Friendly staff, lovely grounds.

Good location, very warm hospitality, the host gave good advice regarding where . to visit, eat and park the car

Motel Les Bleuets exceeded all expectations but one, which it met. It is not a "luxury" hotel with wooden in-lays but exceeded in flawless paint, immaculate rooms and cleanliness. The 4-star hotels that we stayed in during the trip didn't match Motel Les Bleuets' manager and staff in customer focus, friendliness, and accommodation.

There is nothing that did not meet or exceed expectations. As advertised, though, it is a motel setting and a few minutes away from the Honfleur harbor. Even that was not an issue - as it could be traversed easily by car, bicycle (provided) or 20 minute walk.

Owner and staff are very friendly, rooms are clean, continental breakfast (although they'll charge you 9 euros if you decide to go for it) is decent (it is what can be expected), parking right in front of your door and quiet nights. Honfleur is somewhat of a long walk from the motel but you can park your car (for 4 euros) very close to the "centre- ville".

Although clean, the room was a bit muggy. With winds sometimes blowing in from La Havre (we only had this one night), opening the windows made matters a bit worse (not an insurmountable problem). Internet signal in our room was so-so.

Comfort, friendly, clean, superbly appointed room, location. In other words we could not fault it. The Manager and his wife were most attentive and they maintain a very high standard indeed.

Easy to get to from the motorway. Friendly welcome, parking specific to the room so no fighting for parking spaces. Room spacious and bathroom well appointed - lovely shower. Easy check in and check out.

Nothing really. The walk into Honfleur is around 15 minutes but there is no immediate pavement off the roundabout, you need to walk approx 200m on a parallel road before you pick up the pavement. Not a problem for us.

Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Spoke excellent English. Made us feel at home.

Outstanding experience. I can understand why motel is rated so highly by most booking sites. Although about 3km from centre ville it is an ideal location given the parking problems in peak time. The owners could not have a better, professional, friendly and ready to meet all our needs.

Friendly staff with excellent and very comfortable rooms. Surprisingly quiet at night despite being so close to what is during the daytime quite a busy road. Motel is a misnomer as this is a hotel but with the ability to park your car outside of your room. The word Motel may put people off. They shouldn't be.

Not a very pleasant walk into Honfleur, especially in the winter. 25-30 minutes is OK but the first section is without a footpath and the grass verge got very rough and muddy. A slightly longer route taking in back roads is not an option as it takes in an industrialised area that isn't very pleasant at night and much of that is also without footpaths.

We chose Motel Les Bleuets on the number of points and reviews of other travellers and the price . We were not disappointed . Attractive set up , great rooms , comfortable beds , large TV , great host .

Location just outside Honfleur made it easy to access. It is very much like a motel in the usa. The room was comfortable. There was no ambiance but it was a good value for an overnight on the road. The owner was very helpful in recommending restaurants and giving us good directions.

The owner is very abrupt talked too fast when showing us the room. We weren't able to take it all in and had to go back and ask questions.
