Au coin du spa, hotel in Boulogne-sur-Mer

Close to Boulogne-sur-Mer Museum, Au coin du spa is set in Boulogne-sur-Mer and has a garden. Complimentary WiFi is available.

Au Coin du Spa was an ideal place for an overnight stay for the family. Comfortable rooms, fantastic shower (and a shame we didn't have time to try out the giant jacuzzi in the bathroom) The lovely staff were all super friendly and helpful. Breakfast, on a sunny terrace, was great. The unique decor was a refreshing change from chain hotels. Parking, for a small fee, was close to the hotel and secure. Location, close to the historic centre of Boulogne, was ideal. I would happily stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Great place to stay. The host family is really nice and we’re very helpful. Wonderful location, within walking distance from everything. Free street parking. Stairs (which some other commenters mentioned) were not a problem at all. If you can walk, you’ll be able to get up there.

We liked the old town but the rest of it was very down at heel and disappointing. It may be the that building work on the other side will improve the area but as we were staying in the middle of the works it was very unattractive

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. The ramparts offer a relaxing an interesting walk and the castle and cathedral a bit of culture.

Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

Boulogne-sur-Mer is a small but pleasant town to visit if you want to escape from the busy city life. We visited Nausicaa, the largest aquarium in Europe! It was worth the drive from Holland! That was the main reason for out trip.

This fabulous house has been beautifully restored by the current owners who are charming and made us feel very welcome. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean; the breakfast was plentiful and of a high standard with delicious homemade jams. The old town of Boulogne-sur-Mer is right across the road and a short walk takes you to the port where we had an excellent evening meal in a great restaurant. We only stayed one night on our way back to Calais but would love to return for a longer stay and to explore the area more.

We liked the fact that there were many towels available. The whole apartment is spacious. There is a terrace in the back (where the kitchen is located). There are shutters for making the room dark. The shower cabin inside the bathroom is big. The Wifi is excellent. The apartment has no living quarters on the other side of the street (there are university buidings). The old town centre is on walking distance. The owner was present when we arrived. The apartment is located on the paid parking/ free parking border.

Our apartment had a front facing balcony with a superb view over the marina and Boulogne itself. It was a very modern apartment and building and, when we visited anyway, quiet at night-time. We were placed on the top floor with two small children which worried me initially but, as I had requested a quiet room, I think the staff were just being helpful by placing us in the quietest part of the Hotel. Overall it was a really nice place to stay.

Valérie is an outstanding host. She made my stay at Boulogne-sur-Mer a very rewarding one. Thanks to her advice I was able to find the best restaurants in town and the best attractions also. Let's not forget that Valérie was born and raised in Boulogne-sur-Mer. Also the check-in and checkout process was pleasant and easy. I would go back to her place without a second-guess and will recommend it to anyone else.

Our family of four received a very warm welcome to Valerie's stunning house in the heart of Boulogne's beautiful old town. Lots of space and beautifully decorated, plus easy free parking on the street outside. The kids loved using the gym equipment and we had a lovely breakfast in the morning before going on our way, taking the scenic coastal route back to Calais on Valerie's recommendation. Merci beaucoup!

The Hotel De Londres is in an excellent location near both the sea and just off the main street in Boulogne. The room was neat and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. There was a small bathroom with a shower. The lady who booked us in was very friendly. Although breakfast was offered, we declined. A pleasant stay.
