Very friendly owner Great breakfast Nice pool with lovely view Quiet countryside atmosphere Sunny grassy terrace

Without a car it's troublesome to get there from the train station, there were no taxis and had to wait for nearly an hour before one lady finally accepted our wish to get to the hotel (so rent a car!) - which is a 15min mostly uphill drive with many windy roads.

Very quiet village location. No food, but good restaurant a very short walk away. Comfortable, clean bedroom and bathroom.

Hotel is quite new and doesn't have much character, but tiny village it's in has plenty of character. It has table tennis tables and lots of game orientated things that probably would be good for families on longer stays, but which weren't really our thing.

Set in a delightful location in a small village off the beaten track. Staff very helpful and good local restaurants just a short stroll away.

Excellent service from owners,breakfast very good,and plenty, swimming pool excellent and lovely to cool off in after a trip, location good and views from our bed room best we have had ,suggest that small fan to be taken in hot season, bathroom and shower very good,would book this hotel again

No air con in bed rooms

We enjoyed our stay very much! Location is beautiful. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was great, large variety for only 8,50 euro P.P. After a day of sightseeing it was a joy to go to the pool for a swim and to relax in the garden. But most of all we appreciated the owners for their hospitality. We intend to come back for sure!

It's a pit that their is no possibility to have a small meal in the evening.

the atmosphere was very chilled out. thanks to the lovely people that run tha hotel.They made the hotel very amenable to all ages.It was the best hotel we stayed at through the all tour of france excellent 10/10

We had travelled from Bordeaux that afternoon so were tired. Joel and Brigette could not have been more welcoming and had arranged with the local restaurant that we got a vegetarian meal. The serenity and peace of their hotel was just what we needed and gave us the very best start to our holiday.The room had a terrace with a fab view which we made great use of during our 2day stay

We stayed at Hôtel Mounéa for one night on a road trip to see the prehistoric caves that are close by. We got in late and left early, but everything was set for us when we arrived. I even called ahead and the hotel made reservations for us at a local restaurant, only 30 meters away. The baby cot in the room was nice and we were glad that they provided it (we asked for one during booking). There's also plenty of parking on site and a pool (which we didn't get to take advantage of, but it looked nice). GPS coordinates for the Hotel are: 44.943167N, 1.134971E

Friendly and comfortable. Good breakfast bufet. Small village location. Npt much to do beyond walking and biking, but very pleasant place to stop.

The only dining in the village was limited and very poor for vegetarians.

Very friendly staff. Super location in a small sleepy village (but with a good restaurant) with nice views over the countryside. A very nice pool. All in all, great value.

Rooms on the upper floor (with gable windows) are a little dark, although have a great view.

Brigitte and Joel are lovely/friendly owners who are hard working/cheerful people and who run a lovely hotel that we loved. We will return to the Mounea!

Charm of the setting, relaxed and friendly staff.

The hosts were extremely welcoming, they did everything to make us feel at home, they even lend me their notebook for the night, as I have forgotten my computer at home. There was no downside to our stay.

There was not anything we did not like - but a kettle in the room would have been helpful being in such a remote area.

Le personnel très agréable et très disponible. Le petit déjeuner dans la véranda donnant sur une vue magnifique.

L'hôtel est idéalement placé. Parking. L'amabilité des propriétaires. Village calme typique du Périgord. Rapport Qualité-Prix.

Pas de ventilation dans la salle de bains.

Nos hôtes ont été très sympathiques. Le cadre est magnifique et l'hôtel offre des prestations type piscine, ping pong, billard qui peuvent plaire aux familles. Literie agréable. Nous sommes ravis!!

Un hôtel à budget raisonnable au centre du triangle touristique du Périgord noir. En bref, un hôtel au style chambres d'hôtes à recommander.

Un mitigeur dans la baignoire aurait été un plus.
