Au Coin du Spa was an ideal place for an overnight stay for the family. Comfortable rooms, fantastic shower (and a shame we didn't have time to try out the giant jacuzzi in the bathroom)
The lovely staff were all super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast, on a sunny terrace, was great.
The unique decor was a refreshing change from chain hotels.
Parking, for a small fee, was close to the hotel and secure.
Location, close to the historic centre of Boulogne, was ideal.
I would happily stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Great place to stay. The host family is really nice and we’re very helpful. Wonderful location, within walking distance from everything. Free street parking.
Stairs (which some other commenters mentioned) were not a problem at all. If you can walk, you’ll be able to get up there.

surprisingly a great fishing town better than the flamish Belgium coastal towns , people are tranquil and friendly , food is surprisingly great and cheaper, shoppers would also like it , foodies would love it , hiking and trekking places can be discovered in near by communes , do visit historic museums , fort and castles around also the crypt museum

With only 24 hours, we only saw the old town, which is unspoilt (the most important feature for us of any destination). There were excellent traditional family run restaurants offering good traditional French food at reasonable prices. Great place if you are interested in fishing, sea, seafood. The historical city is worth a short visit. A lot of choice in restaurants and fish shops. Nice beach and waterfront sites. A part of the marina neigbourhoud is under reconstruction, the result will be very nice.

Boulogne-sur-Mer is a small but pleasant town to visit if you want to escape from the busy city life. We visited Nausicaa, the largest aquarium in Europe! It was worth the drive from Holland! That was the main reason for out trip.

Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean; the breakfast was plentiful and of a high standard with delicious homemade jams. The old town of Boulogne-sur-Mer is right across the road and a short walk takes you to the port where we had an excellent evening meal in a great restaurant. We only stayed one night on our way back to Calais but would love to return for a longer stay and to explore the area more.

It was a very modern apartment and building and, when we visited anyway, quiet at night-time. We were placed on the top floor with two small children which worried me initially but, as I had requested a quiet room, I think the staff were just being helpful by placing us in the quietest part of the Hotel. Overall it was a really nice place to stay.
