Great location and clean bathroom.
There was a bad smell in the staircase.
Very good location - very close to metro which means direct access to arc de triomphe, les invalides museum, sacre coeur and tour montparnasse.. And a few minute walk from moulin rouge. Place de clichy is a nice area with lots of places to eat. Quite a big supermarket (''simply'') is just opposite the main street. Wifi is free and is ok, but could have been a stronger signal (we were at the second floor). We had a room with a view on the inner yard so it was really quiet during the night & the sleep was excellent. I agree that the walls are a bit thin and you can hear some noise now and then but it did not felt disturbing at all.
1) Rooms are a bit old and require to be refurbished soon. (The bathroom was good though) 2) one lamp did not work 3) TV channels in French only ( I still enjoyed it though as I like French language :) ) 4) no hotel restaurant? at least we were not told that there is one. (anyway there are tons of options around the place de clichy) 5) pictures on booking looked better because the reality is that the curtains do not match duvet colours or the carpet etc etc (i have a very artistic personality so things like these always cause me a discomfort :D) it just looked like whatever was available was dumped in that room and was not designed to match each other but that's okay as for us it was just a place to sleep and browse the internet :) 6) to be honest a bit pricey for what you get but that's Paris and the prices are high for all hotels
Close to metro, so easy to get around.
Walls are paper-thin, which left little to the imagination. Was very noisy. Small rooms, but clean.
good location grocery restaurant metro nearby
too noisy couldnt sleep well
location price friendly staff
poor interior no atmosphere in hotel hotel poorly maintained inside bed too short no facilities noisy outside not worth the money at all
Staffs are friendly. Good location and for busses and trains. Near supermarkets and restaurants.
Room was filthy. Apliances are not functioning. Building was old and untidy. No elevator for 5 storey building.
Wifi signal was strong, we stayed at 5th floor, room no 36 (modem in the room) Great location. It is placed in a safe area, close to metro stations, supermarket near by. Friedly staff and a nice dog Ecco :) We got new towels everyday. All in all, the hotel is a good value for the money.
An older hotel with no lift. Old stair carpet help to look even cheaper. The bathroom was updated but has a strange old smell. Wall to wall carpet which gave me really bad feelings.. The bedsheets looked clean, but there was ANOTHER dirty sheets with lots of hair under the thin white sheet. It seemed to me that they never really clean the room properly.
The room is cleaned everyday.wifi is good in the room. Its near to the metro station.
Very friendly staff and good location
Noise from street
Friendly staff, good location, good price/quality ratio for Paris: for the rate charged one cannot expect luxury. Proximity of the bustling place Clichy/Batignolles/Courcelles area
The hotel is badly in need of major maintenance, the stairwell is downright shabby, the plumbing in the bathroom needs serious attention, as does the paintwork in the whole building.
Location and friendly staff
Needs better maintenance (new light buklbs etc.) and needs a new stair carpet.
Clean towels daily Empty fridge in room, space to cool your own wine. Kettle provided
No lift , stairs quite narrow
Flees on the bed and copule arguing and fighting in the middle of the night.
Helpful staff, good bed, and kettle in room.
Noisy at night, bathroom somewhat cramped.
Room clean Very helpful and friendly staff Great location
Stairs were hard to get up with bags
Good location. 97 steps to our room, no lift.
A bit overpriced!
The location was perfect, very close to the metro station and supermarket, Sacre Cour is just half an hour by walk. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Old and poor facilities.
Convinient to get there. Close to Metro. Friendly staff. Very quiet rooms in the backyard.
From the entrance it looked a bit shabby. Very small rooms.
Near the metro station
Small room, no elevator,noisy
Very nice connection to many places in Paris by Metro or Bus. And supermarket(Simply) is just 2 mins away. Room is not that big, but we felt it clean, cozy and safe. Wifi was also good.
No elevator. You need to do some exercise.
Very good location, close to underground stations and many restaurants and cafes. A few minutes walk from the Moulin Rouge.
There was no decent bathroom. It was a messy room, with a shower and a lot of towels and blankents on the floor. Also, it was dirty. One day we even saw a cockroach! To make matters worse, we always had to beg for the keys to take a shower. Very disturbing. The staff wasn't friendly. They didn't help us and, when asked a question, they just looked at us with angry faces.
New towels every day
Moist in the room and carpet.
The location to the moulin rouge was fantastic. Close by to the metro station.
It is an older hotel, but the bathrooms have been updated which is good. The climb to the top story was hard with lots of luggage.
Good Location Close to metro stop Close to restaurants
Staff were extremely rude upon arrival Most staff did not speak english No elevator
