I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past under different managements at a much lower price. As the rooms had been refurbished I was wiling to pay the price quoted when I booked. Our room had been refurbished but was very small and the bathroom was in a poor state. At a lower price I would have been satisfied but for the amount charged on this visit I am dissatisfied and will not be staying there again.

Lovely hotel,we asked for a room with a balcony and got one with a view looking over the main train station,it was really nice. Perfect location if you want to see paris, gare du nord metro can get you anywhere. We didnt eat in the hotel but there was a fantastic cafe Aux Ville Du Nord. Great for breakfast in the morning.

Location is exactly in front of the Saint-Michel metro station. Room has been refurbished. Staff are not friendly. Was charged for breakfast, which I did not have. The extra charge when asked was said to be for vat, but vat was already included. I didn't mind the extra charge until the receptionist raised his voice & got irritated when my Master-card did not work, then I asked to recheck the invoice and luckily I had some cash and paid for what was given by Booking.com. Given the hotel above average price, Wi-fi is not free. I was given a one-hour free access upon request later-on for a single device. Aisles to the rooms are very narrow and need to spend sometime to find the lifts.

Location was very good. This hotel is very rundown and tired. The facilities need to be redecorated as almost every wall and corner of the hotel has seen to much wear and tear. The room size was ok but again the bathroom facilities looked very well used.

The location was good and I also liked the food. The rooms are clean and I will certainly be back for another two days. I always choose Mercure Terminus Nordic because it is good for me and it is something I can afford.

It was convenient for the station. The room I had was quiet and I had an undisturbed night before having to leave early in the morning to catch Eurostar. I have stayed in this hotel before and as I was pleased with the hotel for those reasons on that occasion, I booked it again and was not disappointed.

Rooms were a good size and comfortable. The staff was great and friendly. The TV in the room didnt work, but since I was only there for one night and was late in the night, it didnt really matter to me.

Not up to "Mercure" standard. Very smal (& dark rooms), with old (flea market style) furniture, old type ( & chipped) bath tubs, leaky shower hose, chipped toilet seat, no shelves or drawers for storage of personal effects, etc, etc. All that in socalled single room with double bed! Storage in "double room" much better ( shelves + drawers) All other defects as above.

The location - arrived at Gare du Nord. Location for next days meetings. Cost of internet - these days should be free. Also it didn't work - I could receive emails, but not send them. So a waste of money. Internet access is a key selection criteria for me with choosing a hotel. Hotel location, rooms and special price were good. Only because of the internet expereince, I would not recommend it

The location is good for me because I am travel with big luggages so when I take tgv from Lille to Paris I must choose Mercure if the price is under my budget. Every year will travel 2 times & quite enjoy stay weekend in Paris. I like your local Chinese staff, he is so kind & feels comfortable to stay this hotel.

I did not like the location, although it is just in front of "Gard du Nord", the area is full of beggars, not clean & not safe as per the advise of some friends & confirmed by hotel staff. Wifi is not free, TV was not working properly & rooms are too small.

The staff was very responsive & courteous. Breakfast was a great value & they even had scrambled eggs & sausages which you can rarely find in France. It is also a great location, about 40 steps to Metro line 4, which opens you up to the whole city in about 15 minutes. The hallways were dirty & in need of a paint job & the carpets were filthy. I usually like to do yoga & stretching in the morning on the floor when I travel & they looked so bad I did them in my bed. Otherwise the rooms were clean & modern>

The food was really good and the bed is very comfortable. Me and my mom really had a great time there. Plus the hotel location is really good, after we got off frkm Gare Du Nord, it was very easy to find the hotel and it took only 30 mins to get to the CDG airport.

The breakfast is good, the staff is warm People at reception are not friendly. They do not care at all about service, customer or anything, it is a pity for such important's Hotel Chain, coz actually we are expecting a bit better for a Mercure I just felt as if i was staying at Formule 1, I do not think that is fair.....

Location - it's perfect in terms of easy access from Gare du Nord and well connected to the Metro The standard double was just 2 singles pushed together! Not great if you're there for a romantic break.

The bed and cleaning was ok. Location perfect for me. I was completely dissapointed with the bathroom condition, it was in very poor condition. Lavabo, bain, toilet and ceiling , all broken and not hot water. Also the walls broken, never ever in my life I have seen somthing similar even in the most modest hotels or hostals... the price of the internet access for one hour is 7 euros. excesive!
