The location is great, 7,8 mins walking to the palace , many restaurants, bakeries and a supermarket nearby yet is very quiet on a small st. The bathroom is large by French standard and very clean with marble-like floor. Many people complained about the room being too small, actually it's not too bad. We got the room with a triangle shape bay window which is perfect for suitcase. We stayed 5 hotels in France, it's definitely not the smallest.

Staff was very helpful. We wanted to change the room because it was too small. He showed us 2 alternative rooms where we could choose from. Breakfast was very good. We could also park the car for the whole second day in the parking. The shower was cold and rooms are very small

The hotel is well placed for a visit to the Chateau and is in the heart of the old town with easy access to shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and onsite parking facilities were excellent. There was a problem with the hot water during our stay, otherwise it was perfect.

the shower was great, the bed was comfy in terms of flatness/hardness... the bed had an impermeable undersheet which made it feel very sweaty.

Very nice room and great breakfast No bath!! We would have liked the option of a bath as we had just cycled 284 miles but I guess others may not worry so much!! The shower was good just not big enough to lie in!

The hotel was very comfortable. We had a family room for the three of us and it was well equipped and spacious. The hotel was a very short walk from the train station and the Chateaux. There's a lovely Italian restaurant at the end of the street. Working out how to get into the street was a little tricky as there was a new road layout. The garage is very small and difficult to move cars in and out of; you would need to reserve parking particularly if you had a 4x4 as the spaces for these vehicles are limited.

The hotel was central and all the restaurants as well as the palace were in 5 minutes walking time. As with the whole of Versaille parking is a nightmare - fortunately I was able to park my car at the hotel which has an small underground area for approx. 8 cars. I have visited Versailles before & I was well aware of the issues prior to my arrival.

The location was perfect for getting around Versailles, shopping, restaurants and the chateau. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The welcome pack was a most useful gift - small backpack, guide book and snacks/water. The bedroom was modern and well appointed with a great shower room, although overall a bit on the small side. Fantastic buffet breakfast. Parking was extremely tricky in the underground car park and once in the 'garage' we did not feel able to move our car very easily until the end of our stay. Essential to book this as there is little on street parking. Would have liked a comfy chair in the bedroom and proper tea rather than herbal drinks on the bedroom tray.

It was well positioned close to the Chateau at Versailles and there were plenty of restaurants around. The room was so small that we couldn't open our case and had to keep everything packed away. We had to walk crab-like to get around the bed. There was only about 30 cm between the bed and the wall on two sides. The sliding door to the bathroom kept sliding open so there was no privacy. We have stayed at a few Mercure hotels which have been good - this one let the chain down.

Service and sincere reception for English speaking individuals was a breath of fresh air . The decor in the hotel and in the rooms was appealing and clean and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large, clean and inviting. The room hotpot allowed us to enjoy morning beverages while having the street window open for fresh air. The breakfast buffet included fresh high quality food items: sausages, bacon, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruits, pastries, juices, pancakes, fresh bakery items, figs and a variety of organic high quality foods. Breakfast area was inviting and well attended. The entire stay was more than was expected for the price paid. The staff was outstanding in their attentiveness, hospitality and efficiency. Everything was outstanding .....written walking directions from the train to the hotel would be a nice addition

Liked location and friendly staff Poor room for the price, breakfast is much too expensive at € 13 each and is only ok, Hotel seems very small and build to only catch the tourist visiting Versailles. Ok hotel but just too expensive for the quality of room given!
