This place has a GREAT location. It is very close to transportation. There are ATMs, very good shopping (especially men's clothing on Rue Turenne near the hotel), great restaurants (try Beaucoup on Rue Froissart around the corner), and necessary things like a pharmacy, market, laundry all within half a block. Breakfast is spartan, but adequate. Don't overlook the FREE box lunch you can take with you. You do have to ask about it. Because of the free lunch were able to have picnics in the Tuilleries and in Monet's garden in Giverny. The hotel was immaculately clean, important regardless of the room size or amenities no matter where you stay. The OMG Tiny Bathroom was TINIEST I'VE EVER SEEN! I expected a small room. And it was. Don't stay here if a large comfy room is what you need. This is where you stay to sleep. This is a great neighborhood If your room faces Rue Commines, don't plan to sleep with the window open. It's too noisy, but not a problem with the windows closed. With that in mind, it can get hot in Paris in summer and his hotel DOES NOT HAVE AC!

Staff was great. Hotel was small, comfy, and great location. They were doing some upgrading, and since the room next to ours had just been painted (and our room now smelled of paint, they quickly moved us to another (larger) room.

The location of the hotel was less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest Metro Station. The staff were excellent in the Hotel and it was easy to communicate in English with them. There was plenty of shops and cafes around the Hotel. The room was cold however it was in February that we travelled and they did provide an extra blanket. Also the bathroom was really small but I have heard that the room sizes are small in Paris

The staff was extremely helpful. The location of the hotel couldn't be any better, just a few minutes away from the metro stop Froissart, which is on a very useful metro line. You have direct access to Opera and Champs Elysees. Place des Vosges and small boutiques in Marais are within walking distance. The breakfast was included in the price and it was good. Our room was quite spacious by Paris standards. This hotel will be my first choice next time I visit Paris! The only thing I can complain about is that the breakfast area was a bit too small.

Location. Very close to Place de la République, an intersection of several metro lines. Chose a single room which I would advise to avoid like the plague. Barely room to move and clearly overpriced.

Very good location, friendly competent staff, decent breakfast, free bag lunch every day if you wanted to take it with you. The rooms are very small and the bathroom has only a shower, no bathtub (at least our double room did).

Great location. Quiet and comfortable. Inattention to detail. For example - single plastic cup per person when glass would cost little more; as it was guests were taking glasses from dining room instead; messy liquid sweet spreads for breakfast when pots of preserves would cost little more; dirty corners in room and bathroom; no duvets. Lift is a joke. Breakfast room is too small for number of guests, even off-season.

Great location, friendly staff, free working wi-fi....BUT...BUT..in the afternoon until 18pm, in the rooms on the sixt floor there is a terrible noise, like an helicopter on the on the roof. At the reception, they told us to depend on the ventilation system. Avoid the sisxt floor!

It had everything we needed. The lunch box is a brilliant idea and the hotel is near to a metro station. Breakfast not quite ready at 6.30 on morning of departure. Only BBC world news as English speaking channel on tv.

I have stayed in this Hotel many times so that should be recommendation enough! A bit noisy from the street but guess that is the case in any vibrant city.

My Hotel in France in Le Marias is very conveniently located in a charming and central area of Paris, close to the Metro.. My room was clean with large windows and a view to the street below. The common areas were tidy and the continental breakfast was varied and good. Nonetheless... I understand that Paris is an expensive place but I do not think this hotel was good value at over $250 a day as I explain below. My room (61 on the 6th floor) was very small with awkward low ceilings that slop and made the room difficult to navigate. The double bed took up most of the room! The bathroom door had to be closed for me-an averaged sized woman- to sit on the toilette in the tiny bathroom. I kept bumping my shoulder on an awkwardly placed clothing rack mounted on the right side wall in the room. I complained to the desk clerk (did not request a room transfer and was not offered) and he assured me that all of the room were the same size! The computer in the lobby warned that it was infected with a virus when I went to download my flight boarding pass. The desk clerk suggested that I over ride the warning and input my personal information. I did not and urged him to get the IT person to fix it.

It is a quaint little hotel. Not many clients and it feels like you away from the maddening crowds. Quiet area and right next to apartments so it makes you feel like you a Parisian. Food was not the best but it was ok. Especially the croissants. Welcome drinks were coffee from a vending machine with no milk.

Very friendly and helpful staff. No air conditioning a bit of a downer espescially when hot like during my stay but hotel does supply fans for the rooms. Use of internet, free continental breakfast and a light lunch box supplied every day all free were a plus not normally found in Paris. Rooms are a little on small side but modern fittings, clean etc and quiet location near metros bus plus local restaurants are plentifull. Bit of a small breakfast room which if full, you have to wait. No air con.
