Hôtel Monet  

Our room was really huge.. Was more like a studio. Very close to the city and not in the city itself.. So no noise at all. Super value for money

Long hill walk to & from town

The staff were very friendly and attentive. we have a cabriolet and had been away 3weeks so didnt want to empty the boot and re-pack it again, we mentioned this on our booking and they had left cones out for us. The hotel is very close to the centre just up-hill on the way back but good for walking off the meal. If you are lucky enough to have good weather you can sit on your own patio and have breakfast. We have stayed at this hotel before and will definately be staying again.

Very friendly staff, very willing to help. Modern well appointed rooms, 5 minutes walk from centre of town. I would stay here again.

Fairly steep from town centre, may not be suitable some less able people. Acoustic insullation between new rooms could be improved.

Thought it a pretty nicely situated hotel/motel room on outskirts of Honfleur centre easily walkable but on a hill and cobbled so not suitable for anyone with difficulty.Outside personal area useful. Tv selection poor and no drink making facilty in room which would enhance it.

Slightly overpriced for room only I believe.

The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke good english. We love walking and they had a good collection of guides to walks in the area. They were very helpful on restaurants to eat out at and those to avoid for value for money. We enjoyed having an area outside the room where we could sit in especially the deckchairs and cold beers after a long walk. Plenty of car parking on the road outside.

There was alot of noise from 8 til 7 from extension work being carried out, but this was unavoidable, and the extension will improve the hotel. Otherwise a quite restful stay.

Friendliness ad helpfulness of proprietors, we also liked very much the new decor of the room, v good taste and user friendly, especially cupboards in bathroom!

nothing we didnt like - except France is proving so expensive now that our sterling pound is so weak!!

The room was comfortable; very pleasant, friendly staff. The town center is a easy 5 minute walk down the hill, but going up the hill was a bit harder. Hotel was centrally located to sites we wanted to see. The location made it easy to get out of town for day trips to the coastal area. We enjoyed our stay.

The best feature of the Monet was the courtesy and friendliness of Sylvie, the hostess. All other elements were well beyond our expectations as well. I would recommend the Monet to anyone looking for a modest hotel in the Normandy area.

The mattress was a bit too hard for our tastes.

Antiseptic room with a tile floor - it seemed more like an American-style Motel than a Hotel

Le petit déjeuner servi en chambre. La grande douche. Le parking privatif. L'aspect moderne des équipements

Le chauffage était éteint, et il faisait 12°c dans la chambre, on a remarqué ça après être revenu du restaurant, on avait juste posé nos valises. On a donc enclenché avec beaucoup de mal le chauffage qui n'est pas un simple thermostat. Et celui-ci s'est de nouveau éteint pendant qu'on dormait, et on s'est réveillé vers 7h avec une température de 14°c dans la chambre. C'est proprement inadmissible pour une "chambre double supérieure", d'autant plus que l'Hôtel ne s'est même pas empressé de nous faire un geste commercial. C'était il y a 4 Jours, et nous l'avons toujours pas digéré.
