Very helpful staff with good customer service
Wi fi bad connection
Great view. Rooms clean and comfortable
Fridge barely worked. Wifi sporadic. Asked for more toilet paper/garbage bags. Told not provided.
No service Staff presence Poor furniture
Location Rooms Cleaness Security
Located above Evian with good view of the lake.
Very dirty (we had an empty bottle of bier waiting for us on the front when we first arrived). Spiders and webs all over the room. The toilets were broken. Room facilities, including beds, sheets, pillows etc. were very basic. Front desk were nice but not helpful. WiFi and cellular reception is practically dead so we were offline during our stay.
Pool and tennis courts. Beeakfast option in reception building.
Isolated location without any shop in near vicinity. I cannot understand why there is not a shop on site with basic supplies as it is quite a drive to reach any shops or restaurants. There is no proper ceiling between upstairs and downstairs - literally just the wooden floor boards - so no sound insulation and, in fact, the kids could peek down at us through a knot hole in the floorboards. I did not feel that the chalet had been cleaned well before we arrived as the floor felt grimy under foot. Wardrobe door didn't slide well on rails. Shower did not have a wall attachment so you had to hold it above you to wash.
Lovely location and views. Pool was a real asset and worked well regardless of weather.
Kitchen was really poor, states fully equipped kitchen, however, no oven, toaster, kettle ortin opener. Making family cooking a challenge!
It is nearby Evian and with a good surrounding
Spent 2 hours to find the house. Still it is not on international route guidance, not on map. The given street name is not recognized.
Nice, clean and comfortable place. Great surroundngs. Arrived late but well guided for key in safe.
A bit of a walk up the hill from car park to carry luggage and little kids arriving late at night. Need GPS to find the location.
difficult to find
The location would be lovely if not in the clouds and so isolated. The receptionist was lovely, clearly overworked as she was the only one left to check the rooms after cleaning, which obviously she hadn't had time to do. She did offer to change our accommodation but we declined and had our money refunded.
The accommodation was dirty, mould in the bathroom, dirty skirting boards in the kitchen. The pans were dirty and unusable. The room was dark, cramped and had windows set so high you couldn't see out of them, more like being in a cell. There are no food facilities on site, not even for basics like bread and milk, which for a self catering site is dreadful. Also there is no restaurant, cafe or bar. Very remote so you have to drive to any shops after you arrive which for us travelling for 6hrs was not pleasing. The directions given for the site is also confusing as no distances mentioned and our SatNav didn't recognise the postcode. Eventually found it using my app on my mobile.
Swimming pool, the peaceful surroundings, the well stocked kitchen and the comfortable bed
Long wait to check in (30 min in queue) the musty smell when we went in to the chalet, the dirty stains on walls and cobwebs, the lack of action by the staff when I commented that the room was below par, no hair dryer
Facilities - swimming pool tennis court Rooms were very big and very clean The place is absolutely beautiful Very easy check in and check out
You have to have car to get in and out ....
The appartments were very clean and spacious. There were lots of towels and sheets available and the staff were very helpful.
There was no shop on site which meant driving to a supermarket. The pool was closed for the duration of our stay. It would have been useful if there was some basic items like washing up liquid and a washing sponge available in the appartment.
Peaceful place, good size units.
It was very difficult to find even with GPS and was further away from water than we expected from the ads
- Location was very calm and good for hiking and walking trails. - 2 room chalet which we stayed was having required kitchen utensils, towels, fridge, dishwasher, etc. It was very convenient to us. - Price was cheaper comparative with other apart hotels nearby geneva lake. Good value for money. - Thanks to booking.com reviews, we prepared ourselves to stay in this hotel and so we dont have much complaints. - Cleaning of the apartment was not required except kitchen before we checkout. This is a good option. - Reception is not open 24x7 but they arrange lockers to provide keys to the ones who come during non-working hours. This is a very convenient option. Indeed you need to inform the hotel admin prior to your arrival to get this option.
- Facilities like swimming pool were not usable and full of dirt. And I have never seen the tennis court was used by anyone or it was open. - Staff were answering to some extent as we had some issues about our early check-in at the hotel. But they were not very helpful and kind. - Shower was not proper and so water was spilling outside shower area and made the bathroom floor wet. This was not convenient especially when we, 5 adults stayed in a chalet.
View of Lac Leman
Chalet was dirty and not very well maintained. Sink leaked as did the dishwasher, as they were blocked. The walls were filthy, as were the floors. The chalet needed a repaint and deep clean. Behind the chalet there were many garlic smelling weeds, which needed to be removed, as every time you went outside that is all you could smell. Also, the swimming pool was not open as per the website, which did state May when we booked, but was half full with green water! Finally, the site was occupied by many groups of male workers. We will definitely not be stopping here again!
Good staff. They speak english. Quiet place.
The serenity and beauty of the mountain location.
Too far from city access. Poor direction and signage on the road. Lack of restaurant facilities
The tennis court was good.
The wifi was very poor. For us, it just worked for half a day, while we were there for two days and since it was weekend the reception was closed and we did not get any help. We had also problem with hot water. We got a room for six people, however, it was only good for 4 people. There is just a sofa which could be used as bed for the additional two people. The pool was closed.
We were travelling to a Morzine so stopped for one night. Excellent value for money for 5 of us - clean, comfortable, amazing views.
Lady on reception extremely rude. We got lost and reception closes at 7pm so phoned as it was 6.45pm and she was so rude. No kettle and water took about an hour to boil on stove for a cup of tea.
I started by cleaning the rooms and washing floor with the cloth. Really dirty rooms- floor not washed, stairs dust and cigarettes ash. It was non smoking flat???? Also Dishwasher should be checked as well by cleaner. I had to was the filter to get clean dishes and wash twice the dishes. Personal was friendly and helpful.
chalet was large and comfortable.
confusion on what we needed to bring and what was provided
Very nice place. Simple and small but enough to spend nice ski winter holidays as a family. Location is really good.
