Score from 1369 reviews Good
The location of the hotel is excellent. The Gare du Nord is just 30 minutes away with a direct metro connection and from Paris-CDG in 1h15 with the Les Cars Air France. The Eiffel Tower is also 20-30 minutes away, the Champs Elysees in max 35-40 minutes. The staff is super friendly and nice. The rooms are not very big, but as you are (I suppose) most of the day out in the city, this is not very important. The Wi-Fi connection was good and I didn't encounter any problems.
Cleanliness Decoration of the rooms and bathroom was lovely Staff very friendly Great value for money
Full wifi in rooms great staff beautiful room very clean all was perfect
The locations is very convenient, close to Rue de la Gaite which attracts a local crowd, nice options to eat and have a late drink. Nearby, the Blvd. Edgar Quinet which hosts a beautiful parisian market on Saturdays and an art market on Sundays. Close to the creperies of Montparnasse as well and the beautiful and very parisian Rue Daguerre. The visit to the nearby Cementery of Montparnasse was also a nice experience. Ideal from people who want to enjoy a more local experience of Paris.
The breakfast could improve more. It is not bad, but I would recommend if it is not included, to head out for a boulangerie (nearby in Alesia you can find great ones) and enjoy a more local coffee and authentic croissant.
The location in monparnasse was perfect .. v nice district close to city centre yet better hotel deals ... v well connected via metro lines .. the hotel was small yet clean . The stuff were v helpful and welcoming we asked to check in early and they managed to get the room ready .. would very much recommend the hotel
Rooms is small but this is the case in all of paris budget hotels ...
I love the stuff, the breakfast, location and simple arraignment, which was not chic but comfortable and affordable, they have everything that traveler need...
Location. Near Metro Gaite Line 13. Also Walking distance from Gare Montparnasse. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable. Anyway there is so much to do in Paris, you won't spend much time in your room.
The bathroom was small but the shower was nice and big so no big deal
Very well located, 45 minutes from Orly airport with AirFrance bus, its stop is 8 minutes walking distance. Two metro stations nearby. Plenty good places to eat in the area oppened till midnight. Very kind staff. Nice decoration and comfortabes beds.
Frendly staff, clean rooms.
The room was too small.
staff was friendly and the hotel is close to metro. there is also train station nearby. catacombs are 5-6 blocks walking distance away. refrigerator in the room.
shower doesnt have curtains/door, need to becareful not to flood the bathroom.
Staff made you feel at home, were very accommodating and hospitable. It was very clean.
Size of the room. But we did book a small room, we just underestimated how small!
Nice staff, very friendly, helpful. Modern design of rooms is good. Garden for breakfast is super.
Location, staff, cleanliness, beautiful rooms, all in all it was a beautiful and easy stay - thank you.
The beds in our room were either very hard or very soft, this was the only slightly negative thing about our stay, apart from this it was perfect.
Very clean and fresh newly renovated room with reasonable price. It's always relaxing when you know there's a quality hotel room waiting after a long day in the city. Location in nice neighborhood with good connections. Friendly staff.
Hotel room was quite warm, and because the air-con was not in use it was pretty hot at nights. Although bathroom was newly renovated and very nice, the floor was wet all day after one shower.
Paris is expensive.
loved the warm cozy homely feeling it gave. Kitchen is open to use by guests 24/7 for basic purposes, hot water, rinsing, etc.
right after the entrance door there are eight or ten steps, barely enough space for a baby stroller to fit in between and you have to lift and carry the stroller up until the reception desk. One small elevator. Quite narrow corridors. Maybe because the building is very old that has been restored as a hotel.
Beautifully bright and spotless modern room. Probably the quietest room in a large city that we have ever experienced! Discrete but courteous and friendly staff. Far more pleasant to stay at than places twice the price. Breakfast not cheap but with excellent choice. Overall excellent value for money. Easy walk to Gare Montparnasse.
Nothing about the hotel itself, only that there are few restaurants nearby.
Staff Price Cleanliness Confort Atmosphere
Nothing to point negatively
Everything was perfect, amazing hotel in this price range. Very friendly staff, great location, Small room but very ergonomic
Pillows could be softer and more confy
We liked the staff as they were perfect plus WIFI in the room. Great Hotel.
We had to leave this great hotel.
Helpful staff, nice selection of breakfast options, convenient to public transportation.
Address given on printed copy of reservation "did not exist" according to taxi driver.
Hotel was super nice! The staff had a room ready for us hours before check-in time! The shower was the biggest we had encountered during our honeymoon which was a treat! Comfy bed, and front desk offered to stamp and mail our postcard free of charge when asked about a post office in the area! Metro stations are about a 10min. walk away!
It was a little far from most things we wanted to see but we were totally aware of that and is probably the reason why the room didn't cost double the price that it actually did!
Very nice experience.
Aircon was noisy and therefore did not use it. Opened the window which was not too bad because the hotel is on a quiet street.
The location of the hotel is quite convenient, being close to the Gaite Metro stop as well as the led Car terminal from CDG. Both room and bath are very compact but efficiently laid out and functional. The air conditioning works wonderfully, takes minutes to cool down the room so it's always comfortable. The rain shower comes in a large stall and works great. Too bad the shower doors cannot close tightly, leaving a big gap that leaks water onto the floor. Breakfast was great inside the sun porch, feels very homelike. Very enjoyable too.
I would have preferred to book a slightly bigger room.
excellent breakfast, friendly staff, location, Papa's restaurant nearby. Walked to Eifel Tower and to l'Observatoire and to Denfert Rochereau. Gare Denfert is a single and direct train ride. Easy trip.
The bed had a heavy comforter and no top sheet. Sleeping was a little uncomfortable as a result. But, very quiet.
