Location and friendly staff
Needs better maintenance (new light buklbs etc.) and needs a new stair carpet.
Clean towels daily Empty fridge in room, space to cool your own wine. Kettle provided
No lift , stairs quite narrow
Flees on the bed and copule arguing and fighting in the middle of the night.
Helpful staff, good bed, and kettle in room.
Noisy at night, bathroom somewhat cramped.
Room clean Very helpful and friendly staff Great location
Stairs were hard to get up with bags
Good location. 97 steps to our room, no lift.
A bit overpriced!
The location was perfect, very close to the metro station and supermarket, Sacre Cour is just half an hour by walk. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Old and poor facilities.
Convinient to get there. Close to Metro. Friendly staff. Very quiet rooms in the backyard.
From the entrance it looked a bit shabby. Very small rooms.
Near the metro station
Small room, no elevator,noisy
Very nice connection to many places in Paris by Metro or Bus. And supermarket(Simply) is just 2 mins away. Room is not that big, but we felt it clean, cozy and safe. Wifi was also good.
No elevator. You need to do some exercise.
Very good location, close to underground stations and many restaurants and cafes. A few minutes walk from the Moulin Rouge.
There was no decent bathroom. It was a messy room, with a shower and a lot of towels and blankents on the floor. Also, it was dirty. One day we even saw a cockroach! To make matters worse, we always had to beg for the keys to take a shower. Very disturbing. The staff wasn't friendly. They didn't help us and, when asked a question, they just looked at us with angry faces.
New towels every day
Moist in the room and carpet.
The location to the moulin rouge was fantastic. Close by to the metro station.
It is an older hotel, but the bathrooms have been updated which is good. The climb to the top story was hard with lots of luggage.
Good Location Close to metro stop Close to restaurants
Staff were extremely rude upon arrival Most staff did not speak english No elevator
Nice location, friendly owners, close to the metro station, a lot of bistrots around, close to Montmartre. We took a room with a private bathroom, everything worked well, it also had a hair dryer which is important to me. The hotel was much better than what I was expecting from the photos. WiFi is free and worked perfectly the whole time. I definitely recommend it and I would love to stay there again.
A bit noisy in the morning when the trash is collected. TV not working properly from time to time. No elevator and narrow stairs if you have a lot of luggage it is not that nice to carry them.
Good location, nice staff, small mini-fridge in the room, clean,
Hotel is not beautiful, beds are not comfortable
Location close to metro and restaurants
Bad bed and pretty noisy
reccomend, close to metro, many restaurants around
No mirror in the room (not the one in the toilet ). Numbers of charger are not enough. Light is too dark. The heater is not easy to use.
Friendly staff, clean - if basic - room and reasonably good location/connections to city centre. Good, strong wi-fi signal despite being on fifth floor.
Pricey, for what you get, but then that's Paris all over for you.
staff were very nice and helpful free wifi great location, near the metro okaytriple room
no elevator double room without shower is to be avoided, i could smell the urine (assuming not clean after the previous guest left)the toilet all the time because there is no door between the bedroom and the toilet
Good location, the staff was ok and the wifi signal good.
It's a 5th floor without elevator, the building is a bit old, the rooms are smaller and the furniture older than appeared in the pictures.
Hotel Moncey is a great value for the money. Keep in mind there are no common shower facilities, so if you don't book a room with a full bathroom, all you will have is a sink and a bidet that does not have any running water to it. Good place to crash if you're on a short-term stay in Paris, as it's right next to the M2 line, which goes to all the big attractions.
The Location. Clean sheets. Shower in the room. Room cleaned every day. There was a comunal toilet outside the room.
Staff civil rather than friendly.... It was like a hostel no comfort at all except the bed and two ricketty chairs. Only two coat hangers and no hooks anywhere. If you don't have a shower I don't know how you would shower as there were no comunal ones on floor 2. I'm not convinced it was brilliant value at £60 per night for a very small double bed pushed up against the wall. No room to swing a cat. Bed was ok but gave my mate a back ache as it went down in the centre. I was ok as I slept on the edge not up against the wall.
