The shower was broken, almost no water was comming from it!
The location is quite OK, in a safe area, 5 minutes from the Pernety metro station (line 13 connecting you with Champs Elysees) or 10 minutes to Alesia metro station (line 4 taking you to Cite). The room is medium size, enough to make you feel comfortable. It has private bathroom and everything is clean. The staff helps you if needed. The price looks pretty well considering how expensive most hotels are in Paris. There are small supermarkets close to the hotel.
A little fridge would be nice... and coffee/tea amenities...
Staff was not friendly, room stinks.
It was good weather and we enjoyed it very much
Room was small
It was my second staying at Moulin Vert, it's a lovely small and relaxing place, very clean, staff always helpful and speaking English.Arround there are a plenty of restaurants, coffee shops,markets,5 minutes to the Metro station.
if you just need a place to sleep, its ok desk clerks very friendly and helpful.
keys and door locks awkward, doors to heavy to open, double door on one room would be hard to get out of in a fire. rooms were clean but need updating.
Very, very friendly staff. You get to meet them a lot since you have to leave your key at the reception each time you leave.
Global state of the room: mold, the paint falling, the bed feet going away, the bed itself inclined with as a result, the head lower than the feet. Service: wifi was scarce, my asking for no cleaning of the room during my stay was only partly respected.
We had a very comfortable sleep. Staffs are nice too.
all bread breakfast. there should at least be some eggs or bacons. There should also be sockets near the bed.
The locations -near from metro station(10 minutes by walk), restaurants nearby, markets and the quartier really safe and comfort to walk around. The reception was kind. Relatively cheep price in the location
The place for breakfast was too small and uncomfortable that maximum 10 persons could sit down. And the price was too much for the entire meal service in the restaurant. The towels in the bathroom was not clean even though they change it everyday. I had to use mine during whole days. I really didnt feel safe in the elevator. Shakes a lot when it lands. I know the elevators in Paris are mostly old , but this means a lot when it comes to carry the baggages.
The price and the location and the fact that it was near the Metro and buses. The location and access to sites can't be beat! My own bathroom with shower and toilet and sink, plenty of clean towels, and a staff that knows something; e;G. A staff member told me about the Air France bus that goes to both airports--very convenient--the dummies at the tourist centre did not know about it. Added, flat screen tv with cable-- what more do you want?
The dingy carpet on the floor--the room could have been cleaner, but sheets and towels very clean and extra pillows. Also, the breakfast was so expensive--8 Euro for not very much.
Fare is reasonable. Do not expect too much.
No air conditioner, but there was a fan. The elevator was small.
The staff at reception was very kind. The room was a good size- for Paris standards. I had a double bed, with room to stand next to it on both sides and even a desk. A small cupboard (although without a door), and a bathroom that was bigger than most Parisians probably have. Everything was very clean and the towels were fluffy. There was an elevator.
The interiors had obviously been done up quite a while ago- the carpet was a bit old, the tiles in the bathroom a bit brown and the fake wood was peeling a bit. All spotlessly clean, though. I could hear the people above me walk around a bit. But I couldn't hear voices or toilet flushing, so the noise level was doable. My suitcase lived on the desk- the cupboard was too small to put it there. Not a big deal, but it meant I couldn't use the desk for other things.
Staff and quiet area
Room next to the stairs and noise from the movement of the elevator
Clean, comfortable and in a good location. Night duty receptionist that was on when we arrived was really lovely. Great to have free WiFi at this price!
No TV and decor quite tired (though we quite liked the original 70s style!) but for this price in Paris you can't complain!
Hotel Moulin Vert is staffed by very friendly, kind people which makes it a fine place to stay. The rooms are clean and adequate. I would recommend this hotel to travelers who are interested in being treated kindly and spending less on accommodations.
The rooms are clean but shabby. The location is a bit hard to find... about an eight-minute walk from the Pernety Metro Station in the Montparnasse District.
I was so apprehensive after reading all the bad reviews as I was due to stay here two nights I actually considered cancelling them. But for an average price in Paris it's easy to get into the centre via a cheap metro which is round the corner. The staff to me were so helpful and extremely pleasant. It's a cute little Parisian hotel, a little outdated but for cheap comfort it's great. And the bed was ever so comfy, although the room sizes were a tad pokey and the corridors tiny there's a nice big bright bathroom with plenty of hot water. I would happily go again, and there were a few little restaurants nearby I wish I could've visited.
We were in a room at the front of the hotel and it was quite loud, nothing ear plugs won't fix! No air con either which was unfortunate.
Bed was clean.
The room was not only dated, but in terrible condition with mould, peeling walls and bubbling paint! Shower varied in temperature. Worst of all the manager was rude and as no one had bothered to reply to my email request for bike storage, he suggest I leave it outside unlocked in "the Bronx". Rudest man I have met in Paris!
The hotel is far from the touristic points, the metro station is not that close. There was one member of the staff that wasn't helpful, he was extremely unpleasant but the other people were great.
Kind staff, good neighborhood, low cost, good beds.
hotel (rooms) need urgent updating, especially bathroom.
Price (with discount), nice district, metro about 10 min.
The room was not clean enough... but reasonable.
front office staff wifi room location
Very good staff. Speaks six languages! Reasonable price for the location. three persons room is even cheaper than the hostels.
It's a simple place, but perfectly adequate if you're just looking for a comfortable bed and a shower. The area is pleasantly relaxed.
Very small room. The place feels a bit overpriced, but this is Paris so we'll have to live with that...
The staff was very warm and welcoming which is rare. They all spoke English very well. There was a bathtub too, which is always a nicety.
The hotel common rooms have been updated, but the hotel rooms were dated.
