- excellent location - front desk staff very kind
- breakfast 25€ (18€ indicated in booking.com confirmation) - tv not working - bathroom very old
The rooms are huge and beautiful. A lot of space, high ceiling, chandelier, two big closets, and a huge bathroom. You can walk to the metro station. I stayed for only one night but the room size is great for a longer stay. The hotel in general has a beautiful traditional Parisian decor. It is definitely what you would expect from an European hotel. Although it does not look brand new it looks fine. You will have to pay thousands of dollars/per night for the same type of hotel in their best condition. It provides all of the amenities of the best hotels in the area. The view from my room was priceless. They have a taxi station right in front of the hotel which is kind of nice because the staff tells them where you want to go and you feel safe. I followed the staff's advise and I got on time to catch my flight.
The a/c did not work so the room was really hot even during late hours but to be fair I didn't call the reception to complain about it, so I do not know whether or not they could have done something about it.
Wash rooms are pretty old fashioned.
Great location - central and convenient . The front desk staff were amazing, I will give them 10/10. Room facilities were good. Room size good, breakfast plentiful Overall stay in this hotel was pleasant.
Wifi not to good
The only positive point is the location!
Very old furniture, very limited breakfast, bad service
Left something in our room and housekeeping was very helpful in trying to retrieve it.
Far too few people on the reception desk meant we had to wait ages for simple questions to be answered. The hotel was on special offer and for the price we paid was excellent value.
Poor service, long elevator waits, breakfast not so great, long checkout process, poor internet connectivity.
room, bathroom, lack of hot water, no internet, phone didn't work, worn furniture, fixtures and fittings in room.
*Central to shopping, Opera *Comfortable * Clean
* Food service not as good because of facility upgrade taking place
The Location, Opera being a good area of Paris, and the hotel being located between 2 metro stations, each maybe just a 2-3 min walk. The Staff were generally friendly and helpful, they allowed me a 1 hour late check out, and managed to check me in a little earlier too.
I was a little shocked at the rooms and services for the price I paid (700 EUR for 5 nights). Breakfast was not included in that price, extra 25 EUR per person per day if I wanted Breakfast. The rooms were very small and we did not have enough space to unpack properly. The Standard rooms also come with no views, just a window facing the depressing small 'backyard' in the middle of the hotel. The carpets in all rooms that we had (my group had 3 different rooms) were all very old and bad/dirty, this is in urgent need of an upgrade. The Bathroom at least in my room was extremely small too, and basic bath facilities, also in need of upgrade. They also did not have any irons available to iron our clothes, you would be forced to use their laundry service which is always over-prices as in all hotels. The only reason i chose this hotel was to be together with my other friends who had already rooms reserved there by their work, but This is not a hotel i would return to, especially not for that price.
tired building rooms clean but bathroom fan sink plug etc did not work
Friendly staff,good location
Small rooms,over priced
So easy to walk around from the hotel. Quiet room, comfy bed.
Thought the bathroom could use some sprucing up
Location- close to Galerie Lafayette, Big Bus stop, Opera House and Lindt chocolate shop. Comfortable room Front desk staff exceptionally helpful.
Coffee served in bowls at breakfast.
The location is great.
Wifi was very poor.
The property and especially the rooms are outdated, worn down and in need of a complete refurbishment. (carpets/bathroom/furniture) Breakfast had more actual table cloths and serviettes on the buffet to bulk it out than actual food. The team could not keep up with replenishing the food or cutlery.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast
Well located within walking distance of the centre and Montmartre. Also cloee to several Metro stations on different lines. Comfortable and friendly place.
Rooms are small, but this seems to be typical for Paris unless you are able to pay a lot more money.
The French ambiance and decor of the hotel and rooms. Clean and very comfortable. And the location is so very central and convenient.
Nothing at all!
Location Calm hotel
Old outdated bathroom, many things need to be replaced
Location was excellent and a reasonable price for the level of hotel.
The aircon was useless so don't visit this hotel in the Summer. Breakfast was expensive for what it was and did not serve baguette. What kind of a Parisien hotel doesn't serve baguette for breakast???
small room lobby very tired furniture a bit dated food so so most staff- not great customer service
The area was really nice, very close to Galarie La Fayette shopping centre. Great choice of places to eat close by. Hotel was really clean and comfortable bed. Only ate in hotel once and very nice food.
The area was a great location.... 2 metros either side of hotel.
Very dated bathroom.... Room wasnt very clean! Still had busicuit/coissant crumbs on the table from the previous occupant. Bedroom in need of total refurbishment. hard to get a drink in the bar as bar staff were manning the resturant also.
