Excellent hotel staff went out of their way to help us in a city we were not familiar with. Provided contact information for the hotel and the Managers cell in case we had a problem - outstanding Very hot in Paris - room was not air conditioned. |

The desk was always staffed by a friendly hotel employee (or the owner) who spoke excellent English. The location, in the heart of a friendly part of Paris, is perfect. Rooms are small and expensive, compared to options further from the heart of the city. |

We had a wonderful stay at the Monte-Carlo! The staff was very kind, the neighbourhood is pleasant, the metro almost across the street, nice and romantic room, clean toilet and shower, sweet breakfast buffet, we could leave our luggage at the reception for the afternoon (no charge), free maps... No complaints, everything was great! Thank you |

The staff are very friendly and since the hotel is rather small it has a homely feeling. One of the receptionist was very friendly and he suggested several restaurants round the area. Also the area is very nice and it's central. With the metro just a couple of metres down the road you can get to the centre in no time. Our room was a superior double room... it's was a very small room and felt slightly crowded for 2 people. Then again it's a two star hotel and it's Paris so don't put your expectations too high. Bed was slightly small and the room smelt of paint, however if you leave the window open, it's ok. |

We actually stayed here twice during the same trip, so everything I wrote previously applies. This is one very fine hotel! |

We have stayed at a number of three and four star hotels in Paris and this two star hotel is now our favorite. Starting with the charming owner and his professional and friendly staff to the hidden jewel of a garden, everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations. The decor is arty, hip, yet warm and inviting. |

We enjoyed the very welcoming and helpful front desk staff, particularly the man who checked us in and spoke English beautifully, the wonderful location of the hotel, the colorful, artsy decor, the comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, free WiFi internet in the room, instant hot water in the bath/shower, good juice, coffee and croissants at breakfast, and the generally quiet room (see below). Only that they were doing some renovations in the hotel during our stay (about which we were not informed), and we had a few hours here and there of pretty loud construction noises. But they didn't extend late into the evening or start too early in the morning. |

Clean, friendly hotel with good & safe location. Lots of good priced restaurants around and easy access to the city on foot or by metro. Nope, breakfast was a bit on the expensive side but comparable to other hotels. |

Clean, free unlimited wi-fi, unusual pleasant interior, good location for shopping and walking around, friendly hotel staff. Direct line to Paris Expo. Might be noisy, you hear everything on the corridor, the good point is that everybody hear that too and behave quiet. In my room it was cold while sleeping (+7 at night outside), blanket was very thin. |

It is clean and staff are nice. Cause the room is small so I suggest it is for single or two persons. Too small for a whole family. Recommended from the comments from the web, I did not choose the room near bathroom. So overall it is quite. I recommend room 410, double-bed, or 409 single-bed. It is far from the bath room. :) The elevator is too old and it is scare. It is not so that close to the metro as what it claims. Actually in Paris, metro is very easy to reach, this hotel is in the mid of two metro stops. |

Helpful bilingual staff. Clean rooms, small, but adequate. Nice shower, plenty of hot water. Asked for and received a quite room with window. Close to Gare du Nord and many small restaurants and shops. |
