This is a resort that is still in the process of being built. I knew this before going and understood there wouldn't be any services per se. Otherwise my family and I thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations. It was very clean and an excellent value for the money. It's location is central to many castles and towns in the Loire Valley. The only negative was a putrid odor in the foyer. I believe a family of critters got boxed into the cinder-block walls and died there. I mentioned this to the hotel staff upon check-out. From their response I gathered they'd heard this complaint before but booked the suite anyways! |

It was clean and fairly new, and very good value. It is a resort type hotel, and the parking is a long way from the rooms which is a problem for luggage. The pathways are gravel, the landscaping is unfinished, etc. However, for the price it was a great value in spite of the fact it isn't complete. |

The bedding was excellent. The fact that I didn't know it was under major construction. The unit wasn't complete. |

I knew the hotel was unfinished so no surprise. The apartment we had was compact but very satisfactory for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and of course new so that was a bonus. In warmer weather the pool would have been great. Booking in time was 4pm - 8pm which meant we had to park the car with our bags in while we went sightseeing earlier in the day. Cooking facilities in the room are limited - 2 hotplates and a convection microwave. |

The room is big and very comfortable. You can have your own meals there with the kitchen inside. Very quiet at night and if you have a car is close to many touristic places. As they have not finished the resort, do not expect any hotel structure. It is necessary to have a car, otherwise you will have a big walk to Amboise. |

Lovely new room, friendly helpful staff, Amboise is a lovely town and you can easily hire bikes for cycling the Loire Valley. Would stay here again The resort has not been completed yet- mainly just the landscaping etc, hence the half price cost. For this I was very pleased with what we got. Minus point would be that it's not close enough to Amboise to walk quickly into the town (30mins walk) if you have a bike or car, then it's fine. The website says they hire bikes- they don't, but there are several places in Amboise- we hired from Locacycle- would recommend. A few other things- not that they would stop me staying, but were a bit annoying: the room did not have a double bed- it was 2 singles pushed tgether. The room provides dishwasher and sink, but no washing or dishwasher tablets, so you'd I've to buy a new set for just a couple of days stay=annoying! Towels are provded though |

Nice clean resort, will be great when it's all finished and you can use all the facilities. Near to Amboise if you would like a meal out in the evening. You have to carry your bags from the carpark to your room which is a pain if you're staying for a long time and have a lot of bags. |

The studio/apartment had a fridge and dishwasher, was clean and bigger than a standard hotel room. It was a good location to visit all the surrounding castles and caves. |

It was quiet, clean, and near to Amboise. At night it was difficult to park in the dark, and it was a long way from the reception to the villa with all of your luggage! |

We got a great deal, so we liked that, and the rooms were very comfortable. We thought it was interesting that we were asked to clean our own room and throw out our own trash, or pay for it, and we were provided a trash can that was smaller than a bathroom trash can with no extra bags. We were also not provided dish soap or a wash clothe, though we were asked to wash our dishes. It wasn't that big a deal for us because we were only there 1 night, but I could see it being quite a problem for people that stayed there longer for their vacation. We also didn't feel it to be an international hotel. The hostess was great, and spoke english well, but there were no channels available on their satellite tv other than french stations and none of the instructions in the room were in english. |

The room had a great design and was obviously brand new. The information on the booking.com website was quite misleading. They sell themselves as a 'resort' but it's still in the process of being built!! The main building isn't complete and it's poorly signposted so when you arrive it's hard to tell where the actual 'resort' is. The pool is practically in the middle of a field, very little landscaping has been done. Check in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00am which is unusual for hotels in the region. Also, if you use any of the dishes or cutlery, you have to pay an extra 30 euros to have them cleaned if you don't clean them yourself! To top it off, you're not allowed to drive to your apt. so you have to schlep all of your luggage to your room which could be miles away from your car! |

It's the perfect location to visit the castles. The equipped kitchen brings some independence. They forbid the use of the car inside the perimeter even at the time of the arrival/departure which makes everybody walk 100/200 metres with heavy luggage. For those with babies and small children, this gesture is not friendly or human at all. |

Very good location, very close to the mini chateau site , and chenonseaux castle. We are afamily of 5 people, and stayed in the duplex flat. Everything was brand new, very clean. We loved it. We stayed there for only 1 night, but it's worth stayng in that area, and in this hotel for a few days. The meteor resort was just wonderful, and there is much to do in that area , in the loire valley. |

The studio was well fitted with modern stylish furniture and was clean. The studios are a long way out of town and the site is a building site, no facilities and no landscaping. Breakfast was being served in a portakabin! |

The apartment was very modern, very comfortable, very new and well equiped for self catering holidays. It is an ideal location for visiting the Castles of the Loire Valley, canoeing on the Loire or Cher rivers, or exploring by bicycle. The resort is not finished yet and therefore on-site facilities are, at present, very limited. However, the facilities of Amboise are only 3 to 5 minutes drive from the resort. |

If you plan to go cycling in the forest and eat in Amboise, then the location couldn't be better. There is an outdoor pool (which was great fun with the kids), and the apartments work well, but beyond that the site is unfinished. However, provided you get the discounted price, I think it's good value for money, especially for a family. The general site is 'unfinished', which would have been a disappointment if we'd paid the full price. |

Nice spacious room, pleasant design. Resort not finished. No facilities, no pavement, no terrace or place to sit outdoors, no playground for children. Kitchen equipment incomplete. No airco. Accommodation is only suitable for sleeping. It is adequate as a hotelroom but not as an apartment. |

It's easy access for car travelers, clean, helpful reception personnel, and price. Bathroom is too small and like to see towel hanger in toilet. |
