Moderne St Germain  

The hotel was a 3-5 min walk to the Metro which dropped you off very close to the Eiffel Tower. It is also a 10 min walk to Notre Dome. It is also easy to get to from Orly Airport.Our room was fabulous!!! We had the Lips room on the 6th floor. It had lips on the wall as wall paper. The sixth floor looked different from the rest of the floors not sure if rooms below the 6th floor had the fun designs in the room. Our view from our mini balcony was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Good selection of cheeses and meats. Best Croissants we had in Paris.

The hotel is centrally situated.

The hotel is anything but modern. The owners have given the ground floor a face lift as part of a marketing exercise, but the rooms are serious need of refurbishment and modernisation. I was very disappointed and felt i had been misled by the hotel's description.

The design and theming of the breakfast room as well as the breakfast. Yummy croisants.

Front desk/reception staff were not very friendly or helpful.

We had one of the best rooms with design decorations on the sixth floor. It was very quiet with a nice view .The bed was comfortable and the sheets clean .Breakfast was great and varied:everything you can think of was there:fresh croissants,cornflakes,different varieties of cheese,fresh orange juice ,jam and bacon,as well as fresh fruit ..The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and always smiling. Thank you Jennifer for keeping our luggage for free for a few hours after check out. I will certainly go back to Moderne saint Germain !

Noisy

We stayed at one of the penthouse room. It is not too big but the little balcony and the view made it super worthed. Bathroom has no door (separate wc with door though ) which make the room very special. Room misses a big long mirror

Very good location, good breakfast, generally clean and orderly. Friendly staff.

The reception was empty twice when we returned to the hotel in the daytime. With easy access from the street and keys hanging up for grabs, this is not good for security. Water in showers was never more than lukewarm, and walls/doors are thin so we were annoyed by other guests walking and talking in the corridors late at night/early morning.

ıTs location was good. Walking distance to Saint German.

good value and location for the price. had everything i needed and wasn't expensive.

i didnt speak any french, and some of the staff was helpful and patient with trying to help me get things I needed (shuttle) but one staff member in particular was rude and irritated with me when I needed help. I didn't need much, so it wasn't too much of a problem, but if I needed more help or anything else i could see how it could be a problem for some people. the room and bathroom were small, but had everything I needed. might be too small for 2 people over a long period of time.

Good location. 5 minutes walking to Saint-Michel Notre Dam RER station. 2 minutes walking to Maubert-Mutualité metro station. Buffet breakfast included in the price.

Small rooms, but it common for the Paris city centre. Poor value for money.

Location is good, near by the Luxembourg gardens, Pantheon and Saint Germain Boulevard; it's also closed to the metro station. The hotel has a nicely decorated lobby and free wifi access.

Wallpaper dirty, worn-out furniture (desk, wardrobe), bathroom was also rusty and a bit dirty. the bedcover smelled strange. There werw only a few TV-channels available (5 or 6) and they were in german, portuguese and english (BBC and and another news channel). I couldn't watch a movie; moreover the TV is something really small (30 cm diagonal), really old model

someone had smoked and the smell entered my room (1 night). did not happen during rest of the stay
