Convenient location to metro, heaps of food places close, nice enough room with view of train station, large bathroom
Little noisy, but that comes with the location your in
Good location at gare du nord. Clean room and friendly service staffs.
No fridge in the room.
Excellent location opposite the Gare du Nord. Friendly helpful staff, good nights sleep.
Furniture and bathroom fittings were worn/damaged - although very clean.
Just opposite Gare du Nord station Value for money
The walkway towards to room is quite narrow. It could be dangerous when emergency is happening.
Poor room lighting and ineffective bath plug
-the single room was small but very comfortable and well equipped. i loved it.
With metro downtown is just around the corner. Very good located across Gare du Nord.
1. Location is great - Gare du Nord, Metro and bus stops right outside the door. 2. Reception staff were efficient and friendly.
1. The breakfast room can get very crowded at peak times. At one point, all the plates had all been used and were not replaced. 2. We only had two towels in our room, our friends had four.
Staffs at check in and check out is fast
Room interior and TV is bad
the size of the room , the 2 big windows to the small balcony, the seats and table the view to the station (and a portion of sacre coeur)from 5 floor the tea making facilities
So handy for Gare Du Nord Relaxed atmosphere and staff friendly
A gem of a find. I needed a room for a one nighter in Paris, travelling back home to Scotland after working in Africa for ten days and chose this hotel as it was located near the Gare du Nord with a direct link to Charles de Gaulle airport. The Gare du Nord is far easier to navigate to find the airport train than Châtelet. It turned out to be a quality hotel with a very comfortable bed and well-appointed with free wifi, TV with BBC World News, a large bathroom, excellent breakfasts in their dining room overlooking the façade of the Gare du Nord, helpful and friendly staff and the metro entrance to have access to the centre of Paris in front of the hotel. I paid €89 plus the breakfasts. Try getting that price and quality in the centre of London! Highly recommended.
The wifi reception in the room was not good but excellent in the area where there was a PC. I had to wait from 7 30am till 2pm to get into my room but that is unfortunately normal nowadays even if you've been flying overnight. The staff dealt with the situation well.
Our visit to Paris couldn't have been better, the city ,the people, the hotel and it's excellent location which made it easier for us to discover Paris. My next visit, I'll stay there again for sure.
Good location for Gare Du Nord and RER B connection to CDG airport Brasserie attached is good. Metro outside not much around. Room quiet but I was on the 5th floor.
Free Wifi slow and filtered, no skype or business email. Premium wifi €5 per hour! Breakfast seemed expensive €15 but I did not try it so cannot really judge. Plenty of Bars nearby for a coffee croissant which I opted for.
Big advantage here: location. It's NOT a great part of Paris, but this is not the fault of the hotel, which is perfectly situated next to the train station.
I expected more for a 3 star hotel. The reception staff was not as professional as they should have been (there was a long line waiting to check in while one of them was doing something, who knows what). My room: the bathroom was just fine, but the room itself was small and the carpet was fresh (!) from the 1950s--complete with stains. Not very impressive. Just had the feeling of a place that saw a huge amount of traffic and had given up trying to do better.
Across the street to Gare du Nord Good stuff and dissent restaurant Free WiFi Good connection to Metro and Train
Across the street to Gare du Nord Bad room furniture Old room equipment
Perfect situation. Clean.
The rooms are too small.
We had a train to catch from Gare Du Nord and hence this was a one night stay. The location in this respect was excellent. The hotel is only a few metres away from the platform.
The room itself was not in an excellent condition. The carpet was old and "looked" not in the best condition. The furniture in the room the was also not in the best of conditions. We found a spider in the room, which means that the room was kept to best of standards.
Location nice staff
*The smell of furniture, the bed by example( fake leather or leather) were too strong, you should use a bit of perfume or something *problem to sleep because hard time breathing because of that smell, I had to sleep with the window open, in the middle of winter, in a very noisy location *The fact that the bathroom is very old
Location just across Gare du Nord
Value for money was poor, as for much of the hotels in Paris, which has to be the worst European Capital for hotels (I am French). Bathroom badly needed renovation Room was noisy (street) and cold.
Good location to travel from London via Eurostar
Position and convenience
The grubbiest carpet in any European Hotel in which I have stayef.
