The rudest ever the manager upon my check-in Once she speaks to you, you realize that any staff of a starless hotel is much more nicer and more professional than her.
We were asked to pay €300 in case of any damage on arrival which wasn't mentioned beforehand! Not by booking.com or the hotel. In actual fact booking.com told me that they instructed the hotel to refund me immediately which they didn't and on my return booking.com said MMV were in their rights to do so after telling me something else initially. Last year there was 3 of us so this year We booked a junior suite for 2 for €400 more than we payed last year and got a lot less! We were told this was because we had premier cleaning when on one day they forgot to clean our room! The replacement pool is a joke( it's a blow up pool in the tennis court). We were offered a 30 minute massage because the pool was broken but it only lasted 20 minutes! I requested a room with a view of the lake 3 months in advance & we were given the worst room in the complex( ground floor next to the main road with no view).surely in that time I should have been told that my request wasn't possible! We hired bikes from the hotel, went to make lunch & when we came back the bikes were gone! We thought they were stolen but when we went to reception we found out that they rehired our bikes!?UNBELIEVABLE( can you get any more unprofessional?). During our stay we only had wifi in our room for 1 day out of the week despite 2 engineers coming to sort it out but the staff on reception were very inadequate & very under qualified to deal with any kind of issue. If you read my review from last year I gave MMV a top rating but this Year I'm afraid it scores a big fat zero. During all this carry on I liaised with booking.com and got no support whatsoever. In fact on our return we were offered a measly €20 for our troubles... One can only pass on their own personal experience each time they travel & as a returning customer I can't believe MMV would treat anybody the way they did us. We were simply told to blame booking.
We arrived at the hotel approx 11pm and there were 4 staff on the desk. The check in took approx. 20 mins and at no point were the staff very welcoming or give some idea why this is taking sop long. We were the only people in the reception area. It’s one of those situations where you immediately don’t get a good feeling about the place. The young man who was meant to help us with our bags pointed out that I should prob put my bags back in the car as I will need to drive down to our apartment. This was really annoying and a sign of things to come. We had a number of issues with this resort and would not recommend it. Heres why: The large pool and all of the pool services such as the bar and restaurant down there was closed. Even though the large poster outside the resort shows the picture of this vibrant buzzing complex it’s actually pretty dead in the resort. We were advised that the hotel was full but we really didn’t see that many people. We couldn’t get a clear answer on why the hotel main pool was closed but grounds people said it was something to do with the pools structural damage. We were offered a free pass to the splash park but that not the same really. Id have to say though that the worst thing about this resort is the customer service. I have a few examples. i) When arriving at any time in the reception area the reception staff do all they can to avoid eye contact. Im convinced its just in case they are asked to do anything or help in some way. ii) Our first night was a cold and uncomfortable one as we only had one duvet which we gave to the kids. When I phoned reception (granted it was just after our late evening arrival) I asked if there should be 2 duvets which he replied yes. I stated that we only had one and could I collect another. The answer was no. I cannot do anything to help. This was going to be a common theme. I asked could he contact someone? Could he pass a message on to morning staff? Eh No!
The secure underground car park and the ease to get from the car park to your floor in the resort, without having to go outside. Easy to tour the coastline and a good location for the golf course a few minutes away. Good clean room.
It was a huge disappointment to be told at reception that we had to leave a €300.00 deposit with them before we were given the key to our room, in case we damaged it. It was also disappointing to find out that what was called a junior suite was in fact an apartment. When we questioned the front of house staff and then the manager about the deposit we were told in no uncertain terms no deposit no room key. There was no mention of a deposit on Booking.com website and there still isn't!!! We had already paid for our 2 night stay so had to cough up the deposit, be warned. We arrived on a cold day and we wanted to put on the heating for showers, but it didn't work, so we asked at reception and were told that it was too early in the year for the heating to work, it was only air conditioning! The restaurant was cold and uninviting both in temperature and atmosphere, although we ate on our first night and the food was good. The next restaurant is about 7 mins walk away, and there is only one, which is very good, but other than that if you want a bottle of wine your snookered!

