V.stylishly decorated, comfortable and clean. Staff v.friendly and helpful. Perfectly situated in the centre of Montpellier. Quite noisy outside, take some earplugs if you're a light sleeper! I didn't try the breakfast as it was v.expensive - there are plenty of very nice cafes just outside where you can get a nice breakfast for under 5 EUR. |

This was a very good hotel for the money and located well for the train and city centre. My complaint is not with the hotel itself but with the plaza outside which becomes party central for all the drug addicts and party types who are very noisy throughout the night. If you keep the window closed tight and wear ear plugs, this might work for you because the room was clean, spacious and well appointed. |

Central and very convenient location in Montpelier so that you could easily walk around the centr but also next to tram stop and five minutes walk to the station. Interesting original features have been retained such as old windows |

I found the New Hotel du Midi in Montpellier to be an extremely comfortable and sophisticated place to stay; the design and history behind the building are compelling, and, most importantly, I found the staff to be most helpful and courteous. I would definitely recommend the New Hotel du Midi in Montpellier with enthusiasm. |

Comfortable and clean rooms and surprisingly quiet considering so close to center of town. Would recommend to anyone visiting Montpellier, only 1 min walk to tram and 5 minutes from main station. |

The linens were wonderful. The hotel is very nice for a 3 star. It is right off the heart of the circus, but is quiet and comfortable. Ouer best dinner was in Montpellier. |

The central location is ideal for exploring the old town on foot, or by bicycle. The homeless young people in the city centre make noise throughout the night, which is a downside of the central location |

Fabulous location facing Opera on main square; hotel is a creative combination of creative design in an historic building; room chic and comfortable; I felt like royalty there - it had both French tv and CNN Seems to be a dispute between the hotel and taxi company whose stand is right in front. Train station is 5 minutes away but I had too much luggage; the taxi drivers refused to take me, saying that hotels pays off a competing company for all the long runs. Hotel receptionist didn`t seem to care; I barely made my train, after badgering one driver to take me. This needs to be resolved. |

It was very close to the centre so very good for shops and sites within walking distance. The Comedie carpark entrance was just 100 metres away and the hotel offered reduced rates to it almost half price and parking was secure for overnight stays. There was no restaurant except for breakfast and no tea/coffe making facility in the room. |
