors. Walls were dirty and scuffed, plaster was chipped and unpainted. Large areas around our door frame were damaged, plaster chipped and missing. This hotel is in no way a 4 star hotel. We were so disappointed we moved hotels as soon as we could!

I did not like tha fact that there was no room pre- arranged for me nor did I appreciate being offered a smoking room as an alternative. I did nit like the lack of respect the staff showed when they tried to give me a double bed for my sister in law and I to sleep in.

Very good location, 2 minutes to Eiffel Tower and underground station and Taxi station, and there are a lot of restaurants around the hotel. Upon arrival I got a free ticket to the boat in the seine river. Room is very small, the water heater is non-safe, housekeeping needs to be oriented, they open the room anytime without knocking the door

Location Newly decorated rooms had a very heavy smell of paint. Shower and toilet are separate and in a very small space. Doors to shower and toilet make it very difficult to use closets. No chair in the superior room.

We liked the open spaces near to the hotel. We thought the breakfast to be excellent. A suggestion: non slip mat for use in the shower as the wet floor is slippery.
