i liked that its cheaper than a suit or double room at any hotel .. when you have kids with you its gonna coast you a lot especially near the champe eleese ...
you have to pick the keys from the office and it was far away from the flat ... they give you the flats adress after you'll make the reservation.. and you cant cancell after you do reseve it.. the flat was at the thired floor in an old building and you have to go on an aufull staris ..especially if you are with kids and stroller or you have an old people with u. .and thre is no soap or hairdriere at the apartment or any thing that i can clean the flat with it ... somebody did enter the flat while i was out .. but nothing was stolen or something but it freaks me out
Location was perfect... off the main strip but walking distance to major attractions and great restaurants.
4 flights of stairs with no elevator was somewhat of a surprise...and very thin walls complete with grumpy neighbors. You have to tip toe around or the neighborhood will be at your door quick to reprimand you in multiple languages. The facilities were a bit rundown...but 'cozy.' Reminded me of staying at my friends old apartment in Brooklyn.
Location was great, only 5min walk from metro. La boucherie (bakers) and small conveinence shop round the corner. Very clean!
Small downside was that the mattress was quite hard ( but this is personnel preference I suppose)
Good location, close to metro stations
Status of apartment, falling apart and unhealty; several walls full of mould and paint missing; missing tile in toilet shower Negative attitude of staff; absolute lack of "customer care" attitude Impossibility to contact staff since all numbers only accessing answering machine; all calls made at customer expense; no call back despite left messages Apartment at third floor, no lift; not pre-informed for possible choise Apartment not cleaned (bed sheets, garbage, toilet, etc..) by arrival, despite check in appointment taken days before; clean up done after 3 hours of waiting Exactly the opposite of what you require for an accommodation service, in particular if you are on a tight schedule business trip One of the worst ever accommodation situations I experienced in the world (please note that I am used to travel with backpack!)
My flats in Paris gave me another flat. No the one I pay for. The owner of the apartment make me waste one day of my four in paris chaising the keys from one place to another. My flats in Paris never reply my complaints about that lady. The apartment didn't have toilet paper, bed sheets for the 3rd bed, the washing machine wasn't working. The elevator was completely disgusting. Completely a disappointmenting experience. Never again with this company and put me out of Paris as well.
Excellent location with a lot of restaurants around. Easy access to public transport Good size of apartment
It was well furnished
Toileteries should be provided, kitchen should be a bit more lighted
The flat had a great location, very central. Was lovely to experience the Pari way of living. Great security.
Strict pickup of keys before 5pm.
Good location, tube very near. Nice flat, very complete. You can stay few days or a whole month.
Internet disconect many times or did not work properly
The staffs were helpfull, show up on time. The area is quite beautiful and fairly safe as taking the metro alone, really good restaurant nearby.
Bed could be hard to sleep on
The worst place I had stayed in it. Dirty flat. No elevators.
I like the location
Metro was quite far away, we had many mice at the flat, there were no coverlets, mushroom in bathroom, no balcoon...
The location is excellent! It is like renting a private flat, the kitchen and the households were really nice, also in design taste...
There are drawbacks of staying at a flat instead of hotel. You need to make an appointment to get your key and for the staff to show the flat around, so there is already a tension of making it to that appointment, as they are very busy and it is not easy to change the time in short notice. Secondly, if you have a problem, or if you missed to ask something the first day at the welcome, it is less likely they will help you, unless it is something easy to help with on the phone. Third point is closely related to the second one. The person who handed the key didn't show us how to use the TV and just gave a password to the wifi. When he left we couldn't get the TV working, and the wifi also was not working. When we called, he replied saying he was connected to the wifi at the flat during the welcoming appointment, which in my opinion was a clear lie. The bottomline is, during our 4 days visit we had not wifi, and we were told that it was a general problem from the internet and tv service provider. Whether true or not, I think this was not acceptable at all. 4 days no wifi in the middle of Paris, and not even offering an alternative (there are subscriptions to public wifi networks which also was visible in our flat, that could have offered that as compensation). So, do not expect any flexibility or sincere interest in flat related problems. Lastly, you do not have a cleaning person coming to your room everyday obviously, which would push you cleaning the flat on your own if you stay there in longer periods of time.
