Mercure Toulouse Wilson  

Like the other Mercure hotels we had stayed at, the staff were very well spoken and helpful. It reflects well on the chain itself. The hotel was bright cheerful and well laid out. Very interesting to get to. You need a good gps and a sense of humour to wind your way into any of the old cities.

If you are using their parking, don't take a large car.

Conventiently located, clean and value for money considering the quality of accommodation.

The location is excellent for wandering around Toulouse. Excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. The general cleanliness was excellent as was the room...if a bit on the small side. The room was at the back and was very quiet. Inclusive breakfasts were excellent. The staff were very polite and helpful. We have visited Toulouse many times in the past in various 2 and 3 star hotels and I would rate Mercure Wison as easily the best.

The room was a bit small but not too bad for a short stay. We understood that there would be a small safe in the room which in our room was not provided. It seems that some rooms have this and some do not. You need to tell the hotel in advance if you want this facility. We were able to use the safe at reception. It was surprising that a hotel of this quality did not have a room safe as standard.

The central position of the hotel was perfect for sight seeing. Very close to lots of restaurants, bars, squares, good quality shops. Underground car park offered good security - access okay for the average sized car.

Excellent location with restaurants, cafes, shops etc on your doorstep. We had a courtyard room which was very quiet even on Friday and Saturday nights. The staff were very friendly and willing to help with any problem. We requested more milk to make tea and coffe and a jug of milk was brought up at once, which we then kept in the little minibar provided. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the buffet breakfast has a good choice - freshly squeezed orange juice, cereals, boiled or scrambled eggs plus all the usual bread, cakes, cold meats and cheeses etc..Very pleasant bathroom with large bathtub and overhead shower - usual toileteries of soap, shampoo and shower gel.

Could have done with more english channels on tv but as we were out most of the time it wasn't really a problem. Had to open the window a lot as room always semmed to be hot (even though heating switched off) but once again not really a problem. Overall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

Chambre trop petite

El personal (hablan español y son muy amables) y la ubicación. Y en el desayuno, que en general está muy bien, que puedas exprimir tu propio zumo de naranja.

Algo viejos los muebles y los baños. El olor a desinfectante de la habitación al llegar. Y en el desayuno, el café; pero eso ocurre casi siempre.

Chambre un peu petite pour la catégorie d'hôtel salle de bain un peu vieillotte

L'hôtel est présenté comme un 4 étoiles! Mais il n'en n'est rien! Plafond noir avec des lezardes, joints de baignoire mal faits, flexible de douche qui fuit! Aspect intérieur des années 70! Une seule prise dans la chambre! Petites serviettes de douche, ménage non effectué entre les 2 journées ( aspirateur non passé). Aspirateur dans le hall non passé!
