Det var speciellt läget, nära till strandpromenaden och nära till tåg- och busstationen som är mycket bra. Hotellet är modernt, rummet ljust och tyst och sängarna är bra. Nej, allt var som det skulle. Personalen var korrekt, kunde kanske varit lite mera välkomnande. Men stämningen i Menton, i motsats till Nice och Vence där vi också bodde, var lite mera kyligt och avmätt. |

Very nice room on 7th floor newly refurbished with a good size balcony with a view to the sea and efficient air conditioning. The reception staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is close by the town centre but in a quiet location. Avoided the breakfast as it seemed relatively expensive (although a lot cheaper than some other hotels in Menton) and there are cafes and bread shops offering better value breakfasts |

Fantastic cheap accommodation. We stayed in one room with our 3 children. We were grateful that Hotel Moderne would accommodate our large family. The staff were gracious and helpful and offered good advice for restaurants and buses to Monte Carlo. Only one night, but recommed for a cheap stopover. |

It may be called Hotel Moderne, but modern it's not. It is a bit retro, but clean and comfortable. Room is airconditioned. There are double sliding doors and shutters to block out the noise, heat and light. Don't know why others complain it is noisy. Location is also good. It would be nice if breakfast is included for the same price. But this hotel is still better than other hotels we looked at. Our room had a toilet cistern which was a little noisy. |

Cleanliness,pleasant staff. It was a 2 star hotel but still o.k, you get what you pay for, but I would be quite happy to use the hotel again. Noisey with the windows open, so I closed them, no problem. |

Localização excelente. Quarto amplo. Sacada agradável . Hotel aconchegante. Pessoal simpático. Um frigo bar no quarto. Uma água fresca à noite uma fruta faz falta!!! |

La stanza è ampia (ho soggiornato in una tripla) e anche il bagno,attrezzato di bidet (cosa rara in francia!). Mancavano gli asciugamani del bidet. |
