The owners were knowledgable and offered excellent advice for cafes and sightseeing. They were welcoming and delightful. The best stay of my month long trip The walk to the old town was 15-20 minutes, but could be easily driven for closer parking

The hotel staff were super helpful with providing information about the city and helping us with our trip planning. They looked up bus routes, contacted taxi's for us, suggested places to eat and helped research hotels at our next destination. The room was a reasonable size for the price and the little patio we had was a nice surprise.

The room was big and the staff was friendly, gave us a map and explained everything we asked. The bathroom is ok, but the shower box was really small. The room was bit cold, even with the heating on.

The owners were extremely friendly, helpful with restaurants, interesting places, dangorous places not to go etc. The breakfast was good, actually more than good. the hotel is a pleasant surprise.

though 2 stars, the service of the hotel is superb. The staff is very informative and helpful and show us a very memorable but practical plan for spending two days in Avignon. Also very good room condition. The location is okay and takes about 15mins walk to the old city.

We can't possibly recommend this hotel enough. It's run by a young family (father, mother, infant). They were the friendliest, most helpful hotel staff we ran into on a twenty one day tour of France and Spain. Kept the desk open late to allow us to check in after we were delayed by logistics, offered loads of great advice about restaurants and attractions in the city, future destinations (and how to get there), etc. I mentioned to the guy behind the desk that we intended to head to Spain after Avignon, he gave me some advice about how to get there and where to go first, I thanked him and headed up to my room - he called my room ten minutes later and laid out a detailed logistical plan, times, train numbers, etc. to get where we wanted to go. He had been researching our logistics since I left the room. Staff didn't charge for WiFi, gave us a larger room than we had booked, cleaned the room every day. Fantastic experience, highly recommended. Book here.

Air conditioning was very good. Staff were really friendly. Room was clean and had everything that we needed. Quiet; no noise from other rooms or the street. Terrible location; in what seemed like quite a run down part of town and at least a good twenty minute walk to the outside walls of the main city, taking at least thirty five minutes in total to reach a central square, and we are two young and fit adults. Not a walk I would recommend in the heat of Avignon or after dark. It was inconvenient for making any trips back to the hotel once we had gone out for the day and we didn't feel like we should walk back through the area at night. Not good value for money considering how much we paid compared to other better and cheaper hotels in neighbouring cities during our holiday.

Staff were friendly and relaxed. It quite quiet despite being near quite a big road. If going to see shows at the Festival its a bit of walk back at night as the buses stop at 8pm, and taxis are hard to find.

Price was very good and staff were very friendly. Bit far away from Avignon centre. However this was not a large problem as there was a bus and it could be walked.

The price. We forgot our keys for the outside door and thus were locked out all night, since it is a small hotel and reception closes at 9pm. Although it was our fault for forgetting the key, we wanted to suggest to the hotel manager that a phone number should be available in case of emergencies. She got very defensive and was a bit rude towards us.

no door for the bathroom, very far from downtown!!! if you don't know avignon you might think like me, being "only" 1km from the city walls is near the centre, but you need your car. no restaurants in the area which isn't a nice one either! It's the first time ever that I was disappointed about a booking I've made on booking.com

I got my room for 58 euros which is not a bad deal. The hotel is indeed noisy but should not be a problem if you are a sound sleeper.

Dogs allowed in the room. Vile "hotel" in a vile neighbourhood. Staff is incapable of giving you directions to get there. The neighbourhood was noisy and scary at night. We couldn't sleep at all. The air conditioning did not work propperly and the room stank for a few hours. Very far from the city center. I would never recommend this place ever.
