The hotel, a charming typical 18th-century inn, is ideally located in the heart of Provence, and features comfortable and welcoming accommodations and a wine cellar and a restaurant.

The location was beautiful with lovely gardens and swimming pool. The food was fantastic, it deserves an award also the wine
It's fairly remote without a car. Taxi to Orange station 60€ and 1/2 hours walk into Vaqueyras. The superior room was hardly superior, merely adequate with no airconditioning and for that price not good enough. Nothing is free, even a cup of tea 4€. Having said that, I think the positives are sufficient to recommend this hotel
Beautiful restored Chateau property. Room very small, bathroom large and well appointed. Lovely pool. Restaurant was fabulous- fois gras terrine to die for!
No elevator to get baggage to room.
this hotel was recommended to us , don't know how you would come across it otherwise. beautiful setting , plenty of sunloungers, good size pool. lovely food, in the heart of the wine region, limited English spoken, staff very helpful. this hotel has rustic charm, a little tired in . .décor but perfectly suitable for a chilled out stay
Location delicious wine and excellent dinner
Setting Dog friendly
We had booked this hotel in March, for a very special celebratory evening out. When we checked in we were told there was no table for us for the evening meal, as it was necessary to prebook one, and we hadn't done so. Apparently it points this out on their website! (Note - this needs to be pointed out on their booking.com page!) We tried our very best to persuade them to be flexible - they could easily have put a small table (there was only 2 of us) from the empty indoor restaurant onto the spacious outdoor eating terrace, and surely a hotel of this size could have rustled up 2 extra meals?! All was refused, so we ended up having to do a 3 mile round trip walk (didn't want to drive as the car was very much loaded up, so rather "a target", so didn't want to park it in some random place in Vacqueras), to get a meal at the Cafe du Cours in the village. I have always believed that a hotel in France presumes a resident would want to eat there in the evening unless told otherwise?! Also, when I booked the hotel through booking.com, and asked about our dog, could someone from the hotel not have thought to email me to ask whether we required a table or not........... I feel we were shamefully treated, the hotel was completely thoughtless and intransigent, and the whole experience was expensive and a total disaster. More than disappointing.
Excellent location, adequate rooms and good food.
I stayed there nights and ate in the restaurant for the first two. During dinner on the second night I was informed that the restaurant was fully booked for the following night and I would not be able to eat there as I had not booked for the restaurant.
that we only had time for one night
Hotel is beautifully situated, some distance outside Vacqueras. Weather permitting, all meals are taken on the lovely terrace. Adjoining is the shady garden, leading to the pool. Plenty of sunbeds. Food was excellent and service attentive and friendly. Computer available for guest use in lounge (free). Shady, free parking, guarded at night. We shall certainly return.
Our room was adequate, but not particularly large and we would have appreciated some form of air conditioning.
Staff were excellent & helpful. Very friendly. Food was excellent.
Wifi is a bit weak. Couldn't get it in the room
The terrace and pool areas The breakfast. Delicious dinner served on the terrace The friendly staff
The bedrooms looked a bit tired but were comfortable.
Wonderful setting and atmosphere. Dinner served outside was excellent. Great wines.
Good value for money, interesting area (wine growing region).
Unable to book a room with balcony or terrace, as I was informed that they had no rooms with these facilities.
The calm - and the food and nice and helpful staff. So good to sit at the terasse in the evenings having a nice meal and nice wines. Shade parkning.
The Classic room was very small but ok. Every morning came a smell off hot disel in to the room lasting for 1-2 hours. And it closing the window did not help.
