When we arrived at the hotel, they told us that we couldn't stay at the hotel, but at an apartment not too far away from there. So, we did not stay at the hotel, which is not a good thing, since I made a reservation for the specific hotel, according to the reviews and the pictures of the booking.com. However, there was a big advantage at the whole situation: The stuff was very kind and made everything easier. Plus, the owner of the hotel proposed to make us a more than 10% discount, to compensate for the inconvenience that caused us, which I think was pretty fair. Also, the location was very good.
I repeat, we did not stay at the specific hotel. About the apartment: it was generally ok, but it was not as clean as we would wish it to be. For example, the floor was crystal clean, but the walls were dusty. Furthermore, the toilet of the appartment was a bit smelly and that bothered me pretty much, because the main reason I chose this hotel was the picures of the bathroom on booking.com. As I said though, the owner made us a discount for the inconvenience.
The location was good (we stayed not in the hotel). Because our hotel room was changes to an apartment, we got breakfast for free in another hotel. The breakfast was quite good. The bathroom was clean, large and clean bed.
First of all when we came to the hotel they told that we will live in the apartment about 10 min. from the hotel. It's good that we were only with the backpack, because we had to walk up the street (quite vertical) few times to get there. With the suitcases it would't be pleasant experience. The apartment was very tiny but I guess we couldn't expect more in this Montmartre location for such price. The place was smelly, molds on the walls and in the closet. Very bad sound isolation, you can hear neighbors talking and one night they were having a party, so it wasn't the best place to rest. Also we had misunderstanding with the payment. In the booking info were written that we'll pay when we arrive. The guy in the front desk said that we should pay when we'll be leaving in the hotel where we were having breakfast. We asked few times just to make sure we understand each other right. The last morning we went to pay the front desk girl asked are we sure that we didn't pay earlier. We confirmed and payed. Her reaction looked strange so we checked the bank account during breakfast and it showed that the hotel had frozen the money for the staying during the days we were in Paris (so, kinda we payed twice). The administration was nice, ensured that the money will be "un-frozen" the same day but they stayed frozen for 2 weeks more.
clean, comfortable, everyday staff cleans the room, helpful staff
wifi works only at reception
Location was good. Lot of restaurants n bars near y Very near to metro and bus stop Staff was good
Wifi only in reception Average breakfast No room cleaning for long stay
Very noisy, I booked for 3 nights but I staid only for two sleepless nights and I change from hotel. If it is possible, a want my money back or at least a part of it. It is not cuz it is chaep that the client doesn't desirve respect. I booked always via bookings and never send my opinion but now I can not stand it to do it now. Best regards. DB
internet access only in the lobby rude staff at breakfast (bread was served for each guest individually on a coffee plate)
Location is geat and looks safe at night too, Metro station is aroung 100m, the neighborhood is quiet good (restaurants, shops, pubs everywhere), there were big life on the street at late night too. (It can be loud at summertime, when you leave the window open). The staff was kind and most of them speaks english. The breakfast was included in the predicted price, so it was a good surprise for us (normal continental breakfast, fresh bread and croissant with coffe, juice, etc.) The room was ok for a few sleep, the bathroom was renewed and clean, they cleaned the room every day, changed the towels, etc. The elevator works, and on 2nd floor the wifi is also works on notebook (not with phones).
The room was not so nice, it was ok, but the walls were a bit dirty, the carped was stained, so it needs a renovation.
Very comfortable room. Good breakfast. Happy travelers. Happy staff. Hospitality.
Could have benefitted by a computer for internet for visitors.
Great location, near Metro, restaurants, etc.
Person at desk failed to reserve the shuttle bus for the airport when I asked him to 2 days before. I confirmed night before and had it reserved at that time.
No wifi in the rooms, only main floor Elevator did not work for half our stay of 6 days, 20 stairs per floor - 5 flights up! Noise from the street Rooms need re-doing, modernized
very good transportation
everything bad in the hotel...dirty walls, damaged furniture, carpert was smelling bad, wouldnt recommend it
Wifi generally didn't work in the room
Personal good, good zone
Internet was no able in the rooms
Near to metro, clean. Simple hotel in good location for reasonable price. If you just want a place for sleep, you will be satisfied.
Maybe it was just about one room, but it was really hard to get fresh air. Breakfast was included, but really, really simple (if you love croissants and cafe, it is for you!)
hospitable staff with pleasant and helpful attitude. location was near the metro and bus station, but in order to go places of interest we had to choose one of the mentioned means of transport. You can walk tourist attractions in Montmartre region. Breakfast was ok, but very limited. Generally it deserved the payment.
Only bad thing was the internet. It was working only in the reception, not in the rooms.
15-20 minute bus ride to Eiffel Tower, 25-30 minute bus ride to Notre Dame Cathedral, amazing location!!
Breakfast was 5€ for coffee, orange juice, baguette, and croissant! Not worth the money
The hotel canalled my booking without informing me in advance,
the personal was nice and kind. It is well located and the price was acceptable. We did not expect too much, 'cause the Hotels in Paris are generally very expensive and old.
We had two rooms. In one of the the bathroom was not totally clean and also we did not notice that one of the pillows did not have a cover. Only in the reception, it was possible to use the WiFi
On arrival staff were very unfriendly - check in was late and elevator was broken
the hotel staff where very helpful the hotel is only 10 mins on metro from nord station
Great location within walking distance of Moulin Rouge.
Hotel is losing its luster, but has all the basics and was very clean.
