Excellent position right on beach. Staff very helpful and friendly. Well maintained and clean. Parking nearby. Delicious evening meal.
Cost of breakfast too expensive. Drove in to delightful nearby village for our petit dejeuner.
The location of the hotel is excellent.
The room we were allocated had a sea view but was on the second floor and at the western end of the building. It had a sloping ceiling. The en-suite was the worst laid out we have ever come across and spoilt our stay completely. We could have designed it better ourselves. We nearly became contortionists in getting the toilet paper from the holder! The fact that the Restaurant is sub-let does impact on the quality of one's stay. We sat in the bar on one day and were asked to leave as we were not allowed there unless we ordered a coffee or drink as it was not part of the hotel. The restaurant menu was the most restrictive we have encountered at any Best Western Hotel. It did not change from one day to the next and as a result did not always appeal. Surely management needs to look at this.
location, helpful staff.
Same menu every night, food expensive
Location is best! Hotel's restaurant is wonderful!
Front desk staff excellent, great location, very clean.
The restaurant had excellent food, but the staff could be a tad snarky, for example when we showed up for the buffet breakfast without warning them beforehand (....BUFFET???). A minor thing really.
This is a very good hotel right on a sandy beach with a wonderful position on the bay. Reception staff excellent with no side about being English.
The restaurant was very nice except for one member of staff who did not try to disguise her dislike of the English and so presented the all too common experience in France of rudeness and intolerance towards paying guests. The food however, was good and the price reasonable. The restaurant appears to be a cost centre run separately to the hotel.
Competent, friendly staff superb location, with a view of the beautiful coastline very decent appointments
music from the dining room was clearly audible at night and made it necessary to close windows - a pity in August (the head waitress used her diplomatic skills to restore quiet, though).
Perfect location for rrlaxing on the beach
The resaurant has a beautiful setting overlooking the sea, but it is expensive, the food portions is small and dissapointing. At least the bread with the meal was very good.
Excellent position in a quiet location and in front of a beautiful beach. Conformable room and bathroom
Loud refrigerator in the room disturbing while sleeping
Fantastic location on long beach. Nice restaurant within the hotel but independent from it
Slightly tricky access road
The Hotel is as close to the beach as possible. Restaurant is good.
Rooms have no air conditioning and could have more space...
Close eating places. Staff were great. Would go again.
The restaurant not being run by Best Western. No English menus.
We would recommend the restaurant the food is lovely and the staff very hospitable, the bedrooms are clean and very comfortable with a classic design and cap coz beach on your doorstep is beautiful.
Would only recommend for short stays because cap coz is very small with limited restaurants.
The staff were friendly and we had a room with a view of the sea. The hotel is right on the beach so you can have a quick dip in the morning or evening.
The room 118 we had was very very small. Our baggage, sport bag 14 kg weight, had to be placed in the rest room otherwise accessibility around the bed would be impossible. After 8 pm restaurant does not accept client without reservation; consider that at 10:30 pm the restaurant was still full of clients! The hotel's parking was occupied not only by customers and I had to park faraway; nothing dramatic, but another negative to add to the previous ones. In conclusion the location is fantastic, but it is below standard Best Westen quality.
Terrace & view overlooking beach
Restaurant & restaurant staff
Good price/quality restaurant attached with superb view on the sea Don't miss breakfast on the terrace outside next to the beach
Refrigerator on the room made too much noise but we managed to unplug the device...
This was a great hotel right on the beach . We had a bedroom with a sea view and enjoyed the sea breeze through the window and the sound of the waves . We didn't eat at the hotel but we were able to walk a short way along the beach to a couple of restaurants close by . Would definitely use this hotel again .
Bathroom a bit cramped .
Location is perfect. We were able to check in early which was ideal.
Restaurant was very busy for lunch and not able to serve us quickly (not their fault) so we went elsewhere. Looked good though.
Room size very small. The room and the corridor smelt very bad, to the extent it made all our clothes smell bad and was a health concern. The manager ignored our requests to fix the problem with the smell, only acting on the problem after we contacted booking.com The hotel hasn't been updated in a long time and is extremely poor value for money compared to other hotels in the immediate area.
Location location location
No cups / coffee / tea on second day Dogs not allowed in bar / restaurant Had 2 lovely meals in the brasserie down the road who did accept dogs...
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Views of beach from window. It must be lovely in summer.
Bathroom was a little jaded.
Our first overnight stop on a long trip through France. The small attic style room was fine for us and we were pleasantly surprised to have a kettle provided in the room - unusual in France. Free Parking in the hotel car park nearby was handy. The location was wonderful, right on the beach and with good weather we made the most of it. The self-service buffet style breakfast was not inclusive but there was plenty on offer and it was unlimited which was good as it was 12 euros each. In any case the room was very good value for money so we didn't mind. We would stay there again. The late check out time allowed time for another swim in the sea and a shower before leaving! The staff were friendly and the hotel had a lift too.
Only a slight problem, but we couldn't get into our room with the card key at first which had to be re-programmed on reception to make it work, and was easily solved.
