Easy access to transport.
The location is excellent and the concept is convenient for the business traveller
The bed was like sleeping on a board but a minor issue
pillows - noise from the street
service breakfast and location to the heart of Nantes...
street noise on friday night
The location Bathroom linen. Friendly bedroom attendees.
The kitchen was extreamly poor in regard stock of very basic equipment. There was no comfortable chair in either the main room or the ancillary room. A demand for payment was requested within one minute of our entry to the hotel , which I would consider hugely unfriendly. The table chairs were of poor quality. However the bedding situation was actually disgraceful. The mattress in the main room was of camper quality and could not be considered a mattress. There was no under sheet or (mattress) protector. In fact I could not sleep during my stay and endured severe back pain since my 4 night stay. I wold not be recommending your accommodation to any of my colleagues.
The hotel is located in the centre of the town
There was nothing I didn't like
Clean and great location.
Need two pillows per person and better pillows. Everything else very good.
Location. Price Spacious accommodation
Very noisy locals on Saturday night.
Excellent for the price, good location, well equipped rooms. Underground parking 100m away.
Because of the location it is very noisy at night, not recommended if you are just looking for a good night's sleep!
- Central location in the city of Nantes. - You can easily park your car safe in the Feydeau underground parking lot for about €15/day.
- Our room was not cleaned at all when we arrived. There was dust everywhere. In the bathroom there was even (pubic) hair from earlier guests. The shower had lots of black fungus spots. - Several lights in our room were not functioning. One other small lamp beside the bed was even broken off the table where it used to be attached to. - The bed was terrible. The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. We could even feel the bed frame trough the mattress. This sleeping "experience" gave planking a whole new meaning... The bed itself was also very narrow for two persons. - The hallway on the third floor was an absolute mess. Stains, dirt, crumbles (?), dust and other stuff were "collected" on the floor carpet. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. As we were absolutely not satisfied with our room, we asked the staff for another room. They told us that the hotel was completely booked and that there were no more rooms available. This turned out to be a complete lie, as we saw that there were still several types of rooms available for that night in this hotel. We had a strong feeling that the staff was not very willing to help us. They promised us to have our room cleaned a second time. Unfortunately, this never happend. The only thing that happend, was putting a different lamp over the broken piece beside the bed. The next morning, the cleaning lady rang at our room. My girlfriend openend and got pushed towels for one person in her hands. So far the "cleaning service" for that day... I travel often for business reasons and stay in several hotels during the year. Mostly, the hotels I stay in for business reasons are in the same price range. However, if you are looking for a hotel in this price range, I would strongly advise to pick another one in the Nantes city centre, as this is not worth the money. I think that colleagues or other business partners of mine would not be pleased if I would book this hotel for them...
Next to our room was some kind of generator and it was noisey
location so close to the castle, restaurants and shops in Nantes, easy-going buffet breakfast, kitchen facilities in our room, good-sized bedroom, secure storage for our bicycles, friendly staff
Not much to dislike, but a bit disappointing that there was no pool at this hotel, although others in the chain have pools
Staff were very helpful. The location was right above a street filled with resturants so it was easy to find somewhere to eat. It's also within easy walking distance of the castle.
Because our room was over a resturant it was a bit noisy until early in the morning. This didn't bother us but might be a bit annoying for others.
Big big room , location
Not proper furniture. Cheap Feel
1. position is good and very close at tram(10m). 2. There is so many restraurant. 3. Also, department is very closely located at hotel and you can buy some food etc.
Location, near the historical centre Very cheap and modern parking nearby
Noisy, with a pub/disco just outside Difficult to find if traveling by car, since it is located in a pedestrian street
I liked the location, the quiet, the upgrade to a better apartment.
Although I knew in advance that this is a residence hotel and one has to clean it, there was not even a minimum of cleaning supplies (like a sponge, dishwashing soap, a kitchen towel, or extra trash bag) or instructions on what to do with the trash. The 4pm check-in seems unusually late.
The location of the hotel was excellent as it was by the castle, and train/metro station. Great value for money, as backpackers we found this great. Laundrette in the building. Plenty of restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. Amazing friendly staff, Jose especially as we had 2 terrible night sleep as the noise outside went on till early hours, he moved us to a lovely room much quieter very pleased :)
Very noisy on the front of the building, which resulted in us not sleeping.
The Hotel is in the centre of Nantes, in a very good position for visiting the city by walking. The room was very big with facilties for having breakfast in your room (boiler, cups...)
The bathroom was big but there wasn't any separation between the shower and the rest of the bath, no curtains, no shower box.
Excellent location to city centre for transport, cafe and sights. Good design with corridor kitchen with stove top and cooking pots and utensils if required. The standard double rooms are squeezy.
Despite double glazing, noisy drunken revellers in the street below disturbed sleep with windows closed. Being hot in summer, with no air conditioning, open windows equalled much noise. But was summer holidays over the weekend.
Great location in the old town close to the castle and walkable to the rail station and most sights. Large rooms with kitchen facilities (but not all with coffee making facilities). Breakfast was reasonable with lots of choice.
Don't stay here if you worry about hygiene: there was hair in my shower and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. The plastic kettle was melted and had to be replaced so clearly no one had bothered to check it was safe. Also, try to get a room on the courtyard side as the ones overlooking the street are quite noisy.
Location is central.Friendly staff.Clean room.Kitchen was useful.
Kitchen could be equipped better (no gel, sponge). No cover for pan.
The room was not cleaned at all. Literally, the maid service did not show up to our room at all during our stay. We had to empty our own trash bins at a bin on the street because they would overflow otherwise. The wifi did not work at all. Their excuse to all of this, "Well we don't know what to do". They ran out of food and drinks at the 7 to 10 breakfast by 8:30. Their excuse for this, "Well, we just don't have anymore 'croissants, etc'..." It was unbelievable. We may as well have camped out on the street. The location was the only good thing about this "hotel".
