We had a very lovely stay, people there were so friendly and helpful. The hotel is secured well in a lovely area close to small shops and bars and easy access to the tube (5 mins walk). We loved our stay and loved everything in the hotel especially the people working there all were amazing. Best hotel i have been to.
Comfortable, clean, tranquile, heating temperature was perfect, close to food shops (restaurants/cafe/boulangerie/kebab).
An old and small room, but it was fine since the price is rather cheap (compared to other Parisian hotels).
The staff are very kind and can speak English fluently. the room is clean and tidy, but some facilities seem to be old. the location is good not far away from the metro station and in the morning there is a fish markt near the hotel.
Neighbourhood has plenty of good eating places. Room is warm even in winter
The bed and pillows aren't comfortable. The pillows are in dire need of replacement. Bathroom tiny and smells.
the location is good
This was our first trip to Paris so this was a very inexpensive and quality option for us. The location was in a safe, quiet neighborhood within walking distance from restaurants, shops and the metro. The hotel was quaint, clean, and convenient.
Nothing- this was a great stay for the low price.
Close to metro station, LESS then 10 min walking, nice place, quiet also into the night
Rooms too close but it s ok
The staff were helpfull.
The wifi was very slow and internet with poor quality. The breakfast didn't have fresh fruits.
I was reminded of Paris 2nd- and 3rd-rate hotels of 40 years ago when last in the city. I imagined then of the 30s, 40s, and 50s what hotels were in their glory days. So if you want old fashioned atmosphere, stay here and don't be critical. Breakfast in basement was good continental.
I wondered what I'd do if a fire broke out. Very, very narrow hallways, and staircase was dangerously close to my room entrance.
Too small lift
Wi-Fi working OK. Clean towels and tide room every day. Pleasant staff. Neighbourhood.
Very narrow beds. Small room. (But bearable.) Overheated room. (Fixable.)
My double room was a good size for Parisian hotel rooms, the WiFi worked as expected and everything was clean. Good for transport links- Alésia metro is about 8 mins walk away, and Denfert Rochereau (RER B to Orly & CDG as well as the Orlybus terminus) is 20mins away on foot.
Location in the 14th arr. was very quiet and safe, but a little too dull for me. The modernisation of the hotel décor had not reached my room, which was looking a bit faded. Like a lot of Parisian hotels, soundproofing wasn't great, so if you're a light sleeper earplugs would be a good idea.
The shower was broken, almost no water was comming from it!
The location is quite OK, in a safe area, 5 minutes from the Pernety metro station (line 13 connecting you with Champs Elysees) or 10 minutes to Alesia metro station (line 4 taking you to Cite). The room is medium size, enough to make you feel comfortable. It has private bathroom and everything is clean. The staff helps you if needed. The price looks pretty well considering how expensive most hotels are in Paris. There are small supermarkets close to the hotel.
A little fridge would be nice... and coffee/tea amenities...
Staff was not friendly, room stinks.
It was good weather and we enjoyed it very much
Room was small
It was my second staying at Moulin Vert, it's a lovely small and relaxing place, very clean, staff always helpful and speaking English.Arround there are a plenty of restaurants, coffee shops,markets,5 minutes to the Metro station.
if you just need a place to sleep, its ok desk clerks very friendly and helpful.
keys and door locks awkward, doors to heavy to open, double door on one room would be hard to get out of in a fire. rooms were clean but need updating.
Very, very friendly staff. You get to meet them a lot since you have to leave your key at the reception each time you leave.
Global state of the room: mold, the paint falling, the bed feet going away, the bed itself inclined with as a result, the head lower than the feet. Service: wifi was scarce, my asking for no cleaning of the room during my stay was only partly respected.
We had a very comfortable sleep. Staffs are nice too.
all bread breakfast. there should at least be some eggs or bacons. There should also be sockets near the bed.
The locations -near from metro station(10 minutes by walk), restaurants nearby, markets and the quartier really safe and comfort to walk around. The reception was kind. Relatively cheep price in the location
The place for breakfast was too small and uncomfortable that maximum 10 persons could sit down. And the price was too much for the entire meal service in the restaurant. The towels in the bathroom was not clean even though they change it everyday. I had to use mine during whole days. I really didnt feel safe in the elevator. Shakes a lot when it lands. I know the elevators in Paris are mostly old , but this means a lot when it comes to carry the baggages.
The price and the location and the fact that it was near the Metro and buses. The location and access to sites can't be beat! My own bathroom with shower and toilet and sink, plenty of clean towels, and a staff that knows something; e;G. A staff member told me about the Air France bus that goes to both airports--very convenient--the dummies at the tourist centre did not know about it. Added, flat screen tv with cable-- what more do you want?
The dingy carpet on the floor--the room could have been cleaner, but sheets and towels very clean and extra pillows. Also, the breakfast was so expensive--8 Euro for not very much.
Fare is reasonable. Do not expect too much.
No air conditioner, but there was a fan. The elevator was small.
The staff at reception was very kind. The room was a good size- for Paris standards. I had a double bed, with room to stand next to it on both sides and even a desk. A small cupboard (although without a door), and a bathroom that was bigger than most Parisians probably have. Everything was very clean and the towels were fluffy. There was an elevator.
The interiors had obviously been done up quite a while ago- the carpet was a bit old, the tiles in the bathroom a bit brown and the fake wood was peeling a bit. All spotlessly clean, though. I could hear the people above me walk around a bit. But I couldn't hear voices or toilet flushing, so the noise level was doable. My suitcase lived on the desk- the cupboard was too small to put it there. Not a big deal, but it meant I couldn't use the desk for other things.