Buffet quality is not great
Situated next to airport. The hotel is not a 4 Star hotel. We ended up going to another hotel. The main pool was out of order for the summer and they failed to mention that untill we had arrived. We had booked a junior suite and the standard of the rooms was very poor. We are never going back.
wifi is slower than my first modem back in 1990 piscine was closed, no animation in swimming area, no drinks, no ice-cream etc... air con not working
Lovely walk along the river to the beach. Lake setting is wonderful. Very quiet at night. Children loved feeding the ducks, fish and terrapins in the lake. Friendly helpful staff. Bikes for hire by the day.
A shop on site would be useful as they're self catering apartments. The pool being closed is an issue that needs resolving ASAP. Paying to park your car is ridiculous when you've paid £1100 for a one bed apartment when there is loads of free parking in the area. We had a superior room that overlooked the golf course which you couldn't see because the trees/weeds were over grown and made the balcony dark. No where to dry towels or swimwear as balcony got no sun at all. Wifi in the rooms didn't work even once. They need to look at Center Parcs if they want to improve facilities. The day it rained there wasn't anything indoors to do.
We have stayed here before, so we knew what to expect. They have a great swimming pool and connected lounge/restaurant area. This is by far the main reason to stay here.
The main reason to stay here (the swimming pool and its direct area) was closed. I was told that there was an earth quake 5 months ago (!!) so that was the reason why it was closed. So after it takes over 1/2 a year to repair damage? All guests could get in return for this issue a massage of 30 minutes...??!! So that should be same value? Explain that to your kids..

The hotel has a nice location in front of a lake
It wasn't a hotel at all but rather a reception with little apartments strewn far and wide around a lake. Dont go there if you have mobility issues as it involves huge walks to get to reception etc. The whole place felt tired and a bit dirty. The apartment was profoundly depressing. Roasting hot. There was a mobile air conditioning unit which had a large pipe to ventilate which hadn't been installed but rather left hanging out a french window. The pipe was so large the hot air from outside just poured in anyway. The shower room stank of urine. We were too scared to use it. The car park under our apartment had a very low ceiling. We had to be careful not to scrape the roof of the car getting in and out. Wifi didn't work in any way. We left after one night despite paying upfront for two. It was worth it just to leave.
Apartment was adequate. Some of the staff were absolutely lovely- really helpful. The small shop in the hotel was convenient, but very pricy. Food in restaurant was nice, but very pricy. Every place was spotlessly clean
Staff didn't give us adequate information on arrival , on our final day we were told we could have got a scuttle bus to a number of different locations - on arrival we were told we could get the scuttle bus to the beach only. excursions were advertised in room, yet when I asked at reception they said the hotel didn't do them, the main swimming pool was closed, yet when I was booking I had called the hotel and was told it would be re opened at the time we were booked in. It wasn't. There was a temporary pool there, which was the same depth throughout. This posed a problem for our youngest child who is just learning to swim. I got a splinter of wood in my foot from the temporary decking, and on more than 1 occasion I witness children slipping on the decking. The hotel shop had extortionate prices, ie a bottle of coke was €3, in the supermarket it was€1.80'. Small jar of coffee was€5, in supermarket the same jar was€2.30. I think there may have been bikes available for hotel residents @ the hotel. But we weren't informed about this, In this hotel, with4 stars, it was our 1st time not having the rooms serviced each day. One staff member was most unhelpful, and rude. Another was just not helpful to us. All others were really nice and helpful. The location. It was not a convenient location for our family. The nearest restaurants, other than the hotel restaurant were at least 20 mins walk away. The bus stop was 10 mins walk, the supermarket was 10 mins walk, the train station was 40 mins walk, all ok, if not travelling with 4 small children in high temperatures!!!

Swimming pool that was advertised was unavailable throughout the holiday and had been month's prior we we're very diss appointed we were not notified. No view from balcony just tops of trees 1 metre away.

We booked a room with a 600m2 pool and view of the lake or the golf course. We were not informed that the pool was under renovation at booking.com or on the hotel's web site. We complained regarding this to booking.com and first then the text regarding the pool was updated. Further to this there was no view at all. The internet connection was extremely bad. We tried to change our booking but there where no flexibility from booking.com or the Hotel regarding this. This was not acceptable.

We found when we got there, we were paying 50% above the standard rate. Some senior staff were inflexible. The swimming pool was closed. Although there are 2 bathrooms there was only one toilet. Very limited choice of menu on the first night

Not much I am afraid. Except the shittle bus into cannes which was prompt and with good driver.
Poor level of training in the staff Poor service levels (one night we had drinks, went out for three hours and when we returned three hours later the empty drinks were uncleared from the table) The swimming pool was out of action and there was no apology from them. nor warning from you at Booking.com - surely you had had this feedback?
It was clean and reasonable.
It was just too far frpm Cannes City center. Transport to and fro is poor. You cannot find a taxi for love or money and have to walk to the bus stop which takes 10 minutes from the hotel. There were issues with the WiFI and internet connections.
I like the Spa and the staff. The rooms is big. Nice sound proof.
The internet connection, I need to enter the user name and password frequently. TV channels quality and variety are not suitable for 4 star hotel. No coffee or tea in the room. Breakfast variety is limited.
Service need to be improved and better food needs to be served during breakfast.
