Beds weren't that comfy
The hotel was just off a main road with a metro station at either end. The street had some takeaways, a supermarket, bakeries and restaurants. The hotel was good value, clean, warm, convenient, small - yes, but not prohibitively so. Didn't have breakfast, no need, nice bakeries close by. Would recommend, its a comfortable place to sleep in and you'll be out all day visiting the city anyway.
En suite was small but we managed fine.
Excellent value for money. Great location with easy access to the Metro and Monmartre.
Nothing. It was great.
Nice clean room with comfortable bed. Quiet area near metro station. Free WiFi. Quality bath products.
Very thin walls. Staff not very well informed. Receptionists should speak better english.
Decent hotel to stay at for a 3 day trip! Was very handy that it was close to the metro station! Lots of restaurants close to hotel! Rooms are small but we didn't spend much time there so it wasn't a problem and bed was comfy!
Very small bathroom Safe didn't work Very thin walls
- The close distance to the subway station.
Where to begin... don't get fooled by the pictures, save yourself some pain and get an apartment for the same price... - The staff wasn't very professional, the night we arrived to check-in the guy at the reception desk could not find our booking and was shouting to himself in french (or seemed to me that was to himself) while trying to sort it out, which thankfully did after a while. - The bathroom was VERY small, it was around 2m long by 1m wide, with: sink, toilet and shower. I'm 1,87m (6 foot 1") and could not sit down in the toilet as my knees wouldn't fit against the wall, and my range of movement in the shower was very limited as I was crashing against the walls while showering. - The bed was short, I'm 1,87m. and my feet were going out the bed unless I put my head at the very top of the pillow against the wall, which wasn't comfortable at all. - The bathroom pipes made a very loud high-pitched noise which was waking us up in the middle of the night. - We were made to pay the room before seeing it so we could not go elsewhere after seeing the room... - The cleaning service limited themselves to stretch the bedsheets and little more, things were getting dusty and dirty... - One night we arrived to our room to find we didn't have any towels at all. - It is located on a poor class district, which wouldn't be bad if wasn't because there was barely any light on the street at night and looked a bit dangerous getting to the hotel late at night, the neighbourhood was full of noisy neighbours which were heard even with the windows closed. - There was no ventilation at all on the room, there was only 1 small fan, no AC and a non working heater. - We could hear what people were talking in other rooms, as well as when people exit/enter their room or whenever they used the lift.
It's clean and people who works there are nice
It's a little far from the centre and the rooms are quite small
Smallest hotel room I have ever been in.
5 min to the metro station, very clean room
Very Small room and bathroom
The hotel was very close to local brasseries and the station.
Rooms were good but the 5th floor was very hot both day and night with no air conditioning.
Location pretty convenient - some nice late-night bistros in Place de Clichy. Clean enough, not a bad size for Paris, and well priced.
Location only pretty convenient - getting into the central arrondissements always involves a metro line change. In practice it's a 30 minute journey, and Batignolles is quite a bit seedier than nearby Montmartre and Pigalle. Staff tried to be helpful, but not very knowledgeable - couldn't recommend a restaurant, let alone book one for us. They couldn't even book a taxi!
The room was really good and in a good location.
The staff was great and everything was fresh and well cleaned.
Didn't like the location that much. Thankfully, the hotel is close to a subway station.
Do NOT stay here. Tiny rooms, not air conditioned, with quite the smallest bathroom I've ever had the misfortune of trying to wash in. They only had one iron, which they knew was broken, but hadn't bothered to replace. So I had to take my shirts to a laundry to be ironed. And then had to fight, to get them to pay for it. I repeat, do yourself a favour and do not stay here!
Clean room, friendly staff, close to metro station, towel changing every day.
Tiny room and bathroom.
The staff were nice, it isn't too far off, could walk to the central area and is close to a rather happening area with bars and restaurants, but not too close to hear it.
The room was very small. All TV channels were French.
It's not too far from a bus and a train station, so getting to 'downtown' Paris is easy.
There were maintenance issues everywhere, from running toilets to an unexplainable high pitched ring randomly through the night.
New refurbished bathroom was good and sheets were clean.
Room was tiny, completely different to what advertised on the website, I was very disappointed. I asked for a nice room a sit was my mum's 60th birthday but no one took any notice and we got a very claustrophobic room at the top floor with one tiny roof window. Neighbours bathroom was next to our beds and we almost felt as if they pee next to us. A lot of dust everywhere. Someone left pliers in our room and it was there for the whole duration. I didn't want to make a point on everything to the hotel as wanted to have a nice time with my mum but Very disappointing.
The hotel is clean and well decorated for a small hotel. The receptionists are friendly and helpful
One day our room was cleaned by the staff and when we came back we found our door opened, seems that whoever cleaned forgot to close the door. Thank god nothing was stolen.
A nice hotel in a quiet street. A very good breakfast, nearby the metro.
Rooms were a little bit too small
Good service and comfortable environment no matter inside and out of the hotel. A lot of restaurants out side
I liked the fact that receptionists speak good English and they are very helpful . special thanks to Virginie for her kind support . I had issues with my card but she sorted me out . The hotel is clean with good ambience and feel .
The bathroom needs to be reorganized - to use the space well . As it's us is it's the bathing area is a bit squeezed .
No frills room, great if you're in Paris for a short trip and on a budget.
Our room was pretty small, almost not enough room to turn around. No tea or coffee facilities in room.
No mini bar, a couple of the staff were rude, broken toilet seat
The bathroom is very small
