The quiet atmosphere, the welcoming staff and the value for money bit. We slept wonderfully, had asked for a quiet room and the reception had honored our request, wonderful!

We have stayed in this hotel many times before when it was known as Mr Bed. We find the location of the hotel ideal for us as it is an easy drive from the tunnel, we often stay at this location on our way down south or if we are having a few days around the local area. We have just a couple of comments not complaints as such. It would be nice to have a silightly larger towel in the room as two hand towels between two people having a shower is a little bit inconvenient and when we came down to breakfast there wasn't any french bread left when I asked for some the receptionist literally brought me two pieces of french bread which I thought was rather tight considering the cost of breakfast. These are just a couple of observations.

It was convenient for the Calais ferry and was suitable for an overnight stay Could have been cheaper. Should have had 4 beds in one room as there are 4 people in my family so we needed to book two rooms for a family of 4

Staff were very friendly and helpfull and approachable. Quiet location from the town which we like, however, transport facilities to and from the hotel was nil. A bus shuttle/or public transport would bring in more customers to the hotel and make it more lively.

We used this hotel as a stop over after the ferry. The room was very basic but was comfortable and clean. No good for people without a car as it is on the outskirts of a very small town.

We stayed at the Mister bed in Strasbourg, we all really enjoyed our stay, so much so we booked an extra 3 nights the staff were extremely friendly and helpful especially Nicolas David on reception he was a really lovely young man very helpful and took the time to answer any questions we had and recommended places to visit he gave 110%,The cleaners were friendly came round every morning to ask if you wanted the room cleaned and if you did'nt you could get clean towels everyday (which were a good size) and toilet roll, soap etc. I like the fact there was a dining table on the landing of the hotel aswell as tables and chairs down stairs that you could use in the evenings we prepared our own basic meals and took disposable plates, cups knifes and forks and brought local produce cheeses, wine bread, salad to eat in the evenings, the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, the staff and other guests wished each other bonsoir and bon appetit which was really nice.About 200 meters down the road is a lovely clean lake with a small beach where you can swim for free also there are showers/ toilets/ car park and a snack stall most days security guards and life guards are around from about 11am to 7pm it's a nice way to spend the afternoon if you don't fancy driving anywhere . Overall the hotel was cheap and comfortable for about £25 a night for 3 people we can't complain we will definately be returning and even felt alittle sad when we had to leave

The price was ok The toilet was not separated from the room. The bed was uncomfortable, The curtain so small that people walking through the parking could see us (including the toilet). Water filtering through the walls.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for an overnight stay en route to somewhere else. I reserved a non-smoking room but it was allocated to someone else before I arrived. I was given a smelly, dirty room and even keeping the window open for the entire duration of my stay failed to improve this. I will not stay here again.

It was very convenient for visiting St Omer, La Coupole, Cassel, Mont Noir, Hazebrouck and the surrounding area. The staff were most obliging and the machines dispensing snacks and drinks very convenient. The use of a microwave oven was also appreciated. The quiet location is an added bonus. Noisy residents - not your fault!! Primitive shower arrangement.

I didn't like anything, I thought the place was a very low budget accomodation which wasn't really relected in the price. In the Uk you can get a Premier Inn for less money and vastly superior acomodation. The breakfast was offered at 5 euro's, the bread rolls were severly burned and you couldn't eat them. All of the above, plus the room is so small plus no where to store clothing, no cupbords, drawers or wardrobe. The bathroom was so crampet that you could probably use the sink, toilet and shower all in one go! I've seen carvans with bigger bathrooms.
