Location, cleanlines, bathroom and simple room but comfort..all perfect for me and sure will be back again next time visit Paris..Republique just a few step from the hotel that means Many great place to eat !!
Smiley staff from day to night, clean place, brand new, close to Republique
A night duty guy's friend, talking loud on his cellphone right in front of the hotel (narrow street) after 1pm :)
The room was basic but clean & decent, with a good bathroom for the size of the room. Internet worked pretty well, which was an asset. The staff cordial, gentle, and service oriented. It is very basic, but it fits quite well the purpose of an accommodation for a few days in Paris.
The reception area is extremely basic. Once having spent the first night, one can cope with the absolute absence of frills -including breakfast-, but it is manageable.
The hotel was incredibly cheap for a three-night stay, especially in an expensive city like Paris. The staff were polite and helpful at all times, and they offered to arrange a taxi to pick us up from the hotel abd drive us to the airport. The cleaners provided clean towels everyday. The hotel is close to Republique which has good eateries, cafes, and entertainment, as well as the historic square.
The actual road - Rue D'Aix - stunk of urine which was most unpleasant, and late in the night one could hear drunks out on the road.
great free wifi and very nice room. Clean and tidy. I had the best sleep.
no breakfast but i walked around the corner and found what i needed
Small but with a good use of space. Just one block from the metro station. Nice music on the lobby.
No separation between bedroom and bathroom in single room.
Location is good. Just next to a metro station. Easy access to all the main attractions in the centre. The room is functional.
For a short staying, with necessity of overnight sleeping, an amazingli well located hotel, for a low price, when in discount.
Clean room and good hospitality. I staied top floor where has in bustub that is very comfortable for me. And especially, woman receptionist who taught me the best way how to do everythng . I mean transportation so on. Also price is nice for me.
I went to this hotel at very late where to go utilize taxi although we lost. I couldn't find it easy.
Location was good. Staff helpful and friendly.
Bathroom was too small and water was leaking.
clean, the staff, very modern decor nice!
no ac they are working on getting a new system we had a pipe leak after it rained staff put us in another room so that was a plus bathroom was very tiny I had to sit side ways so the door would close.
Location Clean Personal
We got first a room that was really bad, i don t know why...is the room downstairs on the left side..very dark and with no view
Some staff was good and helpful.
Some staff was good and helpful, some was not at all. When I arrived at the hotel I was told I had no room, even though the reservation was confirmed and it was not possible to cancel that. Surprise! No email was received or SMS. They offered to go to another hotel, which was miles away from the one I had the reservation. No taxi was offered, enven though hotel MUST pay for the taxi in such case. I refused to go to another hotel by metro, far away from the centre, almost at midnight. Had to find another accommodation immediately. However the helpful staff next day said I will not have to pay for the last night. Then at the day of departure I was asked to pay for 2 nights (stayed only 1), including the one I was kicked out. Rude and very unprofessional! Somebody did not do his/her job. No communication between staff. So another 3 calls. Finally hurray! Only one night payment. The Air Conditioning was not working in the room. Very noisy as the room was facing the street, can not keep windows opened, but otherwise very hot! No Wi Fi in the room, only at the reception, even though its written on booking.com that WI FI is available in all areas. Not true!
The hotel is less than a minute's walk from the closest metro station.the room was good and clean.Attentive staff, everything updated and nicely. Gorgeous room design.Excellent Service.great lobby space .
lack of air conditioning and location of room next to an internal patio (not very appealing)
Nice hotel very good located very clean and good rate
Aircon Bath tub Location
Very close to the metro station.
Nice staff Clean Very good location Very calm (small street) I slept with opened windows
Air conditioning did not work Room quite small (but price is fair)
Pleasant staff and easy access to the metro.
Shower wasn't the cleanest. Would have liked to have cups to go with the hot water pot.
The design was very nice and modern. The room was cleaned and tidied every day after we left the room. 2 minute walk from a metro station. Very convenient if you're travelling by Eurostar, it's station is only 4 stops away with a metro. Disneyland is quick to get to too. You only have to change trains once. Surrounded by small cafes, corner shops and restaurants. Very convenient. Very quiet area even though its close to a hospital, you don't hear anything. The people in the hotel and the locals were very nice and helpful and most spoke english very well.
The wifi signal wasn't the best. I'm not sure it could of been my phone trying to automatically connect to the strongest wifi but I never had a constant stable signal. Except down at the reception. As there are 3 different wifi broadbands you can connect to. But wifi for me wasn't a priority, the cafe around the corner and most cafes and restaurants near by had wifi anyways.
The hotel is quite modern style e.g. open bath room, which did not disturb me since I was alone but someone may want some more privacy in special situations in a bath room... Otherwise I liked the interieur, though the air condition was not working but the temperature in the room was okay for me. Typical Paris hotel with lots of bed in your room. There was a comment about the area being a bit dodgy. Certainly this arrondissement is not the poshest district in Paris but quite multiculti, esp. on Place de la Republique, so you see lots of different people. The main street (Rue de Faubourg du Temple) is full of Chinese clothing shops, so feels a bit like China town. But during my stay I never felt unsafe walking around there.
The reception desk looks a bit like some ad interim-installation but I guess it is meant to be like that.
The room looked exactly like the pictures and the staff was quick to help with any and all issues.
The woman working the front desk when we checked out didn't speak English that great and was unable to give us good directions.
The rooms were clean.
A great deal. The furniture in the reception area was dirty, the desk is literally that - a young woman manning an office desk - and the reception- area toilet is tiny, with a bath mat for a towel; terrace is a poor joke - about 14 square metres of green, synthetic 'carpet', with a stack of rubbish and cleaner-materials in one corner and a room in another. It smelt bad. There is no bar or dining area, and we were told that, if we wanted to make tea in our rooms we had a kettle (provided), but we had to provide our own cups and teabags (which were 2.50 euros - no, not a typo - each in the 'reception' area). The rooms had Ikea-type bathrooms built in. It wasn't possible to close the door and sit on the toilet at same time. Consequently too room became very small. Most peculiar toiletries provided (tiny tubes of 'hair gel' and packets of soap of cheapest kind only). Situated on a side- street, every evening there were arguments night-long below the window and room too small to comfortably close window for the night. No proper entrance to hotel - just a sliding door that the 'receptionist (if s/he were there) opened into the dirty reception area from 'desk'. If receptionist not there, there was a space where bell had been, with wires hanging out - ie no bell. This is not a 3-star hotel, it's at best a 2-star hostel, and that would be being generous. It should not be allowed to call itself a hotel - its a travesty. Extremely disappointing.
Close to metro
Only one card per room which has be handed to reception when we went out. When we came back we were not questioned, a key was just given to our room - we could have been anyone. This was similar with the holding of our bags.
