The Hotel du Roule is on a tree-lined avenue in Neuilly-sur-Seine. It is just 10 minutes from the center of Paris by Metro, which is within walking distance of the hotel.

Great location, near metro station. Friendly stuff.
Bad wifi reception in the room. Hotel was under maintenance.
I was really disappointed with my stay - they forgot to mention that a ll the stairs and landings were being decorated and are not up to standard for a full price stay! I booked a taxi before bed and was called whilst asleep at 12:30 to tel me the taxi was coming earlier than id arranged then called again 15.minutes before we were due to leave and told the taxis waiting we need to leave. Then to add insult to unjustly the man on reception the night before hadn't noted my payment down, I insisted if paid the following morning, and was told it was simply a holding deposit as if booked on line, he would not accept that id paid on arrival and would not let me leave or contact the previous employee who's taken my payment to clarify! I has an email on arrival in the UK advising id paid twice.... Didn't see that coming!!!! I contacted the hotel to advise how disappointed I was and that is been charged for a non sterling transaction twice on my credit card because of there error - they were unwilling to refund me!!! I would not stay here they do not value customer feed back!
Staff who accuse you of lieing
WIFI speed is good , stable great location ,less than 100 meters away from the Blanche metro station and Moulin rouge Many Supermarket, Bar, restaurant nearby
Dilapidated facilities, the room is too old and small, only one window , poor ventilation, the receoption is friendly but not helpful, price is a little bit expensive.
Centrally located. Accessible to transportation. Breakfast is a great value at 10€. It's clean, quiet, affordable, and decent. No frills. The area is known for girlie bars, but if you walk one block all the way towards Opera Garnier, it becomes beautiful. Many new interesting shops and restaurants are sprouting. Receptionists are helpful.
Cable tv in the room did not work throughout our entire stay. Room is tiny, same with the bathroom. A tad uncomfortable with the girlie bars and erotic museum in the next block. Am not a fan of the predominantly red bedroom. It's not restful to the eyes.
It's not for a family with childrens. It's for a couple with active way of living. For them, who isn't addicted to internet. Very good location, good team, good aura of Paris.
Internet isn't working. So, this hotel isn't for work traveling.
The outside of the hotel is the Moulin Rouge and the most active nightlife in Paris !!....safe and great place to walk around.....better safe with a companion.
Renovation still going on.....
- location - good wi-fi
- one evening hotel got closed for 20min - person from reception disappeared... Many people were waiting - unacceptable!
Very small room. Expected better quality. Hopefully after renovation (noise at the day) will be much better.
Loved the location - walking distance from everything (not to mention the metro, which brought us straight to CDG airport). Staff very friendly and willing to allow us to try our french out
Room and bed were smaller than expected, but then, for what we were paying in what was pretty much Paris City Centre.
The Bath, should have a bath mat, both my wife and I slipped, hard to get out needs a handle. Real safety issue here.
Not up to standards nor what was advertised very misleading
A friendly receptionist
Nice bathroom and quiet room. Good location in city to visit all the main attractions and Montmartre a lovely place to be.
No kettle in room. Staff a bit unfriendly and no where to leave bags after check out, except in reception where anybody could pick them up. Bad wi fi signal- not possible to access web browser on 5th floor. No tv signal.
This hotel is sooooo close to the Moulin Rouge - 300 mtrs, so as a Single woman, I didn't want to wander the streets of Pigalle late at night - it was perfect!!
Bathroom smelling Ants in the room Bad attitude receptionist No AC window has to stay open all the time
The location was great right near to Moulin Rouge, walking distance to Sacre Caeure. The hotel is in the red light district but really not at all sleazy, we did not feel uncomfortable walking around after dark. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. The hotel is going through an update so we were lucky to have one of the newly renovated rooms and bathrooms, the communal area is looking a bit tired but once all the renovations have been completed it will be a really smart hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful unlike the dining room staff at breakfast. Would stay at this hotel again but would not bother with the breakfast for 10e, pretty shabby, although breakfast is served between 7.30am an 10.30am if you arrive after 9am you will have very little choice, of perhaps a slice or two of cheddar cheese and a couple of slices of salami with a dried roll, really not worth 10e, safe your money a jd walk round the corner for a 5e French breakfast at a choice of many bars. All in all good hotel, the breakfast is optional so you are not forced to eat it - don't, and have a great break in Paris
Friendly staff, nice bed, great location. Metro Blanche 100 m. Lots of bars, restaurants, clubs nearby.
Verry small bad. Shower to low. Different levels (steps) in the room. Almost broke my leg ;) slowest wifi ever!
The breakfast is very poor.
Staff was friendly at check in. The location near the Moulin Rouge and metro station Blanche is great. This will get you to the touristic hot-spots within a few stops. Also walking around the area you will find great places to eat and many places to have a coffee or something else.
Hotel was renovating. This was not mentioned during the booking process. Also it was not clean. When we entered our very small rooms there were still tissues from other visitors on the floor. If you are asthmatic, this place will kill you as they probably never heard about a vacuum cleaner. Also cleaning the bathroom is not on their to do list. All in all I would not recommend this specific hotel to my friends although the location is great and Paris is a beautiful city to enjoy. Also when travelling to this area you should keep in mind that this is the moulin rouge area so there are plenty of "massage" saloons, sex shops, gentlemen's clubs and drunk young men so if you feel that is offending than probably you should stay away from here.
Friendly staff cleanliness Location was fantastic
Quiet at night. Felt very safe and a great neighborhood to walk around. Right across from the Moulin Rouge. Rooms small but clean. Many good places to eat close by the hotel
No bath tub but that was expected in a small European hotel. No air conditioning but they did supply a fan and so it was comfortable
Celine your receptionist. The most charming and knowledgeable. The locality. Celine your greatest Asset.
small ness of rooms. No safety rails in or around the bath and no bath mats for inside the bath. only one power point. Safety is a big point and more mirrors maybe on the desk. No vanity chest of draws. and only one chair.
Close to the metro station, comfortable beds.
I have travelled a lot before, but this was the first time I had to pay the stay in a hotel at check-in.
Quiet, good beds
Don't go if it is hot! There is no AC and you get one tiny fan and a small window. It was too hot to sleep in our room at night. A second fan would have helped, but the staff said there weren't any more.
Breakfast too expensive for what on offer
