Second stay at Hotel Monte Carlo was very nice. I wasn't there long, but it was clean, comfortable and centrally located. There are many restaurants nearby and the Metro is just around a corner. |

Great location and friendly atmosphere. Good directions to get there and easy to find (close to several metro stations). Hotel and rooms had good character. Staff were pleasant and approachable. Very good value for money. |

After arriving late on Friday night, my partner and I were warmly greeted by the hotel staff and were given a free map of Paris. This proved to be very handy the next day whilst exploring the city. The room was delightful- well designed, with unique furnishings and quirky color schemes. The view to the courtyard was especially pleasing. It was the perfect stay for a weekend break- we shall most certainly be returning again. |

Very friendly and helpful welcome when booking in. Clean simple decor. We liked the "cat" pictures, ornaments, door handles etc. Comfortable bed. Some hooks in the room for hanging coats, towels etc. on would have been useful. |

Good location for reaching most attractions and dining. Helpful and polite staff providing information about transport especially the lady on duty in the daytime. Our room got severe smell of paint and too small for two people. The shower partition is tiny even for a slim person to turn round. Not air-conditioned but with a towel fan which couldn't really cool us down in the hot days. Unreasonable to pay for two nights on arrival. |

The friendliness and helpfulness of staff was second to none. Close to transport links for airport/stations. Excellent breakfast. The beds were also extremely comfortable. Street outside was noisy at times ( but to be fair we were in a city and close to the heart of things ) but if window shut hardly any noise. We found it Hot with window closed but we come from a cool climate so might not be a problem for others. A portable air conditioner was in the room only slightly less noisy than window open. Room could possibly benefit from integral air con. but in all an excellent choice for our extremely comfortable stay. In fairness we did not mention the above as the staff went out of their way to be helpful. |

Excellent hotel staff went out of their way to help us in a city we were not familiar with. Provided contact information for the hotel and the Managers cell in case we had a problem - outstanding Very hot in Paris - room was not air conditioned. |

The desk was always staffed by a friendly hotel employee (or the owner) who spoke excellent English. The location, in the heart of a friendly part of Paris, is perfect. Rooms are small and expensive, compared to options further from the heart of the city. |

We had a wonderful stay at the Monte-Carlo! The staff was very kind, the neighbourhood is pleasant, the metro almost across the street, nice and romantic room, clean toilet and shower, sweet breakfast buffet, we could leave our luggage at the reception for the afternoon (no charge), free maps... No complaints, everything was great! Thank you |

The staff are very friendly and since the hotel is rather small it has a homely feeling. One of the receptionist was very friendly and he suggested several restaurants round the area. Also the area is very nice and it's central. With the metro just a couple of metres down the road you can get to the centre in no time. Our room was a superior double room... it's was a very small room and felt slightly crowded for 2 people. Then again it's a two star hotel and it's Paris so don't put your expectations too high. Bed was slightly small and the room smelt of paint, however if you leave the window open, it's ok. |

We have stayed at a number of three and four star hotels in Paris and this two star hotel is now our favorite. Starting with the charming owner and his professional and friendly staff to the hidden jewel of a garden, everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The decor is arty, hip, yet warm and inviting. |

We enjoyed the very welcoming and helpful front desk staff, particularly the man who checked us in and spoke English beautifully, the wonderful location of the hotel, the colorful, artsy decor, the comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, free WiFi internet in the room, instant hot water in the bath/shower, good juice, coffee and croissants at breakfast, and the generally quiet room (see below). Only that they were doing some renovations in the hotel during our stay (about which we were not informed), and we had a few hours here and there of pretty loud construction noises. But they didn't extend late into the evening or start too early in the morning. |

Clean, friendly hotel with good & safe location. Lots of good priced restaurants around and easy access to the city on foot or by metro. Nope, breakfast was a bit on the expensive side but comparable to other hotels. |

Clean, free unlimited wi-fi, unusual pleasant interior, good location for shopping and walking around, friendly hotel staff. Direct line to Paris Expo. Might be noisy, you hear everything on the corridor, the good point is that everybody hear that too and behave quiet. In my room it was cold while sleeping (+7 at night outside), blanket was very thin. |
