Hotel located rather close to the train station and city center. Clean, modern, nice staff.
Just to pay attention that on Saturdays and Sundays the reception is closed from 12.30 to 17:00 or so. You need to call them to have the code to enter. Not a big deal still.
Francois on Reception when we arrived was most attentive and very helpful. A credit to the Hotel.
A little far away from the train station,The room face the road ,noisy in the night.
The hotel is small. But in a very good location. Walking distance to everywhere.
The bathroom is too small. Could barely move.
The service and tips from Pascal were great. Also the additional breakfast was very good.
- Room cleanness - Staff - Location - Value for money
- Bathroom a little too small
Rooms are small, but well equipped and clean.Handsome passionate shopowner
There isn't elevator, needs of the labor counterparts.
Walking distance to centre of Dijon. Newly refurbished with friendly owners/staff. Good value for an overnight stop.
Didn't have own parking so had to park car in street, 100 Mtrs from hotel.
Location great, parking at night free and during the day reasonable 2.8 Euro for 5 hours. Good directions to see old city.
Grumpy host, while bed clean, .......desk not so very sticky. Would I recommend only if no other vacancy in the area as the location is brilliant
The room was clean and comfortable, The location was just 5 min walk from the city center
The hotel staff were unpleasant and gave us a feeling that we are not welcome. Also the bed gave us a back-ache
Ease of booking Good customer service Good value
Staff were generally helpful and good to deal with and the location is very good next to the old cite. I stayed for 1 night.
The bedroom was tiny and stuffy. Barely had enough room to open 2 suitcases. It was situated along a hallway which seemed to be a thoroughfare, very noisy just from people constantly walking past. The airconditioner rattled whilst on, making it impossible to sleep. The worst room I've experienced so far on holiday.
No frills cheap clean value for money hotel.Location to town centre good.Very fast wi fi. Best i have experienced.
Stayed for one night on our way to Switzerland. Clean, nice sized room, very cheap, staff were very friendly. I would recommend this hotel.
The shower flooded our room for some reason, had to remove the plug from the shower basin.
Very friendly. Very clean . Had character but modern facilities and spec.
The light around the steps in receotion. Made it impossible to see it was a step
Great room v friendly and helpful staff
No option to make tea or coffee
Clean room, breakfast.
Room was poky for a family of 4, only 2 towels supplied and extras refused, 15 min walk from Dijon Centre,
- call in the morning (reason?) - cleaning lady entered the room although not checked-out
we arrived at 14.30 and had to wait after a long drive until 18.00 to check in,the receptionist was very friendly and helpfull
Well located in a quiet street in central Dijon. Dont be put off by 1st impressions. The outside of the hotel is rather drab and the entrance very off putting but the rooms are very pleasant, clean modern and comfortable.
Dont quite understand why the opwner would spend so much effort in upgrading the room s yet the outside and reception area look so uninviting. Also we were asked to pay on arrival which is not usual in France however when we discovered that our room was facing directly on to the street and a simple hop out of the window would leave the owner without payment if one was so inclined I could understand his desire to be paid up front. Also it is a little off putting to have the bedroom window facing directly onto the footpath outside for all passing pedestrians to look in. In addition make note that at weekends and public holidays check in is not until 5.00pm
Location close to station (also convenient for access by car), staff nice and helpful, rooms comfortable and newly refurbished
Staff is often not present even during day time. Wifi very poor
Very friendly family run hotel, large and pleasant room. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the city centre. Warm welcome, we receive all necessary information to visit the city. Fast WiFi!
Breakfast could be slightly improved, but good quality.
The hotel was located about a 10 minute walk from the train station. We stayed in a recently renovated room on the ground floor. The double room was sufficient for 2 people. Some of the rooms on the higher floors have not been renovated. The room was quiet. There was wifi in the room. It was about a 10 minute walk into central Dijon. There was a grocery store and also a small cafe on the same street.
The television did not have any English speaking channels.
It was a very quiet and clean room. We had a good night's sleep. We used the hotel as stopover from Switzerland on our way back to Calais and were going to be late for check in, so on phoning the hotel the receptionist was accommodating and gave us the door key code and left the keys on the reception desk for us, so we could get in.
In the morning the breakfast room was very cramped. There seemed to be four sides of a square around a pillar and you had to squeeze between the counters where the breakfast was and the backs of chairs to get to the food. Some aspects of this were positively dangerous as there was a huge oblong container of constant boiling water to boil eggs on the corner of a counter that you had to squeeze past. I am amazed that no-one has been serverly burnt. The breakfast seemed expensive for the limited breakfast offered. There was only one member of staff managing the dining room and reception desk, simultaneously, so a lack of staff!! She was however very friendly and was able to direct us to the post office to buy stamps so we could send our postcards!
The staff was very friendly. They have comfortable triple rooms - not large, but with two comfortable double beds. They have air conditioning. The breakfast is simple (coffee/tea, one croissant, part of a baguette, a slice of toast with butter, marmalade, jam and honey) but tasty. It is located outside of the historical centre but the main sights are within walking distance.
The only parking option is street-side parking which can be difficult to find. There is no elevator and the stairs are tricky with heavy luggage.
