Hotel Mucrina  

Friendly satff, free secure parking

Basic very small room and ensuite, though clean and adequate. We booked because of the advertised 'daily half-board option' -but this didn't operate in the winter and both the local restaurants in the village were closed! Luckily we were only passing through.

Located only 5 min to airport. Free parking. Close to the beach.Good breakfast.

Very, very difficault to find an open restaurant at night in the nearby village.

It is in a quiet little village with excellent parking and a pool. The owners are very friendly and helpfull and we had a very good breakfast and evening meal, prepared with local ingredients,although there was no choice so might not suit everyone but you could decide in the morning and book for the evening.It is only about 1.5kms from Canal du Midi and 5km from Agde and nearby beaches .We thought it was very good value for money.

The room was quite small and the shower cubicle tiny, only about 2ft square but think other rooms had better facilities. Also no fan so imagine would be very hot in July/August

The hotel was lovely and clean, comfy, safe and friendly. The secure car park was free. The pool was a great facility and the sheltered outside eating area was also nice. The meals at the hotel were reasonably priced. Handy location for village for shops and eating/drinking outwith hotel. William, the owner and host was very helpful and spoke excellent english. The breakfasts were lovely and fresh every morning.

The weather was wonderfully hot and sunny, it would have been nice to have air conditioning or fan in the room. Also, the location of hotel was further from beach than we expected, if staying at this hotel we suggest driving to beaches as the first time we went to beach, we walked and it is quite a trek.

We stayed in Mucrina only one night at the very beggining of our holiday, and arrange to have evening meal and breakfast. The evening meal was really nice (one of the nicest we had all holiday), but it's a set menu, so if you are with any fussy eaters, then a short walk in to Vias and there are a number of places to eat. The staff were very helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay.

We needed to relax in private but to be near enough to members of our family, who were staying at Vias Plage,so that we could walk to see them. This location was perfect.In addition it was nice that our hosts had a perfect command of English.We loved staying at Mucrina and will probably stay again next year.

For picking up people from the nearby airport (Beziers) this is the perfect hotel! It's a 10 minute drive form the airport and has a swimming pool. There's a nearby village (Vars) within old medieval walls and if you're lucky, like we were when during the summer months there's live music and everyone- old and young, visitors and locals alike join in the fun.

Very kind attentive staff. Quiet location very close to Vias town and to Beziers. Hotel is great value for money, and includes a pool which is a good bonus at this price level.

Hotel facilities a bit basic and need some updating.

Facilité de logement, mon frère a une maison à 2 km, petit déjeuner complet avec pain aux céréales et édulcorants (diabétique), un petit plus par rapport à d'autres hôtels.
