Not good for travellers without a car - it is too far from town, the ski lift and especially the railway station Cleaning fee was expensive (35 euro) and the cleaning supplies & equipment provided made it very difficult to clean the apartment sufficiently to avoid this The view is poor if you are unlucky and overlook the car park

This shouldn't be advertised as a hotel, it is self-catering apartments with only basics in the room. Towels must be hired if you don't bring your own. There is no on-site restaurant. I think this would be a good place to stay if you are prepared and bring your own home comforts (towels, toiletries, washing up liquid, hand soap etc)

The location was good with lovely views from the large balcony and a 3 minute drive to the telecabine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartments were well kept and clean with excellent linen. Ax is a really pretty spa town with nice places to eat and drink. It is ideal for a famiy ski holiday. We have two small girls and a teenage boy and girl. It felt really safe and all the children had the freedom to enjoy the pistes and amenities.

Lack of parking on the weekend arrival. A large part of the car parking was snow covered. Two men could have shovelled it off in an easy mornings work, but they just cordoned it off and there was nowhere to park or unload the car anywhere near our apartment.

The apartments were modern and well designed with bunk beds in a cabin area which was as good as a second bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped and there was enough storage space. It also had a drying rack for wet ski clothes. It was quiet and had heaps of parking. A nice walk down the path into the village on a snowy morning.

These apartments are fully self catering and we had to take everything toilet paper, dishwash liquid, cleaning spray, teatowels, toaster, jug, sheets, towels. We were aware of this so it was ok but if you didn't realise it would have have brought the cost up having to go to the supermarket to buy things. Also it meant we had a lot of stuff and we stayed on the second floor so it was a bit of an effort getting everything up the steps. Also, there is a dishwasher so take dishwash tablets.

No one informed us at check-in that we must switch chauffage to run permanently if we wanted hot water in the evening. We returned exhausted from the ski slopes and we were not able to take a shower before going out for a meal (takes at least two hours to heat up). It may be good practice for environmental reasons but guests should be informed in advance!

the 800 path to arrive at the city and sky station is not very good and cannot be used at nigth

it was just out of the main town but close enought to walk to if you wanted. nice swimming pool and the rooms were of a good standard would book again.

Room was spacious and clean. Everything seemed new and well maintained. There was plenty of space to park cars. People at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

It was not exactly a hotel since bed linen and towels are not only paid in separate but also given to the client during check in. So, one is supposed to make up his/her own bed and also leave the room reasonably clean when leaving. Breakfast was disappointing and only "packed food" was available, except bread which was fresh. Location is barely out of village so one may expect to go to the village centre by car.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the studio for 2 people and by the outstanding tranquility of the block of appartments even though our stay was in August, a Saturday night and the establishment was full. Also outstanding were the helpfulness and the good humour of the staff.

Only disappointment was the lack of the two French TV stations showing the Olympics!

Bien que le studio soit neuf...dormir sur un clic clac ne nous a pas du tout enchanté. De plus, bien lire les petites lignes quand vous réservez car pas de linges (nous avons oublié d'apporter des draps et des serviettes) ménage à votre charge surcoût pour avoir la wifi

Teniamos habitacion para 6, un sofa cama, una cama de matrimonio y dos literas. El apartamento tenia todo lo basico: lavabo, bañera, cocina equipada... no tenemos ninguna queja, al contrario, la relacion calidad-precio es insuperable. Los apartamentos estan ubicados a la entrada del pueblo, en un sitio tranquilo y nada lejos del centro. Muy recomendado.

Todo perfecto. Hay q pagar si quieres ropa de cama y toallas, pero si ya lo sabes te lo llevas de casa.
