Location, close to the station. Comfortable bed.
Location and friendly informative staff
The strategic location.
The room was small with.little room to move around.
slow check in room smelt like cigarettes bed was so uncomfortable so noisy, even with ear plugs aircon makes a buzzing noise room had stains everywhere bathroom falling apart worst 4 star hotel
Bathroom door did not close.
Bathrooms were not clean, Rooms were stuffy and poorly lit
It is not a four star hotel. The internet was very bad, room was very small. Shower in the washroom leaks from the handle. Water comes out in the washroom during shower.
Nice buffet breakfast (extra cost but worth it). Big tub, big bathroom, comfortable bed. Nice hotel. Best of all, it is right across the street from Gare du Nord which is where you can board the Eurostar or other trains easily. Lots of restaurants, cafes, ATMs around this hotel. Great location.
A dimly lit room, no light in the dressing table
We went to the hotel earlier than the check in time hoping to leave our luggages, but the receptionist manage to find a room which is available immediately, and its even a superior room! It was a nice upgrade and we enjoyed the stay! The big double bed was very comfortable!
I would say that the rooms and carpets are a bit old and would need maintenance in a few years time.
Great location in relation to Gard du Nord
Good spacious and well equipped roms. Excellent breakfast. Ideal for Gare du Nord
Check in procedure was very slow and inefficient. Due to delays on trains we arrived at 24.00 and still had to wait nearly 30 mins to check in for our rooms
Position of hotel - very convenient for the Gare du Nord. Good restaurants close by. Good bus access to city centre - I prefer the bus to the Metro.
Room not refreshed on the day before departure.
The staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, good location, comfortable bed. We did sleep well.
The room was dark and the decor outdated and tired. Stained carpet, curtains falling off the tracks. The room faced the inner part of the building, not a pleasant place to be, dark even by day. Only a couple of lamps as lighting, really hard to find anything in the suitcase. Luckily we had taken a small torch with us. Wifi advertised as free but only restricted wifi was free. This was one of the most expensive hotels we stayed in and we got the worst wifi service here. It was also slow.
Excellent location after traveling all day. Delightful staff who were polite, professional and charming.
Bar closing at 11pm.
Very close to the station for access to the Eurostar
Neighborhood can be a little sketchy at night
Clean, comfortable, quiet & good location
The location is very good for either late arrivals or early departures.
The room was a little too small, it also was not clean. There was a juice or some sort of sticky liquid stain around the walls, lack of towels, AC unit had a broken door. All in all the rooms needs to be check over by management before being used.
The breakfast and bar staff very friendly and obliging
The room had a very bad smell the bathroom had a strong urine smell and the room a mouldy smell ,the towels are threadbare, the washbasin had stains in it , for a Mecure hotel this is not a good example
The location and the fact you could sleep, except for banging doors.
Tiles missing in the bathroom, stains on the floor, filthy corridors, long black hairs that are not mine in the shower when it was cleaned, having to tell the staff to change the shower gel after it was cleaned,
Direct access to lagare du nord ...just across the street which leads to the charles degaulle airport
It has to be renovated....you feel u r in the 80ies....but for 100$ a night its great as a 4 star hotel
Nice roomsize compare to other hotel in Paris. Cross the street then you can reach Gare de Nord. Very good location. I got a garden view room which is quiet.
The lift is kind of old.
Convenient if u are taking train to other cities. Just opposite the Gare Nord station. The concierge at the hotel was very helpful n friendly, forget to get his name.On the day we checked out,16/10/2014 at 11.20am, we wanted to go to train station to take the train to Amsterdam, he advised us not to go that early as it was not safe waiting for the train to come in . He also helped us to check on the schedule board when the train would be in. We thanked him very much
The hotel is old, need renovation. The carpet in the room needs to be changed.
Staff were supreme-location was perfect!
Room was a bit tiny.
Close to Gare du Nord.
Reception did not give me a message that had been left for me
