Overall very poor
Excellent location and secure parking was brilliant. Very pleasant and extremely helpful staff. A delightful place to stay
Lack of English tea bags - but hey I'm being picky here
The meal in the restaurant was lovely and our waiter was very friendly.
The only thing we weren't happy about there was no fridge in the room. We had cheese and meat left over from lunch and no where to put it so it had to be thrown out. Being a four star motel with no fridge was a bit dissapointing
Location was great for us and the staff very helpful.
My own fault for booking this based on location rather than inclusions. Room only rate a bit pricey !
Reception. Poor . Dining area poor
Shower screen was poor Good hotel otherwise
Bed was comfortable and Celine the am receptionist who was very helpful and sympathetic, if you read my dislikes you will know that Celine was like an Angel, she spoke perfect English and listened very carefully when I explained my complaint
The pm receptionist Amelie? who obviously didn't like English speaking guests. I had just driven 845 Kms from Calais and was very tired, it was extremely difficult to park by the reception. The Mercure is tied up with the Ibis, so both receptions were adjacent to each other, as there were people in the next reception i automatically went there. Amelie snapped at me, are you booked into the Mercure I said yes and she rudely told me that I should be in the first reception. She booked me in the worst possible area of the car park. I booked a table in the restaurant for 20.00 and sat at a table, I was quite forcibly told that I could not sit there and had to sit elsewhere. I ordered a glass of wine which was the smallest I had seen on my whole trip. I was given the menu and chose a set menu. I was then told that that menu was for business people, I explained that although at that point I was on vacation I am a business man. I was told that I could only choose from the A La Carte menu, it was then that I decided to leave and I paid for my wine on the way out to another restaurant where the food was rubbish.
Everything, locality was excellent
No safe in room.
Excellent friendly staff, after a long drive. Secure carpark with easy access for hotel guests only. Right in the centre of Millau but easy to get to and very close to all the bars. Couldn't be happier with this hotel for service and the staff and really accommodating. Will be staying there again.
The Mercure is in a good location for restaurants and bars etc If you want to go to a restaurant you need to go early , most stop serving food at 10pm We booked a superior room at the Mercure which was fairly basic and poorly decorated. The reception staff were excellent. Breakfast was fair however the waitress was very unhelpful which is not the normal standard off a Mercure. Parking is excellent the Mercure had a private car park you need to book.
Superior room poorly decorated Breakfast staff not very helpful
Central location, private parking and I had a super view of the Millau bridge from my room.
Nothing to dislike.
We were able to take our dog into our room and into the breakfast room. Felt very comfortable throughout our stay.
Quiet and efficient.
Very dated. Needs a luck if paint
Best telly we've had at a hotel. Probably because we usually go cheaper.
The only sure way to park your car is the hotels park, cost 14€. We arrived at 4.00pm, the room wasn't ready, irritating, complementary coffee asked for and received whilst waiting
Loved this hotel - great room with balcony with view of the bridge. Would definitely recommend.
The receptionist on duty when we arrived was unfriendly and not helpful. Otherwise all the staff were charming.
Location. Windows opening onto a very good view of the bridge. Decor of the bedroom, very cool and restful.
Too many sharp corners on shelves in the bathroom rather dangerous.
Great room with balcony overlooking the town and Millau viaduct
Bar prices & breakfast prices
Spacious rooms Excellent town centre location Pleasant bar area Nice staff
Rather mean drinks provision in rooms Breakfast could have been better organised
Restaurant was closed all weekend. Extractor fan in superior room noisy and stayed on all night.
Le concept classe et sans chichis
Friendly and comfortable. We had two rooms both with excellent views of the Millau bridge.
