I staid for the firsb time in Vence and its a very nice place, and to at this period , with a very nice weather Miramar is with a stunning view the best hotel I know from many time, nice room very clean, with provençale decoration, and good staff
Its a very nice hôtel, stunning view , good staff, clean and quiet . I buy a house in Vence and will recommend this place to my friends
We liked everything about the Hotel and will go back there in Summer Within walking distance to the pretty town of Vence Wifi worked well
breakfasts, especially no fresh fruit other than kiwis,an old fashioned European style hotel with no elevator, difficulty getting hot water
Staying at Miramar has been a wonderful experience! The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the old city of Vence, with friendly and service minded staff and a lovely garden with spectacular view! Room sizes are good, and they are clean and comfortable. We didn't miss a thing! Having breakfast at the terrace with that wonderful view is "a must"! Next time we're in Vence we'll definitely stay at Miramar again!
Beautifully located, with a 5 minute walk to the centre of Vence and a quick drive from lots of other lovely places. The hotel has a gorgeous large terrace and swimming pool, where you can enjoy stunning views. Breakfast is very good, and the rooms very comfortable and very clean. The manager/owner is helpful and friendly. It is a home from home type hotel; very relaxed. We had a lovely time and would certainly recommend the hotel.
We weer very happy with everything at the Miramar. It was a pleasant surprise to find that we had been upgraded to a superior room, the views from which were very beautiful. The room was spacious and had everything we required for a comfortable stay, except perhaps tea and coffee making facilities. It was a short walk into town, where there were plenty of cafes, restaurants and other shops, as well as the charming and interesting old town.
Charming hotel, with paranoramic views of the sea and mountains, great location near the old historic town, nice staff.
Comfort Breakfast Good wi-fi
The Miramar has great character and charm, with fantastic views of the mountains, and is within easy walking distance of the old historic town, many good restaurants and the Matisse chapel.
Our room was above a busy main road. We were also aware of dogs barking throughout the night which made sleeping difficult.
It was just a bit too far out of town when you do not have a car. No dining facilities for dinner.
Staff already forgot to smile. They are extremely arrogant.
I loved the outdoor terrace. It was simply breathtaking. It was a real hidden gem and well worth the drive.
Panoramic view. Free parking (reduced number of places)
Hotel in a charmless area , but is not far from the city. No elevator. The carpet was really dirty. The bathroom floor was sticky and made noise when you walked. The room is tiny, can hardly move 2 persons. The wi-fi practically doesn´t work. The hotel owner charged a second pre-authorization on my credit card the same day of arrival which also charged me the full stay. The garden can only use it if you drink on site. Many conditions for little service.
Stunning terrace and pool with amazing views, great location near town centre, but quiet, relaxing, great staff, comfy bed, nice breakfast. Excellent value. Even let me park my motorbike by the bar :)
Wish I could have stayed longer!
Nice location very close to medieval city of Vence and not far from Cagnes and Nice. Very nice garden/terrace with wonderful views. Price OK (for Cote d'Azur). Hotel has character.
Optional breakfast, at €12, was very poor and hence expensive. Internet patchy, often too slow to be of any use. Hot water not that hot (but OK for summer). Voracious mosquitoes (early August).
Short stroll to centre of Vence and very easy to find (sign posts also). Daniel the owner is very helpful and friendly, speaks great english also. Beautiful view, nice pool and places to relax outside. Good value for money
No negatives really, wifi was a bit in and out in our room probably only thing
Great view from the patio, but mosquitos start to bite in the afternoon
A lot of mosquitos. Buzz around the room at night. Pool not heated, too cold to swim in
location, pool, views, parking
wi-fi was hit & miss, room smelled musty/damp (patches on the ceiling), very hot in room
Located on a ridge overlooking the valley below and the mountains in the distance, the hotel has a wonderful patio which takes advantage of all of this. The walk into Vance proper is about 8 minutes, at most, and was never a problem since the weather was usually good on our trip. And we loved Vance! The hotel is old but with charm. We had one breakfast there during our 5 night stay, and after that we walked into Vance and had coffee and pan-chocolat in town.We took the bus up from Nice, an hour's ride and then used the bus to get around everywhere, and did fine without renting a car.
The room was small, but clean. The wi-Fi kept going on and off, mostly off.
Superb artwork as decoration thoughout the hotel.
Fabulous location, wonderful view over mountains and out to sea from pool, patio and our balcony, short walk to centre. Owner very helpful and great sense of humour. Old world charm.
Wi-Fi did not work
Large and elegant bedroom with panoramic views down to the sea. Attractive terrace with views for drinks and breakfast. Relaxed, family-run atmosphere
The location approx 7 min fron the town center plus the viewfrom the terrace and the carparking outside the hotel.
The hotel is not realy worth the price. Old and Misty. The WiFi in the room did not always work