Spacious, good location
There were ants in the apartement. Also, no hair drier available. No Internet connection.
Location; only 1 block to metro, grocery store, pharmacy, playground, on a very cute & green Avenue Perriere, which is far enough from the crowded and noisy city center, yet so accessible to all tourist sites via metro/bus, within walking distance to Arc de Triumph. Very clean and charming flat, tastefully decorated, on the top attic floor with plenty of natural light and nice views out to the city. Looks like very recently renovated. Very efficient heating system. Appliances in the flat; Washer/dryer, dishwasher, electric stove, microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, kettle, iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner. Nice size couch that can comfortable sleep an adult.
Elevator size & access; the flat was on 7th floor and elevator goes only to 6th floor. It's manageable with a stroller, but not ideal. Elevator too tight for 2 adults and a stroller. A hair dryer would be useful to have in the room. Not so important if you are visiting in hot summer months.
The big problem no lift to go to the third floor with a such staircase
The apartment's toilet was clogged when we walked in. The apartment smelled horrible. It was unlivable. The plumber came and did not clean up so the apartment smelled for two of the three nights. We did not want to stay the third night because we could not handle the smell but we were told we could not get a refund, so we lost the money and didn't stay there. There was no soap of any kind, and no trash bags. The plumber used one of our two towels and did not replace it. Unbelievably disappointed.
Located in non-touristy area but still close to key attractions Small but well equipped apartment
Communication about location and collection of keys Emails went into spam folder of gmail
Perfect location, nice apartment and functional space distribution.
The modem didn't work so there was no Wi-Fi and no telephone and, although we announced this during the first day, nobody repaired it during our 4 days stay. The drainage is rather slow.
The location was exceptional. It was clean and accessible to all major amenities. The building is secure and very well spec'd.
We were late for the check in by 20 minutes (due to our train running late and it taking longer than expected to navigate the Metro with a pram) and we didn't know that it was a hard and fast appointment. We spent a good amount of time and money phoning French numbers largely unsuccessfully until we were able to book another appointment to get the keys an hour later. When we checked out we had to leave the keys in the apartment, but I forgot our bag which meant another hurried phone call, a visit to the office and a hurried taxi to the train station thereafter. The onsite manager is not allowed a spare set to allow us access which was strange and having to leave the keys in the apartment seems an odd way of working.
Locality, eating and drinking, near to Metro and Champs Elysee etc. Cathleen and David were so very understanding and helpful when we were unable to get the door opened! Thanks
Nothing all good!
nothing special for what you pay
Checking in is problem as you need to be there at specific time. If you not travellor from inside france don't bother to book this. TOO FAR FROM CHAMPS ELLYSSEE when you book they claim to be central they give you name of closest tube station (the famous ones such as arch de triomphe which was 30 min walk) Pereire is the closest station and this is outside the centre of Paris, if you want to be close to the landmarks this is definitely not the place to be. The bed was uncomfortable. Not cheap either for what you get.
The flat we stayed in is within walking distance to l'Arc de Triomphe and only 2 mins walk away from the nearest metro station Wagram. Inside the flat you get all the appliances you need - even a washing machine! (Though detergent, shower gel etc were not provided).
I made an appointment with them to get the key in front of the flat but they turned up 20 minutes late without apologising.
Location is one stop away from Arc de Triomphe. Able to walk to the tourist attractions. There is carrefour nearby, you'll need to visit as there isnt anything in the apartment. Not even toilet rolls
Wifi sucks! David(the receptionist) gave us a set of instructions to follow. One if it was to email them if the wifi is down. How are we suppose to email them if the wifi is down? We have to keep resetting the modem to connect to the wifi. The flat is on the 3rd floor, no lift. Have to carry our heavy luggage up but David helped us. Gave us a few numbers to call them but the phone just couldn't connect. There wasnt any ringing tone at all. The information given in booking.com was different from the real thing. One of the reasons we booked was because they advertised that there'll be 2 twin beds in one of the rooms. But there wasn'T. It was strictly double beds in both rooms
The size of the room The kitchen gadgets The location The hangers in the closet The size of the bath
The staff was rude about the late check in request, did not solve the problem. Hair dyer was lacking The room was poorly cleaned
