We took a short visit to Cote d'Azur and since we spent the whole day sightseeing we just needed a small room for the night to sleep at for a reasonable price. Even though the room is tiny (as it was written in the previous reviews), it perfectly suited all our needs. Its location is unbeatable, close to the beach, bars and restaurants and it was a pleasant surprise that we got a better room with a balcony and a sea view than the one originally booked. In this respect, it even exceeded our expectations.

This hotel is in central Cannes, 140 yards from the Boulevard de la Croisette and the beaches. The air-conditioned rooms feature free Wi-Fi and private bathrooms with hydro-massage showers. Each guest room at the Modern Waikiki Hotel has a balcony and is soundproofed. They are all equipped with a refrigerator and a TV with satellite channels. The staff at the Waikiki can welcome you in French, English, German, Italian and Dutch 24 hours a day. The Waikiki Hotel is just 66 yards from the luxury boutiques of Rue d’Antibes. The Gare de Cannes (train station) and the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, where the Cannes Film Festival takes place, are just a 5-minute walk away.
