Set in calm location in central Versailles, this hotel is a one-minute walk from Chateau de Versailles. It offers air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen satellite TV and free Wi-Fi.

An 18th-century building across from the Chateau de Versailles, just a 5-minute walk from Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche RER train station.
Score from 546 reviews Very good
Avoiding central Paris certainly reduced the driving strain although getting the car in through the matchbox entrance to the underground garage was a challenge. The staff were very helpful and showed us where to go on a sunday night when some restaurants were closed.
The room had a sloping step and another step which proved dodgy for the night time pee!
Great staff, Very helpful. A fair breakfast. Coffee was poor. Location is very good, as a vistor to the palace and Paris. Nearby train stations.
The room is a rabbit hole. Nun space what so ever (standerd room). If you are a person that spend alot of time in the hotel you will get annoyed by it.
We booked this room for our family of 2 adults and three kids ( one baby). - the room was so small that there was little room around the two beds and the babycot. - the ventilation is inadequate for 5 people. - the door looks like it should be soundproof, but there are no rubbers around the doorframe so you can hear people whispering in the hallway - typical of not really being interested: we booked in advance so they could have known that we would like to have more than two large and two very small towels in the room for 5 people. - the receptionist could not give us more towels because the closet was locked - breakfast not worth 15 euro per person
location, free wifi.
small room, bathroom.
-Friendly staff -Good location -Quiet and comfortable
Location very good. Polish lady on breakfast Very nice and helpfull.
Room very dirty, dusty, second day no new amenities. Bathroom very dirty. Entrance and lobby dirty. No dnd card availeble. Small stairs on corridor!!! Very poor breakfast. Scary parking garage! Sleepy front office staff.
Modern facility and everything worked.
Car park would not accept my car - too little ground clearance. Concrete needs to be relaid to eliminate the hump. Breakfast was expensive.
When we booked we were not told it was a promotion rate and therefore we were given an old room old very soft mattress and when we complained that it wss not a 4 star room we were told it was only their standard room!
All about 10 mins on foot. Lots of places to eat nearby. Staff were exceptionally helpful, with good spoken English. Our room was compact but bed was comfortable, shower and air con good. Hotel was quiet inside and out: we weren't disturbed by other guests despite room being near lift shaft. I would use this hotel and booking.com again.
Driving to the hotel involves navigating complicated and narrow one-way streets between two main boulevards. Make sure you have a better map than Google's! On arrival we were allocated a very small room on the ground floor which didn't feel secure. The reception clerk readily offered alternatives, which was good. There is limited and rather awkward parking under the hotel (underground), but the receptionist was helpful about access.
Rooms, smoking smell in the rooms although non-smoking rooms. Shower Price of hotel
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast . Parking not as bad as people make out and is similar to any other hotel garage parking.
Room on the small side and a bit of a stale smell . Horrible brown colour scheme all over !
The rooms, although small, were clean, tidy and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful and did their utmost to ensure we were happy during our stay- Would definitely book this hotel again in a heartbeat.
Room was snug but immaculate. Staff were very helpful, we used the main fridge. Butane sure you book your parking slot as spaces are limited and we missed out. Only 5 minutes walk from palace, loads of bars and bistros to chose from all with in 10 minutes walk.
Missing out in a hotel parking space.
Good location for a couple of nights to visit the chateau and fairly easy to park in underground car park nearby if you have a high vehicle.
Our room was smaller than other Mercure's we have stayed at so wouldn't recommend a long stay. The bathroom was very small. We had a back room and there was noise from the flats whose windows were open and overlook the rooms that side.
Convenient walking distance to everywhere. Quiet location. Nice room with lovely bathroom. Friendly helpful staff. Lots of places to eat locally.
What wasn't to like?
Good location for visiting the chateaux. Parking on site.
Very very small rabbit hutch sized bedroom on ground floor looks onto street at pavement level. Means you have to keep curtains drawn for privacy. Disappointed.
Helpful staff, very clean hotel and rooms. Good location in Versailles. On street parking if your car does not fit into the hotel underground car park. Shops ans resturants a 2 minute walk away.
Room noise. Unexplained noises in the middle of the night keeping us awake. Turned out to be a disabled room with electric lift in the room next to us. We were moved to a room next to the noisy kitchen service. To top it all I find I have to investigate an unexplained charge on my credit card.
This hotel was in a good location to the Chateau Versailles. Walking distance. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We paid for parking under the hotel - and we were able to leave the car there while we went to the Chateau. It is a very tiny parkade - but it was secure and it served us well. The room was a good size for the 3 of us. The bathroom was small but very functional and the shower was good. We would certainly stay here again.
Hotel is closed to the train stations, closed to the Palace, friendly staff, clean and cozy rooms, good wi fi service, good breakfast.
Maybe it should have a small fridge in the room. But not really missed it.
Staff were extremely helpful, clean and modern throughout. Good central location (handy for the sights).
Parking/stopping close by the hotel was difficult. Only tiny cars fit in their small car park, super narrow streets and virtually no spaces. Its fine if you are travelling light as there are larger free car parks within walking distance but a mare with 3 kids and tons of bags.
Location great. Good comfortable 3 star hotel
Parking very limited
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff The location for visiting Versailles The delicious and varied breakfast
Had one of those good for nothing tube hair dryers!
